FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DayGlo Mourning Unleashes New Single "Rise of Kronos" from Upcoming Album Devourer
Release Date: October 25, 2024
Genre: Psychedelic Doom
For Fans of: Black Sabbath, Twin Wizard, Cosmic Reaper
Location: Atlanta, GA
Label: Dark Sails Entertainment
Atlanta’s doom metal trio DayGlo Mourning is set to unleash their crushing new single, "Rise of Kronos," on October 25, 2024. This track offers the first glimpse of their upcoming full-length album Devourer, showcasing the band’s signature mix of heavy, down-tuned riffs and psychedelic edge that fans of the genre have come to expect.
Formed in 2017, DayGlo Mourning quickly built a loyal following with their early releases, including the split album Rope Enough for Two, which they shared with Bludy Gyres on Black Doomba Records. Their 2021 debut album Dead Star solidified their reputation in the doom metal scene, blending crushing tones, melodic vocals, and sludgy distortion that resonates with fans of Black Sabbath, Twin Wizard, and Cosmic Reaper.
The upcoming single "Rise of Kronos" continues to expand on the band’s massive sound, featuring enormous riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and colossal soundscapes, while lyrically exploring themes inspired by ancient mythology. This release also marks their first under Dark Sails Entertainment, setting the stage for what promises to be a monumental next chapter in DayGlo Mourning’s journey.
Don’t miss the release of "Rise of Kronos" on October 25, available on all major streaming platforms, and stay tuned for more updates on the highly anticipated release of Devourer later this year!
