FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Casket Kids Unleash “Through Death,” A Blood Soaked Blend Of Metal, Hardcore, And Punk From Upcoming Album Black Miasma
Huntsville, AL – April 24, 2026 – Huntsville’s own underground horror merchants The Casket Kids return with a brand new slab of chaos titled “Through Death,” the second single from their highly anticipated upcoming album Black Miasma.
This time around, the band digs even deeper into the dark side of myth and consequence, delivering a track that warns of the horrors of necromancy, the price of forbidden rites, and what happens when the dead do not stay quiet.
“Through Death” is a fierce fusion of metal, hardcore, and punk energy, built for fans who like their music raw, loud, and a little dangerous. It is the kind of track that does not just play in your speakers, it crawls around in your head after.
“Through Death, They Live!”
That is the band’s own chilling declaration behind the single, and it sets the tone perfectly for what The Casket Kids are building with Black Miasma .
The band continues to sharpen their identity with a sound that pulls from old-school rebellion and horror soaked theatrics, carving out a lane that feels both familiar and twisted in all the right ways.
FFO: The Misfits , Ramones , Black Flag , Pentagram
ABOUT THE BAND
The Casket Kids are:
Christian Youngblood on vocals
Paul “Tokin” Dupont on guitar
Johnny “Decay” Perna on bass
Brennan “Pepper” Persing on drums
Born out of the Huntsville underground, the band has already carved a reputation for blending horror imagery with punk attitude and heavy hitting metal aggression. Their debut album SHI opened the door. Black Miasma looks like the one kicking it off the hinges.
Produced with the same raw intensity that defines their sound, The Casket Kids continue pushing forward without cleaning anything up for comfort. This is grit, distortion, and storytelling with teeth.

FALSE MESSIAH RETURNS WITH CINEMATIC NEW SINGLE “SHADOWS OF FAITH” - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FALSE MESSIAH RETURNS WITH CINEMATIC NEW SINGLE “SHADOWS OF FAITH”
False Messiah keeps building their dark symphonic world with the release of “Shadows of Faith” , arriving April 22nd, 2026!
False Messiah is a cinematic symphonic dark metal collective known for fusing orchestral drama with modern heavy production and dystopian storytelling. This new single continues the unfolding narrative from previous releases like Iron Sky and Rise of the Seven , all leading toward the upcoming full-length album Seven , due June 19 via Semetery Records.
“Shadows of Faith” digs deeper into the psychological fallout of collapse and betrayal. As belief systems fracture and symbols lose their weight, the track turns inward, exploring how conviction survives when everything familiar falls apart. It is heavy, atmospheric, and emotionally charged, carrying that signature cinematic weight the band has been carving out since day one.
Think sweeping orchestration colliding with modern metal aggression, wrapped in a story that feels both mythic and uncomfortably human.
FOR FANS OF: Nightwish, Within Temptation, Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Lord of the Lost, Epica, In This Moment
GENRES: Cinematic Metal, Symphonic Metal, Dark Metal, Gothic Thrash, Heavy Metal, Emo Nu Metal
This is not just another release. It is another fracture in the system.

Evil Age Return with Crushing New Single “Demon Grip” – Video Premieres May 5, 2026 - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Evil Age Return with Crushing New Single “Demon Grip” – Video Premieres May 5, 2026
Niagara Escarpment – There’s no easing into this one. Evil Age are back, and they’re coming in swinging. Fresh off their signing with CDN Records, the band unleashes their latest single, “Demon Grip,” a vicious descent into the darker corners of the human mind.
Where their debut established the tone, “Demon Grip” digs deeper and hits harder. This track is all about letting the wrong forces take hold. It explores what happens when you feed the negative, obsess over destructive thoughts, and slowly shut out anything good trying to break through. It’s not subtle. It’s not pretty. It’s a full-on psychological spiral set to bone-crushing riffs and relentless aggression.
Evil Age continue to carve out their identity with a sound that feels ancient and hostile, blending suffocating heaviness with feral speed. This isn’t just music you throw on in the background. It’s something that drags you under and makes you sit in it.
Lyrically, “Demon Grip” paints a bleak picture of transformation. Over time, the damage builds. The person you were fades out. What’s left is something colder, something unrecognizable. A shell overtaken by something you willingly let in. That’s the hook right there. This isn’t possession forced on you. It’s invited. And once it’s got you, it doesn’t let go.
The official video for “Demon Grip” premieres May 5, 2026, and if it matches the intensity of the track, it’s going to leave a mark.
CDN Records continues to back artists that don’t play it safe, and Evil Age fit that mold perfectly. No trends, no compromises. Just raw, punishing metal with something to say, even if it’s staring straight into the abyss.
Stay locked in. This is just the next chapter, and it’s already getting darker.

KÜNTSQUÄD Unleash Banned and Uncensored Video “Piss N Purge” A Savage, Satirical Gut-Punch from Satan’s Cock - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KÜNTSQUÄD Unleash Banned and Uncensored Video “Piss N Purge”
A Savage, Satirical Gut-Punch from Satan’s Cock
Melbourne, Australia – If subtlety is your thing, turn back now. KÜNTSQUÄD are kicking the door clean off with their latest visual assault, the banned and uncensored video for “Piss N Purge.” Pulled from their notorious full-length Satan’s Cock , the clip arrives as the second entry in a series of five videos already deemed too extreme for standard streaming platforms. Naturally, that just makes it hit harder.
Watch “Piss N Purge” (Uncensored Official Video):
Originally flagged and forced into censorship for mainstream outlets, “Piss N Purge” stands as one of the band’s most confrontational pieces to date. Beneath the chaos, there’s a razor-sharp message. The track tears into the normalization of excess, dragging humanity’s obsession with disposable consumption into the spotlight and smashing it to pieces.
This isn’t just about drugs or reckless living. KÜNTSQUÄD zoom out and take aim at the bigger machine. The same mindset that fuels self-destruction on a personal level also feeds a wider system built on greed, class warfare, and the expendability of human life. Acquisition, consumption, domination… all sold as necessary. The end result is always the same: someone gets purged.
And yeah, they make it ugly on purpose.
Visually, the clip leans hard into grotesque humor and raw, unfiltered imagery. It’s the kind of thing that’ll make some people laugh, others squirm, and a few slam the laptop shut. The “rockstar lifestyle” gets dragged through the mud and left there, exposing the absurdity of it all through a lens that’s equal parts satire and straight-up filth.
Musically, it’s everything you expect from KÜNTSQUÄD and then some. Filthy, down-tuned riffs. D-beat fury. And Paula VC Damnzal delivering vocals like a possessed preacher at the end of the world. It’s loud, fast, and hits like a bar fight you didn’t see coming.
For those playing it safe, a censored version is available via the band’s official YouTube channel. For everyone else, the uncensored cut is where the real damage gets done.

HÖWLER Drop Ferocious New Single “Rotten Cortex” Ahead of Upcoming Album Beyond Mortal Control - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HÖWLER Drop Ferocious New Single “Rotten Cortex” Ahead of Upcoming Album Beyond Mortal Control
San José, Costa Rica – Thrash metal powerhouse Höwler are back with another crushing preview of their upcoming full-length album Beyond Mortal Control , set for worldwide release on May 8, 2026 via CDN Records.
The band has just unleashed their second single, “Rotten Cortex,” a blistering assault that dives deep into psychological domination and internal corruption. The track explores the idea of a hidden puppeteer, the force lurking within that seizes control and bends reality to its will. Fast, sharp, and absolutely unforgiving, “Rotten Cortex” shows Höwler operating at peak intensity.
Formed in 2009, Höwler have built their name on a no-nonsense blend of old school thrash aggression and surgical precision. Over the years, they’ve dominated stages across Latin America alongside heavy hitters like D.R.I., Whiplash, Angelus Apatrida, Destruction, Destroyer 666, and Malón.
With four full-length albums already under their belt— Back to Madness (2014), Fallen But Not Forgotten (2018), No More Circus (2020), and Descendants of Evil (2022)—the band continues to evolve without losing that raw, neck-snapping edge.
Now reloaded as a tighter, more focused three-piece, Höwler have sharpened their sound into something darker, leaner, and far more dangerous. Beyond Mortal Control is shaping up to be their most aggressive and technically refined release yet, and “Rotten Cortex” is proof they’re not holding anything back.
The album’s artwork was created by acclaimed artist Andrei Bouzikov, with logo and title design handled by MR WOLF, locking in the visual identity of this new era.
Beyond Mortal Control will be released worldwide on May 8, 2026 via CDN Records on CD and vinyl.

Alongside the album drop, the band has unleashed the official visualizer for the feral standout track “Lustful Butcher” and revealed the album’s brutal cover art.

Hallows Eve’s Tommy Stewart Talks New Music, Old School Roots, and Keeping It Real on The Zach Moonshine Show - @thebeast
Hallows Eve’s Tommy Stewart Talks New Music, Old School Roots, and Keeping It Real on The Zach Moonshine Show
The latest episode of The Zach Moonshine Show on Metal Devastation Radio delivered exactly what underground metal fans live for… a raw, unfiltered conversation with a true lifer. Tommy Stewart of Hallows Eve, Black Doomba Records, and Tommy Stewart’s Dyerwulf joined the show for a deep dive into his latest work, his process, and a lifetime in heavy music.
Right out of the gate, the conversation had that classic “figuring out the tech while talking shop” vibe… the kind of real-world chaos that makes live interviews feel alive. From Discord confusion to audio setups running through mixers and compressors, it was a reminder that even seasoned veterans are still navigating the ever-changing digital landscape. No polished corporate nonsense here… just two guys making it work and getting straight to the good stuff.
The Meaning Behind “My Politics Are My Own”
The centerpiece of the discussion was Dyerwulf’s new single, “My Politics Are My Own.” And here’s the kicker… despite the title, it’s not about politics in the way people assume.
Stewart made it clear: the song is about not engaging in the noise. In a world where everyone’s shouting opinions online, he’s choosing the opposite lane. Keep it private. Keep it personal. No flag-waving, no debates, no soapbox.
That message, ironically, stirred up mixed reactions. Some playlists rejected the track purely based on the word “politics” without digging deeper. That says more about the current climate than the song itself. Stewart leaned into it though. If anything, the reaction proved the point.
At its core, the track is about drawing a line. Not taking sides… just stepping out of the circus entirely.
A Raw Recording Process That Hits Hard
If you’re expecting overproduced, polished-to-death modern metal… this ain’t that.
The recording process for the track was as stripped down as it gets. Stewart laid down what was meant to be a scratch bass track… and ended up keeping it. One take. Full force. So aggressive it literally tore up his fingers mid-recording.
From there, drummer Joseph Dingle stepped in and nailed his parts in a single take as well. No endless rehearsals, no overthinking. Just musicians who know their craft showing up ready to deliver.
Even the vocals followed that same instinct-driven approach. Lyrics written on the fly, recorded with minimal passes. Stewart described it like pulling something already written out of the air… one of those rare moments where everything just clicks.
Bass-Driven Doom With a Twist
Dyerwulf continues to carve its own lane with a bass, drums, and vocals setup. No guitars. No filler. Just thick, heavy low-end and rhythm.
To shake things up, Stewart brought in Caleb Riser of Black Moon Cult to handle a lead bass section. That’s right… lead bass. And it works.
Instead of competing for space, the two bass styles complement each other. One holds down the foundation, the other adds texture and chaos on top. It’s unconventional, but that’s the whole point.
Old School Mentality Meets Modern Reality
One thing that stood out through the entire conversation… Stewart doesn’t chase trends. Never has.
He sees his entire career as one long songwriting journey, whether it’s Hallows Eve, Dyerwulf, or anything in between. The names change, the lineup changes, but the core stays the same.
That mindset carries into how he handles business too. Contracts aren’t about control… they’re just agreements. Plans. Clarity. Simple and old-school.
And while the industry keeps evolving with new platforms like Discord, Twitch, and beyond, Stewart approaches it with curiosity instead of resistance. He’s learning, adapting, but not losing himself in the process.
The Atlanta Scene and Those Classic Warehouse Days
The conversation took a nostalgic turn diving into the Atlanta scene. Back in the day, rehearsal spaces were packed with bands who would eventually become major names.
We’re talking about shared walls with bands like Mastodon, The Black Crowes, and Jackyl… all grinding it out in the same buildings, feeding off each other’s energy.
That kind of environment shaped the sound and the attitude. Loud, competitive, and full of personality. If your band was too loud for the room next door… that was a badge of honor.
Vinyl, Collecting, and Letting Go
Like any true lifer, Stewart has a deep connection to vinyl. Not just for listening, but for collecting.
But here’s the twist… he’s also lost massive collections more than once. Walked away from everything during a breakup. Lost another chunk to a flood. And his attitude?
It’s just stuff. You can always get more.
That perspective hits different in a world where people obsess over collecting. For Stewart, the music matters more than the object… even if he still appreciates a rare pressing when it shows up.
Festivals, Label Work, and What’s Next
Outside of recording, Stewart’s staying busy with Black Doomba Records, supporting multiple festivals, and working on upcoming releases… including new material from Megaton Communion.
Dyerwulf’s next full-length is in progress, with a target window somewhere down the line. No rush. The focus is on making it right, not just making it fast.
Final Thoughts
This wasn’t just another interview… it was a snapshot of what it means to stick with metal for the long haul.
No gimmicks. No trend-chasing. Just honesty, experience, and a willingness to keep evolving without losing your roots.
And if there’s one takeaway from the whole thing, it’s this… you don’t have to shout the loudest to be heard. Sometimes the strongest move is stepping back and letting the music speak for itself.
Crank it loud.

HELLRAZOR, KUF, ANTIMOZDEBEAST, HEXJAKT, MY DARK FATE & NOCTURNAL CEREMONY FEATURED IN NEW ISSUE OF ROCK HARD MAGAZINE - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HELLRAZOR, KUF, ANTIMOZDEBEAST, HEXJAKT, MY DARK FATE & NOCTURNAL CEREMONY FEATURED IN NEW ISSUE OF ROCK HARD MAGAZINE
Issue includes Black Label Society on the cover alongside major international metal coverage
Jackson, TN – Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that multiple roster artists are featured in the latest issue of Rock Hard Magazine , one of the most respected international heavy music publications. This month’s issue is led by a cover feature on Black Label Society , with extensive coverage inside spotlighting key underground and rising heavy acts from across the global metal scene, including several Metal Devastation PR clients.
The issue features full reviews, interviews, and ratings that highlight the continued strength, diversity, and evolution of modern heavy music.
HELLRAZOR – Wings of Deliverance
Rating: 7.5
Rock Hard Magazine describes the album as a fluid and unpredictable journey where “melodic rock tradition and epic power metal elegance converge with progressive experimentation.” The review continues:
“Listening to Hellrazor’s debut album means surrendering to unconventional sounds that alternate between rough passages and enveloping moments, delicacy and harshness, harmony and dissonance.”
The magazine praises the record’s refusal to conform, noting its “fascinating, colorful aura” and its ability to remain “elusive yet deeply intriguing” across thirteen tracks.
KUF – Chapter 1
Rating: 7.5
KUF’s debut EP is highlighted for its blend of vintage influence and modern heaviness. Rock Hard notes the band’s ability to bridge eras, stating:
“The distinctly retro vein that permeates Dance of Deceit adds real value, blending classic hard rock and doom with an earthquaking stride.”
The review also emphasizes standout moments across Final Descent and Quicksand Serenade , adding:
“The right balance between tradition and contemporary flair results in a remarkably high and effective level of quality.”
ANTIMOZDEBEAST – The Vagrant Unkempt Grave
Interview Feature
The industrial metal project led by Gabriel Palacio is featured in a deep interview exploring its philosophy, creative process, and lyrical themes. Palacio describes his artistic approach as constantly evolving:
“My goal is to create a new or different style with each release, as if writing an ongoing novel. The premise stays the same, but the dialogue keeps evolving.”
On inspiration and depth, he adds:
“I read a lot of philosophy and literature — from Dostoevsky to Voltaire. Abundance of knowledge goes hand in hand with life experience.”
The interview highlights a project built on experimentation, introspection, and unfiltered creative expression.
HEXJAKT – Blessing of the Damned
Interview Feature
The Swedish doom trio discusses identity, emotional weight, and the philosophy behind their music. On their name, they explain:
“The Swedish word hexjakt sounds harsh and severe. Its meaning refers to the interrogation methods used against alleged witches — exploring darkness and the occult naturally follows.”
On emotional authenticity in performance, the band states:
“To leave room for genuine emotion, you must stay anchored to something real. The voice must become the darkest tone — music should be a natural extension of what you feel.”
The feature reinforces Hexjakt’s commitment to long-form, atmospheric doom rooted in existential themes and raw emotional delivery.
MY DARK FATE – Paint It, Black
Rating: 7.5
Austrian band My Dark Fate returns with a bold reinterpretation of The Rolling Stones classic Paint It Black . Rock Hard Magazine highlights the band’s stylistic transformation following their 2022 release No Prophecy , noting a shift toward a more gothic and decadent sonic identity.
The addition of vocalists Marina and Stefan is praised for creating a striking duality:
“The arrival of two new singers brings a strong contrast between vocal styles, enriched by Scandinavian death-metal influences.”
The review concludes that the track confirms the band’s interpretative strength while pointing toward an exciting new creative direction.

NOCTURNAL CEREMONY – Obsidian
Rating: 8
Veteran Norwegian extreme metal force Nocturnal Ceremony returns with Obsidian , a long-awaited album described as dark, dense, and uncompromising. Rock Hard characterizes the record as:
“Dark and impenetrable, a reflection of negativity that exorcises inner demons through rage, violence, and ferocity.”
Musically, the album is rooted in blackened death metal, delivering “lethal riffs, extreme vocals, and relentless intensity” across fourteen tracks with no reprieve.

ETHEREAL DARKNESS UNLEASHES HAUNTING NEW VIDEO “GONE WITH THE TIDE” - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ETHEREAL DARKNESS UNLEASHES HAUNTING NEW VIDEO “GONE WITH THE TIDE”
Belgium’s rising melodic death/doom force, Ethereal Darkness, has released their powerful new video for “Gone With The Tide,” available now. The track serves as a defining moment from their latest album Echoes , capturing the band’s signature blend of crushing heaviness, atmospheric depth, and emotional weight.
Formed in 2018 by guitarist and vocalist Lars, Ethereal Darkness began as a solo endeavor before quickly evolving into a full-fledged band with a clear and uncompromising vision. Their 2019 debut Smoke and Shadows made serious waves in the underground, setting the stage for what would become a steadily rising trajectory through the European metal scene.
Over the years, the band has brought their immersive sound to major festival stages including Dark Mental (DK), Alcatraz (BE), and Darken The Moon (BE), sharing the spotlight with heavyweights like Behemoth , Arch Enemy , Insomnium , and Harakiri for the Sky .
With the addition of lead guitarist Zjesse in 2024, Ethereal Darkness expanded their sonic palette even further, sharpening their melodic edge while digging deeper into darker, more atmospheric territory. The result is Echoes , a record that has already earned widespread praise for its balance of intensity and atmosphere, solidifying the band as one of Belgium’s most promising forces in modern melodic death metal.
“Gone With The Tide” stands as a centerpiece of that evolution.
“Gone With the Tide was the song that showed us what this album would become. It set the tone, the weight, and the direction. A lyrics video felt like an honest way to share it, the story deserves to be read as much as it deserves to be heard.”
The new video brings that vision to life, offering fans a deeper connection to the song’s lyrical themes while immersing them in the band’s dark, melancholic soundscape.
For fans of Insomnium , Be'lakor , and Harakiri for the Sky , Ethereal Darkness delivers a gripping experience that hits hard and lingers long after the final note fades.
“Gone With The Tide” is out now. Turn it up, read along, and let it pull you under.
Follow Ethereal Darkness for more updates and upcoming announcements.
Echoes is available now worldwide.

SKULLCHURN UNCOVERS RAW DEATH METAL WITH “OF DEATH AND REBIRTH (DEMO 2026)” - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SKULLCHURN UNCOVERS RAW DEATH METAL WITH “OF DEATH AND REBIRTH (DEMO 2026)”
Presave / Stream: Bandcamp | YouTube
April 24, 2026 – From the shadows of the European underground, Skullchurn rises to claim its place in the annals of death metal with their ferocious debut demo, Of Death And Rebirth (Demo 2026) . Forged from the bloodline of Dutch and Czech musicians who have traversed the realms of Burial Remains, Grim Fate, Massive Assault, and Symbtomy , Skullchurn delivers a sound that is raw, relentless, and unapologetically old school.
Blurring the lines between decay and brutality, the four-track demo is a masterclass in unpolished aggression. Razor-sharp riffs collide with relentless drumming, while production that favors grit over gloss evokes the feeling of discovering a long-lost tape from the earliest days of death metal. Listeners will find themselves trapped in a nightmarish landscape where violence, horror, and rebirth fuse into one suffocating experience.
Lyrically, Skullchurn channels surreal horror, spinning visions of death and transformation that feel ripped from decaying cult cinema reels. Each track is a cinematic fragment—violent, dreamlike, and drenched in dread—appealing directly to fans of Possessed, Death, and Necrovore .
“ Of Death And Rebirth delivers vile, old school death metal with a thrashy edge. Taking influences from the originators of the genre, from a time when death metal was raw and unpolished,” says the band.
Mixed and mastered by Wim de Vries , this demo is a declaration: Skullchurn is here to remind the metal world that true death metal never dies—it mutates, decays, and comes back even heavier.

BRAINMAZE Unleashes New Single “Nightmare & Reality” – A Crushing Descent Into Inner Conflict - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BRAINMAZE Unleashes New Single “Nightmare & Reality” – A Crushing Descent Into Inner Conflict
After years spent forging his sound in the shadows, Bulgarian musician and visionary Ivan Shishkov continues the evolution of his solo project BRAINMAZE with the release of a powerful new single, “Nightmare & Reality.”
Building on the dark foundation laid by his debut full-length When Your Demons Come , Shishkov pushes even deeper into the psychological abyss, delivering a track that blurs the line between illusion and truth, fear and self-awareness. If the debut album opened the door to the mind’s darker corners, “Nightmare & Reality” walks straight in and refuses to turn the lights on.
More than a decade in the making, the BRAINMAZE project has always been rooted in persistence, late-night creation, and an unshakable drive to bring long-held ideas to life. Every composition begins at the core, built from bass-driven concepts that evolve into dense, aggressive, and emotionally charged soundscapes.
“Nightmare & Reality” stands as a defining moment in that journey. With layered arrangements, heavy atmosphere, and a cinematic sense of tension, the track captures the fragile boundary where perception and reality collide.
“This track represents that moment when you can no longer escape your own mind,” says Shishkov. “It’s about facing what’s real—even when it feels like a nightmare.”
True to the BRAINMAZE vision, the project remains a global collaboration without borders. While Shishkov drives the concept, music, and creative direction, the sound is brought to life through an international network of musicians and production talent, reinforcing the project’s identity as a worldwide metal force built on pure creative freedom.
“Nightmare & Reality” expands on the core themes of When Your Demons Come —internal struggle, identity, and confrontation with the subconscious—while sharpening the project’s sonic edge into something even more immersive and unrelenting.
This isn’t just a single. It’s a psychological deep dive with teeth.
“Nightmare & Reality” is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Broken Trinity Unleash Myth, Fire, and Truth on Metal Devastation Radio - @thebeast
Broken Trinity Unleash Myth, Fire, and Truth on Metal Devastation Radio
There are interviews… and then there are conversations that feel like stepping into the heart of the underground itself. No script. No polish. Just real people talking about real music, real struggle, and the fire that keeps metal alive.
That’s exactly what went down when Broken Trinity joined Metal Devastation Radio live.
From the jump, the energy was genuine. No industry posturing, no fake hype. Just respect, gratitude, and a shared understanding of what this scene is really about.
“Man, we’re just… we’re over the moon. We’re just so grateful for everything you guys have done for us.”
That kind of appreciation says a lot. But it also set the tone for what followed. This wasn’t just about promoting a record. This was about the journey behind it.
Full Circle Through the Underground
Frontman Stephen Cannon isn’t new to the game. Far from it.
Before Broken Trinity, he spent decades on the other side of the fence as a journalist and radio host, documenting the very scene he’s now contributing to.
“I’ve been on the other side of the table… 32 years, interviewing and reviewing bands.”
That kind of history gives a different perspective. He’s lived the evolution of metal from multiple angles, and now he’s channeling all of it into something new.
There’s a sense of things coming full circle here. The fan becomes the creator. The journalist becomes the voice. And the result is something that carries weight.
The Sound: Blackened Doom With Teeth
Broken Trinity isn’t chasing trends. They’re carving their own lane.
Their sound blends black metal, death metal, and doom into something that feels both massive and deeply personal. Not just heavy for the sake of it, but layered with intention.
“We’ve got the brutality in spades… but I want more emotionally charged content.”
That balance is key. Crushing riffs meet atmosphere. Aggression meets meaning. It’s not just noise. It’s storytelling.
And that storytelling pulls from deep wells. Mythology, philosophy, and personal experience all collide inside their music.
Built on Loss, Forged in Fire
The roots of Broken Trinity trace back to a difficult chapter in Cannon’s life. And you can hear that weight in the music.
“That year was terrible for me… my dad had died, my girlfriend walked out, and I lost my job.”
Out of that chaos came creativity. Not calculated. Not forced. Just raw expression.
“I sat down with tears in my eyes… and wrote three pages of lyrics I can barely remember writing.”
That’s the kind of moment you can’t fake. And it’s exactly the kind of thing that gives metal its staying power.
No Rules. No Gatekeepers.
One of the most powerful parts of the conversation was the rejection of rigid labels and scene policing.
Metal has always thrived on rebellion, but somewhere along the line, gatekeepers tried to box it in.
Broken Trinity isn’t having it.
“If you’re a black metal band, you have to sing about Satan… no, you don’t.”
Instead, they’re pushing boundaries. Blending styles. Crossing lines. Doing exactly what metal was built to do in the first place.
“We’re trying to create something different… something new, something exciting.”
That mindset is what keeps the underground alive.
The Power of Raw vs. Polished
Another theme that came through loud and clear was the contrast between underground authenticity and overproduced mainstream metal.
“A lot of it sounds very processed… it takes away from that rawness.”
And they’re not wrong.
There’s something about the imperfections. The grit. The feeling that what you’re hearing wasn’t filtered through a corporate machine.
“Sometimes the only way to do something is to just do it… even if all you’ve got is a cheap amp and a drum machine.”
That DIY spirit is still the backbone of the scene. Always has been.
Metal Is a Lifelong Commitment
One thing that hit hard was the idea that metal isn’t just a phase. Never was.
“You don’t just get into it and get out of it… you stay in it.”
That’s the truth.
Metal sticks with you. It evolves with you. It becomes part of who you are. And whether you’re 17 or 50, that connection doesn’t go anywhere.
More Than Music
At its core, Broken Trinity is about more than riffs and vocals.
It’s about ideas.
It’s about pushing back.
It’s about finding meaning in chaos.
“There’s a whole world of history… philosophy… these make great metal topics.”
That’s where they stand apart. They’re not just making noise. They’re building something with depth.
What’s Next for Broken Trinity
The band isn’t slowing down.
They’ve got physical releases out, videos circulating, and more material on the way, including an upcoming EP with a concept that promises to turn heads.
“We’re happy to be here… happy to plant our flag on the landscape of metal.”
And that’s exactly what they’re doing.
Final Thoughts
This wasn’t just another radio interview. It was a reminder of why the underground still matters.
No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just passion, honesty, and a refusal to conform.
Broken Trinity represents that spirit in its purest form.
And if this conversation proved anything, it’s that metal is alive, evolving, and still dangerous in all the right ways.
So if you missed it live, do yourself a favor.
Turn it up loud.
Let it hit.
And remember why you got into this in the first place.

NICARUS UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE “DEGREE OF DONENESS” — A RAW, UNFILTERED SONIC EXPERIENCE FORGED IN REALITY - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NICARUS UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE “DEGREE OF DONENESS” — A RAW, UNFILTERED SONIC EXPERIENCE FORGED IN REALITY
Israel – Emerging from the underground with intensity, purpose, and zero compromise, one-woman force Nicarus returns with her latest single, “Degree Of Doneness,” out May 1, 2026 via GreenMuzic.
Blending post-grunge grit, stoner rock weight, blackened atmosphere, and alternative edge, Nicarus continues to carve her own lane with a sound that feels as unpredictable as it is deeply personal. Fans of Neurosis, Deftones, and Foo Fighters will find familiar ground here, but make no mistake, this is something entirely her own.
At its core, “Degree Of Doneness” is a reflection of pressure, survival, and transformation. It’s heavy, it’s honest, and it doesn’t hold your hand. This is music that hits you straight in the chest and lingers long after the final note fades.
Nicarus isn’t just another studio project. She’s a fully independent artist who has been building her vision since 2017, handling every aspect of her work from writing and performing to producing and engineering. Her journey has taken her across the globe, including recording drums at Electrical Audio in Chicago with Sanford Parker and sessions at Urban Sound Studio in Norway, all while continuing to shape her sound in her own GreenLab studio in Israel.
And here’s where it gets wild, she doesn’t just record everything herself, she performs it live too. Armed with full gear and amplifiers, Nicarus delivers a complete “one woman band” experience on stage, what she calls her “Re-Amping” live show. No backing band, no shortcuts, just pure, controlled chaos done the old-school way with real amps and real energy.
This new release arrives as she works on her upcoming sixth project, an EP written in just three days during a time of war in her home country. That urgency bleeds into everything she creates. One track from the project even incorporates a Persian poem as a tribute to the Iranian people and culture, pushing back against division through art and expression.
As one early statement puts it:
“Nicarus creates music that doesn't just ask to be heard, it demands to be felt. Her voice carries stories of resilience, transformation, and the courage to stand fully in your truth. The music reflects a very immediate and personal response to reality, capturing vulnerability, urgency, and resilience in a way that feels explosive and refreshingly real.”
With “Degree Of Doneness,” Nicarus proves she’s not here to follow trends or play it safe. She’s here to build something real, something loud, and something that matters.
“Degree Of Doneness” drops May 1, 2026.

SIGNO ROJO UNLEASHES CRUSHING NEW SINGLE “GROWTH” OUT APRIL 17, 2026 VIA MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN RECORDS - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SIGNO ROJO UNLEASHES CRUSHING NEW SINGLE “GROWTH” OUT APRIL 17, 2026 VIA MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN RECORDS
Karlshamn, Sweden’s underground heavyweights Signo Rojo return with a thunderous new statement in the form of their latest single, “Growth,” set for release on April 17, 2026 via Majestic Mountain Records .
For over fifteen years, Signo Rojo have been grinding their way through the depths of the Swedish underground, forging a sound that refuses to sit still. Blending the oppressive weight of sludge and doom with the raw urgency of hardcore and punk, the band has built a reputation the old-fashioned way: DIY, no shortcuts, no compromises. Their output may come slow, but when it lands, it hits like a collapsing glacier.
With “Growth,” Signo Rojo deliver exactly what you’d expect and then some. This is a mammoth, riff-driven assault packed with spine-rattling low end, towering melodies, and the kind of atmosphere that sticks to your ribs. Fans of Neurosis , Big Business , and Baroness will feel right at home, but make no mistake, Signo Rojo aren’t chasing anyone’s shadow. They’ve carved out their own lane and they’re driving straight through it.
Lyrically, “Growth” takes a hard look at modern society’s obsession with self-improvement. Instead of buying into the glossy, instant-gratification version being sold everywhere, the band flips the script. The track digs into how personal development has been commodified, turned into something people think they can purchase, hack, or shortcut. The result? More often than not, people end up stuck, misled, or worse, exploited by systems that prey on vulnerability.
In the band’s own words:
“‘Growth’ is a mammoth-stomping slab of doom-infused sludge that delivers spine-shaking riffs and soaring choruses.”
Behind the scenes, the band kept things tight and true to their roots. The single was produced by Signo Rojo themselves, with mixing and mastering handled by Elias Mellberg, giving the track a raw but massive sonic punch that feels both deliberate and unfiltered.
This release marks the beginning of a heavy onslaught from the band in 2026, with more material locked, loaded, and ready to fire. If “Growth” is any indication, Signo Rojo aren’t easing into anything, they’re kicking the door clean off the hinges.
Release Date: April 17, 2026
Label: Majestic Mountain Records
Genre: Sludge/Doom Metal, Hardcore

Haze Mage Unleashes Final Album High Fantasy Alongside Last-Ever Live Show - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Haze Mage Unleashes Final Album High Fantasy Alongside Last-Ever Live Show
Baltimore, MD – Haze Mage, the Baltimore-based purveyors of sword-and-sorcery doom metal, are set to release their highly anticipated full-length album High Fantasy on April 18, 2026. Coinciding with the album drop, the band will perform their final live show at The Ottobar during their signature Grim Reefer Fest, bringing six years of riff-driven fantasy metal to a triumphant close.
Since forming in late 2015, Haze Mage has forged a distinctive sound steeped in doom, stoner, and hard rock influences, drawing inspiration from legends such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden. Their music conjures vast dark forests, savage beasts, and haunting mystical realms, earning them a dedicated following in the Baltimore metal scene.
Haze Mage’s debut EP, Blood Mist (2017, Grimoire Records), was praised by outlets like The Obelisk , Worldwide Underground , and Heavy Planet for its atmospheric, psychedelic, and unforgettable sound. Over the years, the band has delivered commanding live performances at Artscape, Days of Darkness Festival (Maryland Death Fest), Shadow Woods Metal Fest, and Light City, while maintaining a strong presence at local venues including Metro Gallery, The Ottobar, Nevermore Hall, and Soundstage.
High Fantasy is an epic 9-track journey that represents the culmination of Haze Mage’s saga. As the band explains, “This album is the culmination of six years of songwriting through an ever-changing world of soaring victories, eternal struggles, and finding support in those around you when you need it most. It’s also about mysteriously magical weed shops and vampiric brains flying out of bodies and terrorizing villages at night.”
Recorded between January and March 2026 at Tiny Castle with producer, mixer, and mastering engineer Noel Mueller, and featuring artwork by John DeCampos/Ghost Bat Illustration, High Fantasy delivers the full Haze Mage experience in both sound and story.
The band lineup for this final chapter includes Kevin Considine (Guitar), Nick Jewett (Guitar), John De Campos (Drums), Scott Brenner (Bass), and Matthew Casella (Vocals). While Haze Mage will be taking an indefinite hiatus after April 18, they plan to continue Grim Reefer Fest, supporting the underground metal community they helped cultivate.
High Fantasy is available for pre-order now on Bandcamp:
