Born with congenital heart disease, Palacio underwent open-heart surgeries as both a child and an adult while enduring profound personal loss and mental health struggles. Rather than allowing adversity to define him, he transformed those experiences into music that questions organized religion, political corruption, morality, and humanity's future.
