No Clean Singing Spotlights Acerbic’s “Shallow Grave” Ahead of Debut EP Release
Olympia, WA – Pacific Northwest death-thrash unit Acerbic continue their fast climb through the underground with a new feature from respected extreme music outlet No Clean Singing , who showcased the band’s latest single “Shallow Grave” on their high-traffic platform this week.
In the feature, No Clean Singing praised the track’s hostile riff assault, guttural vocal delivery, and the band’s unhinged energy captured in a stark, woodsy performance video filmed by J. Donovan Malley . The outlet also highlighted the dynamic shift midway through the song, where a serpentine melodic motif adds an unexpected exotic flair and pushes the composition into more esoteric territory.
“Shallow Grave” will appear on Acerbic’s debut EP Abhorrent Atrocities Against All Humankind , set for a February 2026 release and featuring hand-painted cover artwork by illustrator Matt Stikker , whose previous work includes pieces for Power Trip, Exhumed, and Visigoth.
