"We called this song Lullaby because it’s about our duty to guard always the dreams of our beloved ones that seem so fragile and delicate. The song surprisingly conveys a combination of furious strength and incredible tenderness. By sound this song is close to Crematory with some vibes of Mudvayne. With a powerful and modern guitar riff and beautiful melody, supported of strings, this song has great energy in combination with romantic vibes." Lullaby by Cynik Scald LULLABY (Lyrics) You’re my little angel, I’m your guarding demon. Whoever tries to hurt you Will be swept away by my rage. Close your eyes, darling, Be afraid of nothing. I’ll leave the fairytale book Opened at your favorite page. And even when I’m gone forever I’ll still be getting back to you in your dreams, I’ll still be your personal guarding demon Protecting you from any evil and sins. Pre chorus Darling, hug your pillow and sleep. May your dreams be so gentle and deep. Close your eyes, darling, and please sleep tight. May you cradle be blessed with the starlight. Chorus Waking up at your darkest night I’ll stand straight in your doorways. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. Waking up at your darkest night I’ll take away all your sorrows. I’ll be there by your side Always, always. Waking up at your darkest night I’ll stand straight in your doorways. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. I’ve been through many fights I have enough of scars I have enough of skills To protect you from your nightmares. So sleep well, honey, Stay calm, stay brave, For God always supports Only the one who dares. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. credits released November 27, 2020 CYNIK SCALD is a multicultural Heavy Metal/Melodic Metal/PowerMetal/Metalcore band with their own original lyrics and music. Cynik Scald’s music has its own sound which can be described as an exciting mixture of heavy metal and folk songs with a pinch of industrial/power metal and a flavor of Viking Metal/DeathMetalcore tunes. Their music is similar to CREMATORY, MUDVAYNE, GHOST, ALESTORM, AMON AMARTH and some vibes of LAMB OF GOD, MOTÖRHEAD. Check out these singles the band previously released! 1. ASGARD. This song sounds like modern viking metal. The main character of the song is today’s person living regular life, who has lost his identity and he is trying to find himself in the world. This song has heavy, mostly Death Metal/Metalcore sound, influenced by LAMB OF GOD, AMON AMARTH. 2. STORM featuring famous power heavy metal vocalist URBAN BREED! The song contains an exciting combination of two great voices - one deep, powerful, harsh voice of our lead vocalist and one of the best heavy metal vocalists, tenor Urban Breed. The Storm is a legendary pirate flagship's song about the battle against a powerful and unbridled storm. Will Queen Anne's Revenge be able to win, break through this wild storm? This song is more Melodic Power Metal/Pirate Metal, influenced by ALESTORM, GHOST, SERIOUS BLACK, POWERWOLF etc. Cynik Scald’s debut album "AGED SPIRIT" was released at the end of 2019. Recently some of songs from the album were added to some top Spotify metal and rock playlists. Two most popular songs from album are: 'When the sun goes down' – Motorbike Road song, all filled of the spirit of Freedom and Harley Davidson. Sounds a bit country Metal with reference to Cowboy movies of 70-s. Bloggers about this song: “it’s a hard rock fusion that even allows a blues section on the bridge. A song to listen to while you travel to the nearest motor-meeting!”. Reference for this song is Motörhead. 'Silent Rainbow' is more Metalcore/Rap Metal. The song is about all people life that they just waste, but all the time above them there is Silent Rainbow, that watching them with love. Influenced by Ghost, Crematory. Curse Of Eibon - Book Of Eibon - Reviewed By Full Metal Mayhem! - @thebeast

Curse Of Eibon - Book Of Eibon - Reviewed By Full Metal Mayhem ! check it out here at this link: https://lorenzvangore.wixsite.com/fullmetalmayhem/post/curse-of-eibon-mit-book-of-eibon Other releases by the band: This is their first EP from which two singles have been released.  How did I get to know the band: Again it was the Metal Devastation Radio that got me here. The title as "Occult Death Metal" was enough to get me going for a review. How do I find the record: I really like what we're listening to now, and you guys?  BOOK OF EIBON opens the album first with quiet electric guitars but soon afterwards the song gets more serious. The whole thing sounds a bit like Dethklok which I like pretty much. In between there are also occasional uses of a synth, which gives the whole thing a nice mystical note. All in all a successful mid-tempo track that is easy to listen to. DAGON starts very calmly, but then it turns into a bone-dry Death Metal song. The bass growls nicely under the guitar and the vocals, where they were reminiscent of Dethklok before, have their own, much drier sound that makes the whole thing a little more threatening. SEEK TO DESTROY begins with chorales, which are soon followed by a maddening Death Metal song. They do appear in the song every now and then, but here there is no trumpet, instead it is cut with all its might. I really like the trick. TSATHOUGGAN is in the same vein as Dagon, only here I like the drumming a little better. Here, too, things are moving forward and pretty heavy. So far not a bad song on the EP, let's see if it stays that way. ATHU ends the EP with an initially quite dark song, which then turns into pure aggression. Well kept in the mid-tempo, with worn passages. You can give yourself a try. Towards the end there are also a few oriental sounds on the ears. Conclusion: The Swedes have not forgotten Death Metal. This is proof that there are still great new bands out there that want ass-kicking Death and can do it. Heavily inspired by HP Lovecraft and the occult and things that lurk in the dark. Empyrean Fire - Deliverance - Reviewed By Rough Edge! - @thebeast

MDPR Clients: Empyrean Fire - Deliverance - Reviewed By Rough Edge ! Check it out here at this link: http://roughedge.com/cdreviews/e/empyreanfire.htm "Deliverance," from Portland's Empyrean Fire, is a sweeping, black metal epic. With its crushing riffs, its pummeling percussion and its vast atmosphere, this album will roll over you like a fiery lava flow. After a first track that sounds like something from an apocalyptic movie score, "Deliverance" kicks in with the appropriately entitled "Gathering Storm." The song does just that ... gathers like a storm ... and delivers a punishing set up for the rest of the album. And I don't mean to say that the rest of the album all sounds the same because it doesn't. One of the things that works so well about "Deliverance" is the variety of tempos, vocals and sonic atmosphere in each track. Even more impressive is the fact that "Deliverance" is a concept album. According to the band's Facebook page, Deliverance is "mainly based off the poem written from John Milton, 'Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained,' originally published in 1667. 'Deliverance' is a sinister take on Milton's work, reshaping it with harrowing twists and malevolent revelations, each chapter a battle in the dragon's ascent to gain command over Hell on Earth. Will you bow down in battle, sunken before the spear?" Now, I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and listen to this record while reading along with the lyrics but I can tell you can tell by the music alone that a story is being told here. The tracks on "Deliverance" feel like chapters of a book.  It's hard to put a finger on favorite tracks here because "Deliverance" feels like it should only be reviewed in its entirety, but I will say that  "Perdition" stands out with its steely intro and powerful driving rhythm. And the tracks which feature a multitude of vocal styles, including monster growls, clean vocals and female vocals, tend to grab the attention as well. "Deliverance" is Empyrean Fire's first album and they pretty much knocked it out of the park. Fans of symphonic black metal, especially the Scandinavian style, will find plenty to like here. The concept behind "Deliverance" was ruminated upon for years by front woman, Tricia Myers, after reading Milton's "Paradise Lost" and "Paradise Regained." Wail (Norway) - Civilization Maximus - Reviewed By Power Metal! - @thebeast

MDPR Clients: Wail (Norway) - Civilization Maximus - Reviewed By Power Metal ! check it out here at this link: http://powermetal.de/review/review-Wail/Civilization_Maximus,37552.html Keep your swords stuck, these Norwegians just want to have fun! Watch out, satire! The self-proclaimed "cultist of cultist cult bands" does not make it easy for the listener at first contact. After the first listening impression, everything seems to be as usual, but one only realizes that WAIL is undoubtedly extremely talented musicians who leave a very positive impression with "Civilization Maximus". But that doesn't seem to really interest this quintet. The promo letter as well as various comments on the formation's website rather show that WAIL takes neither the scene itself nor the music itself really seriously. It remains to be seen whether this will make friends everywhere. But since the band doesn’t take themselves to the full, the satirical-ironic approach is forgiven them, because after all, as a metal fan of WAIL you not only feel ripped off, but - if you can do something with this kind of humor can - entertain well. That definitely applies to the songs, because the musicians, who include the two former FATAL IMPACT colleagues Thor B. Gundersen (guit.) And Anders Nesset (bass), don't leave any doubts about their craftsmanship for a second . Just as little about the fact that they graduated from the "old school" and especially the NWoBHM (in the main subject, so to speak) with honors. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that "Civilization Maximus" came out of the boxes with a proper MAIDEN list from the start. This is not only evident through the tasteful guitar work by Andres and his colleague Kim-Ruben Sletten, beyond any doubt, but "The Singer" (!) Also lets his vocal cords sound like the young Bruce Dickinson. So far, so good, but unfortunately a certain showmanship cannot be denied in his performance either. Now and then Joakim Jøreng, as the boy is called in middle-class life, torments himself literally in high altitude regions that don't really contribute to a harmonious appearance of the respective song. Since his lecture also fits the tongue-in-cheek lyrics ('Overwhelmed'), the exaggerated manner of presentation should also be part of the satire image chosen by the band. So it is quite possible that WAIL will be able to draw attention to itself especially in the fan base of relevant formations such as NANOWAR OF STEEL. However, since the band knows how to provide high-quality metal food, contemporaries who are not invariably interested in "Gaudi" and generally not immediately drawn to their swords should not concern themselves with this album when satirical swipes at metal. Grade: 7.50 Introducing new release for possible review / interview / radio coverage or any other kind of appearance on your website / radio show.  FFO: Ghost, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Candlemass Satire. A word that lost it's weight the day the world became so obscure that yesterday's satirical content became the news of the day. It’s time to step up the game. Enter Wail The cultiest of cultist cult bands, a Norwegian heavy metal quintet best known as preachers of the 'apocalypse of the civilized world' as well as being observed claiming responsibility for catastrophes such as global warming, epidemics and commercial radio. They seem to be using their mesmerizing heavy metal music to lure young and old into their cultist organization. A spokesman of the group has been quoted with the following comment regarding the choice of musical direction: "I’m intelligent. Some people would say I’m very, very, very intelligent. According to my research, heavy metal is the most commercially available, sexy and danceable genre out there. It was quite obvious really". The band has been nurtured, cultivated and refined to be able to write, perform and seduce on a level that few can assert to. This under close observation of the terrifying and quite flamboyant front man that goes under the name «The Singer». Wail has been getting recognition as a hard working live band on both festival and club scenes, and the response is usually in the vein of 'International standard' and 'who or what the hell are these people?'. The group prefer not to discuss the latter. The dust has just settled after their debut album «Resilient» 2018. Produced by Kjartan Hestehaugen and Ronni Le Tekrø (TNT).  The follow up album, produced by Titan Labs studio/Riccardo Daga «Civilization Maximus» features 9 tracks circulating a theme of manipulation/indoctrination as the band ventures deeper into the antagonistic rabbit hole.  Wail has been getting recognition as a hard working live band on both festival and club scenes, and the response is usually in the vein of 'International standard' and 'who or what the hell are these people?'. The group prefer not to discuss the latter. Get ready to rejoice in salvation, tribalism and an oblique glance at extremism.   You are hereby invited to partake in song, a secret, a promises of eternal life, presented by the masterful crossroad salesmen of Wail whom might not be as glamorous as they make themselves out to be. How Rock and Metal Music Features in the Gaming Industry - @thebeast

Background music plays an integral part in how people experience things. One great example of this would be how the Star Wars movies play our emotions like a fiddle with their use of a soaring orchestral soundtrack during pivotal scenes.  You can also see this when listening to an opera singer perform. Even if you don’t understand the words to a song, you can still feel the emotions the singer is trying to convey. Guest author Kevin Cochran looks at the impact of rock and heavy metal on the gaming industry. Find out more about Kevin Cochran here . Leveraging Rock and Heavy Metal Music Classical music has for a long time played a major role in the gaming industry in Canada; it is only in the past few decades that developers have experimented with rock and metal music. Rock and metal music is a relatively newer genre, one that grew as a reaction against mainstream music in the early 1950s. Earlier fantasy-themed games had no use for such fast-paced music. However, now that the market has been flooded with a broader scope of games, developers are finding out that rock and metal music serves as a perfect backdrop for fast-paced games.  Online casinos in Canada have taken advantage of this effect by offering more and more games that use rock and metal themes. At the same time, casino game developers have noticed this trend and started employing more hard-core choices into their industrial video game soundtracks. Canadian players love spinning the reels on rock metal slots. If you are looking for a great selection of rock and metal-themed games, check out Mr Play Casino . Let’s take a look at three of the biggest ways that the gaming industry is making use of rock and metal music. Rock and Metal Music Amps Up Aggression A lot of games depend on how Canadian players react and end up playing the game. With the right background music, developers can nudge users toward specific inputs or clue them into the specific feelings they want to evoke in certain parts. Music helps players get in the mood to game. Researchers believe that, without background music, Canadian gamers won’t be able to immerse themselves completely into the game. This allows gamers’ own emotional states to impinge on the gaming experience. While this can be good if a gamer is energized and motivated to play, some gamers in Canada play to escape their emotional states. If a gamer is in a bad mood, allowing them to bring in their negative thoughts can hamper their experience of the game. If you really want someone to have an adrenalin rush, letting them listen to bands like Slayer and Anthrax will get the job done. Rock and Metal Music Leads to Excitement Rock and metal music is a great antidote for lethargy. This music is very popular with gym rats that are looking to pump themselves up before a heavy lifting session at the gym. This kind of music can also be helpful for getting players pumped up. Rock and metal music helps amp up players for more action, getting them into the mood to play more and keep going. You can be tired after a long day of work, hoping to play just a few spins before going to bed, and suddenly feel enervated after a few minutes of listening to classic Pantera or Metallica .  This is one of the reasons why a number of slot developers are bringing out metal- and rock-themed slot games. Rock and Metal Music Fits the Pace of Slots We can spend a long time theorizing about why rock and metal music fits the gaming industry well, but the simple fact of the matter is that this kind of music is perfect for the fast-paced action slots offer. It’s not a surprise that rock music-themed slots are beginning to gain more prominence in the field. There really is no better time to be a heavy metal and slots fan than now. Big-time developers such as Netent have their own line of rock music-themed slot games that utilize music from the genre’s biggest stars. Some examples of licensed rock slots games are Guns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix , and Megadeth. There are also metal video game offerings such as Astro Legends: Lyra and Erion, House of Doom, and Rockstar, which has our vote for one of the best metal soundtracks inside or outside of the gaming world. Winning a slot jackpot feels more rewarding when rock and metal music is playing in the background. We fully expect this trend to continue for the next few years, as there are still many sub-genres of rock and metal that have been unexplored in the gaming world. Conclusion There are not a lot of rock and heavy metal games in the market as of now. One fix is to plug in your headphones, hit your favorite metal playlist and then play any games with your own background music going.
