FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Post Death Soundtrack Unleashes New Album "Veil Lifter" – A Gritty Fusion of Doom, Grunge, and Thrash

Independent music duo Post Death Soundtrack (PDS) is thrilled to announce the release of their fourth full-length album, "Veil Lifter," now available on all major digital platforms. This album marks a bold departure from their previous work, embracing a raw, guitar-driven approach that seamlessly blends elements of doom, grunge, and thrash into a relentless auditory experience.

Following the sophisticated industrial soundscapes of their last album, "It Will Come Out of Nowhere," PDS returns to their musical roots with "Veil Lifter." Drawing inspiration from influential bands such as Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and The Stooges, the album also channels the innovative spirit of contemporary heavyweights like Windhand and Queens of the Stone Age. Across 10 tracks, "Veil Lifter" delivers sludgy riffs, hypnotic grooves, and hardcore fury, all set against a backdrop of empyrean ambience.

"Veil Lifter is the album I've always wanted to make," explains Stephen Moore, PDS’s vocalist and guitarist. "It’s a deep dive into the shadows of isolation, depression, and resilience. Written during periods of intense personal turmoil, this album serves both as a protective chant and a bold confrontation of inner demons."

The album’s themes are provocative and uncensored, delving into mental illness, spiritual warfare, and the quest for truth through a mix of heavy metaphor and dream-like imagery. The title, "Veil Lifter," is inspired by Eastern philosophy, symbolizing the journey to transcend ignorance and uncover intrinsic truths.

Jon Ireson, who handles bass, additional guitars, and production, shares insights into the album’s creation: "The raw bones of these songs formed quickly, capturing an organic live sound that’s new for us. Once we added Steve’s intense vocals and Casey Lewis’s dynamic drumming, the album truly came to life."

Adding to the excitement, Post Death Soundtrack has just released a killer new video for "Lowdown Animal" (Visual), offering a glimpse into the album’s gritty and immersive world.

"Veil Lifter" is dedicated to the memory of Moore’s father, Ted George Moore, and reflects a deeply personal tribute woven into the album’s fabric.
