CULTIC UNLEASHES DUNGEON METAL ODYSSEY “LORE” – OUT OCTOBER 3RD, 2025
Yoe, PA – Dungeon Metal masters Cultic return with their third full-length album, Lore , dropping October 3rd, 2025 via Eleventh Key Records (pre-orders open now). This death/doom powerhouse draws fans of Winter, Celtic Frost/Hellhammer, and Conan into a dark fantasy world of barbarians, dragons, swords, and war axes.
Fusing extreme doom, first-wave black metal, punk energy, and haunting dungeon synth interludes, Lore tells a conceptual saga in reverse, with every riff, horn, and thunderous drumbeat pulling listeners deeper into Cultic’s shadowed universe. The album’s cover art continues a triptych from their previous releases, completing the immersive lore.
The opening track “Nomad” premiered via Decibel Magazine here , chronicling a lone warrior whose discovery of ancient secrets awakens dragons and sets kingdoms ablaze. Decibel calls Cultic’s style “dark dungeon metal,” a perfect label for a band that merges doom, black metal, and epic storytelling into one crushing package.
