Forged in mountain solitude, breathing with the wild — “An Ode To Solace” captures IATT in raw, primal form.
Philadelphia’s genre-defying extreme metal innovators IATT (pronounced “eye at”) return with their latest single, “An Ode To Solace” , a raw and emotionally charged journey through isolation, instinct, and the unfiltered creativity that has defined the band since their formation in 2008.
In the fall of 2024, IATT retreated to a secluded cabin deep in the mountains of Pennsylvania, fully disconnecting from the outside world to immerse themselves in the stillness of nature. Field recordings of wind threading through the trees and the calls of wildlife were woven directly into the track, giving the music a living, breathing quality that mirrors the wilderness itself.
The single is accompanied by a unique performance-meets-documentary style video filmed on location, offering an intimate glimpse into IATT’s creative process. “An Ode To Solace” stands as both a tribute to the primal forces of the natural world and a bridge into the next chapter of the band’s evolution.
