Pythonic has claimed the coveted title of Band of the Month for September 2024 on Metal Devastation Radio, triumphing in the Battle of the Bands competition with an impressive 113,367 votes. This victory marks a significant milestone for the Canadian metal outfit as they prepare to release their highly anticipated debut EP, titled EP 1, on September 27, 2024.

"Pythonic is ecstatic to finally be releasing our first set of recordings," says the band. "We have been working diligently over the years to perfect our craft and bring it to the masses. What our craft can be described as we have always left open to interpretation. We've heard wild claims from people over the years—'You sound like Bolt Thrower or Morbid Angel with clean vocals.' The one that resonates most with us, though, is being labeled as Groove Metal. We are a groovy bunch of dudes, and the music makes people move. Although it's a fairly ambiguous sub-genre, we don’t confine ourselves to any single style, leaving it open for us to produce any type of track we desire."
