MyENEMY Announce Intense New EP "Castaway" coming October 31st, 2024!
Prepare for a sonic upheaval as MyENEMY drops their highly anticipated EP, "Castaway," on Halloween 2024. This EP is set to ignite the metal thrash hardcore scene with its relentless energy and innovative approach, marking a significant milestone for the band.
MyENEMY is the brainchild of Joey Wilkinson, the former guitarist for Universal Recording artist Dropbox. The project emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic when Joey began crafting music with no clear destination. The search for a vocal collaborator led him to Matt Caustic, known for his work with NY band Caustic Method and former Pavement Recording artists. After sending Matt a demo of "Love Is Pain," the collaboration took off, with Matt returning vocal tracks within 24 hours. The chemistry was undeniable, and thus began a fruitful partnership that, despite never having met in person, resulted in over 17 powerful songs.
Joining Joey and Matt in their mission to redefine metal, Donny Weissinger of Hate Grenade contributes second guitar work, while long-time friend and fellow Piston Driven co-founder Scott O’Ferrall brings his drumming prowess to several tracks. Adding to the lineup, Joey’s former Piston Driven bandmate AJ steps in on bass, and producer/engineer Chibo Jones delivers a standout guitar solo on one of the album’s tracks.
In contrast to Joey Wilkinson’s previous work with Dropbox, MyENEMY breaks new ground by reviving the classic American metal sound with a modern twist. The band’s approach is a bold statement in today’s metal landscape, characterized by aggressive riffs and dynamic rhythms that cut through the noise.
"Castaway" is just a taste of what’s to come from MyENEMY. With its raw intensity and uncompromising style, the EP is poised to resonate with fans of metal thrash and hardcore alike, cementing the band’s place at the forefront of the genre.
For fans of: The genre-defying spirit of metal thrash and hardcore, MyENEMY stands apart with its American guitar-driven metal sound.

Pythonic Wins Battle of the Bands on Metal Devastation Radio and is Named Band of the Month for September 2024 - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pythonic Wins Battle of the Bands on Metal Devastation Radio and is Named Band of the Month for September 2024
Canada's Rising Metal Force, Pythonic, Emerges Victorious with Over 113,000 Votes
Pythonic has claimed the coveted title of Band of the Month for September 2024 on Metal Devastation Radio, triumphing in the Battle of the Bands competition with an impressive 113,367 votes. This victory marks a significant milestone for the Canadian metal outfit as they prepare to release their highly anticipated debut EP, titled EP 1, on September 27, 2024.
"Pythonic is ecstatic to finally be releasing our first set of recordings," says the band. "We have been working diligently over the years to perfect our craft and bring it to the masses. What our craft can be described as we have always left open to interpretation. We've heard wild claims from people over the years—'You sound like Bolt Thrower or Morbid Angel with clean vocals.' The one that resonates most with us, though, is being labeled as Groove Metal. We are a groovy bunch of dudes, and the music makes people move. Although it's a fairly ambiguous sub-genre, we don’t confine ourselves to any single style, leaving it open for us to produce any type of track we desire."
For Fans of: Lamb of God, Devildriver, Machine Head, Trivium, Pantera
Critical Acclaim:
"Pythonic comes from Canada with 'Epica,' a track that features fast-paced guitar riffs, heavy drums, and an engaging, torn vocal that delivers the essence of metal while subverting genres such as alternative, thrash, and even melodic. Perfect for the circle pit, it won't leave anyone standing still." – Os Garot Os Deliverpool
"Pythonic has an EP for you. Blending Thrash with Old School Swedish Death Metal, the band manages to sound like Entombed without losing its unique style... If you have a few minutes of anger to drain, these guys have got you covered!" – Metal Eclipse Reviews

Press Release: Webb of Deceit Releases New Single "Peace Of Chaos" Featuring Brandon Barker of Crazy Mad Ride! - @thebeast
Location: Lexington, TN
Release Date: September 1, 2024
FFO: Brutal Death Fuck, Skulls Of Death, Never Reborn
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Webb of Deceit Releases New Single "Peace Of Chaos" Featuring Brandon Barker of Crazy Mad Ride
Webb of Deceit, the brainchild of Carl Webb, proudly announces the release of their highly anticipated second single, "Peace Of Chaos," today. This electrifying track features a guest appearance from renowned guitarist Brandon Barker of the thrash metal band Crazy Mad Ride, adding an explosive energy to the project’s evolving sound.
About the Project: Webb of Deceit began as a solo project for Carl Webb, sparked by his experience at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest. The camaraderie and raw talent he encountered at the fest reignited his passion for creating music. Inspired by the connections he made, Carl began collaborating with fellow musicians, leading to the development of Webb of Deceit’s distinctive sound.
"Peace Of Chaos" follows the release of the first single, "HELLSWITHIN," and both tracks are part of the upcoming EP, Evil In Progress, set to drop this fall. While "HELLSWITHIN" showcased the technical brilliance of guitarist Jason Aaron Wood and the powerful vocals of Dave Frost, "Peace Of Chaos" brings a new dimension to the project with Barker's aggressive thrash guitar work, pushing the boundaries of metal even further.
Production and Collaboration: All songs on Evil In Progress, including "HELLSWITHIN" and "Peace Of Chaos," have been expertly mixed and mastered by Zach Moonshine of Moonraven Studios. Known for his deep involvement in the Tennessee metal scene through the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest, Metal Devastation PR, and Metal Devastation Radio, Zach Moonshine’s production work has been instrumental in bringing Webb of Deceit’s vision to life.
Carl Webb's Vision: Expressing his excitement about the release, Carl Webb stated, "The Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest truly motivated me to play music again. It provided me with the network and resources to make this project happen. I'm truly grateful for the support and encouragement from the metal community, especially the friends I've made at the fest. 'Peace of Chaos' and 'HELLSWITHIN' are just the beginning, and I can't wait for everyone to hear what we've been working on...Pure Metal!"
Availability: "Peace Of Chaos" is now available on all major streaming platforms. Fans of thrash metal and underground metal alike are encouraged to listen and experience the latest offering from Webb of Deceit.
Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming EP, Evil In Progress, and future releases from this dynamic project.
