The spectral winds of the Bavarian Forest howl once more as DRUDENSANG unleashes their latest full-length ritual, Geysterzvvang — now available via Folter Records , with cassette editions from Darkness Shall Rise Productions .
Born from the ancient traditions and infernal folklore of Bavaria and Austria, DRUDENSANG channels the terror of the Krampus , Perchten , and the cursed Rauhnächte (Twelve Nights) into a sonic tempest of raw black metal fury. Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Ravnsvart by visionary Krámpn , the band has evolved from primal beginnings into a fully realized force of ritualistic blackened worship.
Geysterzvvang (an archaic word evoking "ghost compulsion") is a violent, atmospheric offering that delves deep into Bavarian mysticism, devil worship, and night-witch legends. Recorded at Klangschmiede Studio E and produced by Markus Stock , the album embodies both feral aggression and ghostly grandeur — the perfect soundtrack to spectral hunts and morbid revelry.
DRUDENSANG’s reputation for blood-soaked, corpse-smeared live performances — alongside legends like Watain , Taake , Belphegor , and Crimson Moon — continues to grow, and Geysterzvvang is a definitive statement of their dark intent.
