Two underground metal releases earn a spot in Metal Injection’s latest weekly roundup of essential new music.
Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that two of its clients, Brazilian instrumental extreme metal outfit CARCERAL and progressive extreme metal band HELLUCINATION, have been featured in the latest edition of Metal Injection’s Weekly Injection of New Releases , spotlighting standout new music from across the metal underground.
CARCERAL appears with Descending Reprisal , their debut album blending death metal, thrash, and grindcore with technical precision, dissonant atmospheres, and relentless instrumental aggression. The album is out now on CD and digitally via I, Voidhanger Records.

HELLUCINATION earns a place on the list with Penumbral , a self-released concept album that combines death metal, black metal, progressive metal, djent, hardcore, and post-metal. Exploring grief, obsession, loss, and acceptance, the album pushes the band's sound into darker, more introspective territory, with production handled by Stefano Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio.
