A decade after its initial detonation in the underground, Compulsive Lies Repulsive Truths returns with a vengeance. Canadian death metal/deathcore hybrid Archaic Disease has unleashed the “Repulsive Redux” edition of their crushing debut, now available everywhere digitally via Repulsive Records .
Originally released on September 20, 2014 , this reimagined version marks its 10th anniversary with revitalized production from Drew Beckthold , delivering a sharper, more destructive sound while retaining the raw intensity that made it a cult favorite.
Archaic Disease was conceived in 2013 amidst the backdrop of humanitarian work with UNICEF Canada. What began as a chaotic fusion of metal influences soon evolved into a sonic force known for its unrelenting brutality, symphonic flair, and apocalyptic vision. After a decade in hibernation, the band has returned with sharpened claws and a renewed mission: to spread the New World Plague once more.
