Chris Maragoth Releases New Single "Bury My Remains" Featuring Aeon of Awareness

German solo artist Chris Maragoth has unleashed his latest single, "Bury My Remains," a powerful collaboration with members of the melodic death metal band Aeon of Awareness. The track is now available on all major streaming services, media stores, and Bandcamp.

"Bury My Remains" showcases Maragoth's signature blend of melodic metal, metalcore, and melodic death metal, drawing influences from bands like Trivium, Dark Tranquility, and At the Gates. The song features lyrics and main guttural vocals by Per Lümbersson, with backing guttural vocals by Erik Schuetz, both of Aeon of Awareness.

The lyrics of "Bury My Remains" delve into the turmoil of questioning established ideals and belief systems. The protagonist of the song grapples with the realization that these constructs are mutable, leading to a tumultuous mix of emotions such as anger, fear, and pain. Ultimately, the song portrays the liberation from self-imposed constraints that no longer hold true.

In addition to the single release, a captivating music video, directed by independent filmmaker Olga Kann, has also been unveiled on YouTube. The visual representation perfectly complements the intense and thought-provoking themes of the song.
