Detachment - "Work Horse" - Streaming On ATX Metal Podcast! Check it out here at this link: http://www.atxmetalpodcast.com/podcasts For fans of: Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose, Norma Jean, Code Orange With covid canceling all of their plans, Long Island NY based hardcore act Detachment did the only thing they knew how to - write and create. This newest single release “Work Horse” is the fruit of that labor. Detachment (known originally as “From Hollow Veins”) is the Hardcore group to look out for on Long Island, NY. They have been bringing their unique style and electrifying live performances to their local scene and the region as a whole since 2015. In the fall of 2016, they shared the stage with bands such as Cane Hill and Sworn in, to the praise of both groups. A couple of months later they signed with The Sights Set North agency to get some true touring experience. September of 2017 they released their single entitled “Self Doubt” which received raving reviews and was featured in AP’s Spotify playlist. nearing the end of 2017, with all of the experience they gained, they made the decision to change the band name to Detachment. They took the remaining year off from touring and playing shows to write and record their debut EP. In October of 2018 Detachment released their debut single, “Million Eyes” which was praised by websites such as Vents Magazine, Metal Nerd, Distrolution and Rock N Load magazine. That year they played shows opening for Cane Hill, Traitors and The Last Ten Seconds of Life to name a few. In 2020 they released their debut EP featuring 7 tracks showcasing their individuality, energy and talent. "These guys channel caustic energy wrapped up in some buzzing hardcore guitars and soaring, melodic vocals." - Pure Grain Audio "The band has gone about spreading their explosive and visceral brand of hardcore across much of the east coast" - Vents Magazine "Latest track, Million Eyes, their first as Detachment, showcases an astute balance of melody and aggression whilst displaying thunderous guitars, engaging vocals and a raw accessibility." - Rock N Load Magazine Follow them at these links: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7BEx9zaG66Z1Ft2gAp1a0A Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/detachmentny/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/detachment_band/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe9lOILJnQWicxcrxVTYbiA http://www.detachmentband.com/

PULSE: “Adjusting The Space” (2020) - Reviewed By Rocka Rolla Web Zine! - @thebeast

PULSE: “Adjusting The Space” (2020) - Reviewed By Rocka Rolla Web Zine! Check it out here at this link: https://rockarollazine.blogspot.com/2020/10/pulse-adjusting-space-2020-nrt-records.html 1. Points Of Nibiru 11. The Passage Entry 12. Major Tom 13. AlienAngel (Zardonic Remix) Interesting, and to a certain extent novel, I work on this “Adjusting the space”, which Pulse offers us. And who are Pulse? Apparently under that name hides the band led by the Austrian Nemesis, known mainly for his black band Astaroth, and from the start we must recognize a capacity to go beyond simple self-copying since it sounds quite personal as a whole, although in certain moments can remember diverse and varied bands. As a solo project, Nemesis has a more or less stable band at its command, but it also has a varied cast of guest musicians who add nuances to this album. Focusing on music, this “Adjusting the space” is a strange concept album about aliens, outer space, intergalactic travel and the future of the human race escaping from Earth in search of a new world, a story that I personally I find it a bit ridiculous and that the album cover does not help me see with better eyes. However, this is one of those albums that is worth listening to focusing exclusively on music and forgetting these aspects at the end and the secondary ends. And you have to admit it: it's a good album. I'm not sure if it really achieves the unitary effect that an album of these characteristics requires, but the songs are well composed, well executed, well produced. That is the essential. Perhaps because of its theme, the album begins by reminding me of Powerman 5000 (Spider's group, Rob Zombie's brother and with a similar theme), but there is more, much more, since as the album passes other influences (Fear Factory, Johnny Violent, Rammstein, Pain) appear one dropper, resulting in interesting work from beginning to end. And it is something that is not found every day. Website: www.pulse-galaxy.com (JS) PULSE act with their new Cyber Future Metal Single “New Elastic Freak” along with its music video in a bizarre interplay between sexual disorder and alien-obduction Last Week, the release of the new PULSE single “ New Elastic Freak ” is the third one taken from the brilliant Cyber Future Metal album “ Adjusting The Space ”, to be released via NRT-Records on November 6th, 2020. The ambiguous “ New Elastic Freak ” is about a psychopathic sexual disorder with a sex doll resp. the examination of a dead alien body. This ecstatically intense single is not only recommended to fans of Rammstein , Pain or The Kovenant . Now, get captivated by the galactic overlords’ PULSE with their brand-new Sci-Fi music video and its bizarre interplay of dark live scenes and strange alien sequences: The brand new PULSE single “New Elastic Freak” with the excellent cover by Illustrator Nurul Hidayat is now available as a third cosmic foretaste of the upcoming album at the following download stores and streaming services: Amazon (DE) | Amazon (US) | Spotify | Apple Music & iTunes | Deezer | Tidal | Qobuz | YouTube Music Founded in 2014 by Nemesis , the mastermind of the Austrian Black Metal band Astaroth , PULSE quickly laid the foundation for the crossbreeding of Cyberpunk and Metal . With their 2015 debut album “ Extinction Level Event ”, released through CCP Records , they left a lasting impression on the Gothic , Electro and Metal scene. Besides vocalist and guitarist Nemesis , bassist Vidar , drummer Pulsar and guitarist Dom are members of the PULSE squad to bring the sound of their home planet closer to mankind. With futuristic drum sounds, heavy guitars and a scratchy diabolical voice that fits the alien overlord image well, the Austrians create a brute, yet incredibly dance-able Industrial Electro Metal sound that is well suited for the extra-terrestrial conquerors. Live on stage they already left their extraterrestrial traces on the Schattenwelt Festival in Vienna or the legendary Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. After numerous concerts, it was time to ring in the next phase of the terrestrial conquest and so PULSE retreated to CCP Studio in late summer 2019 to produce “Adjusting The Space” with Claus Prellinger (Dornenreich, Jack Frost, Thirdmoon). Coming from Industrial Cyber Metal and blowing fresh wind into this genre, PULSE release an album that will not only convince fans of the Industrial scene. The single “ Black Night ”, “ We Won’t Come In Peace ” and today’s “ New Elastic Freak ” give you an idea of what kind of cosmic masterpiece you can look forward to in early November. Welcome our new intergalactic overlords! “Adjusting The Space” featuring the distinctive artwork of Richard Touzimsk and its thirteen songs can already be pre-ordered at the following stores: Amazon (DE) | Nuclear Blast | Thalia | Saturn | Media Markt | Buecher.de | Weltbild | JPC | WOM | Grooves | MyMediaWelt.de | CeDe | ExLibris | Amazon (US) | MVD | Record Store Day | Craft & Vinyl | Vintage Vinyl | FYE | ElectricFetus.com | Barnes & Noble | Plastic Head | Fnac | iMusic.dk | SuperShop.sk | Google Play | Qobuz Find out more about Pulse at these links: Web: https://www.pulse-galaxy.com Infopage + Audio: https://nrt-records.com/info/pulse/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pulseaustria/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pulseaustria/

New Promo: Cynik Scald - Storm / Asgard - (Heavy Metal) - @thebeast

CYNIK SCALD METAL BAND is the multicultural Heavy Metal/Melodic Metal/PowerMetal/Metalcore band with own original lyrics and music. Cynik Scald’s music has its own sound which can be described as an exciting mixture of heavy metal and folk songs with a pinch of industrial/power metal and flavor of Viking Metal/DeathMetalcore tunes. Their music is similar to CREMATORY, MUDVAYNE, GHOST, ALESTORM, AMON AMARTH and some vibes of LAMB OF GOD, MOTÖRHEAD. 1. ASGARD. This song sounds like modern viking metal. The main character of the song is today’s person living regular life, who has lost his identity and he is trying to find himself in the world. This song has heavy, mostly Death Metal/Metalcore sound, influenced by LAMB OF GOD, AMON AMARTH. 2. STORM featuring famous power heavy metal vocalist URBAN BREED! The song contains an exciting combination of two great voices - one deep, powerful, harsh voice of our lead vocalist and one of the best heavy metal vocalists, tenor Urban Breed. The Storm is a legendary pirate flagship's song about the battle against a powerful and unbridled storm. Will Queen Anne's Revenge be able to win, break through this wild storm? This song is more Melodic Power Metal/Pirate Metal, influenced by ALESTORM, GHOST, SERIOUS BLACK, POWERWOLF etc. Website: www.cynik-scald.com Social Media: FB page https://www.facebook.com/CynikScald Instagram https://www.instagram.com/cynikscald/ Twitter https://twitter.com/CynikScald Spotify https://open.spotify.com/artist/28PVchMtv3S4Vfp8oLYYWD

He Who Binds Himself (HWBH) is a Death Metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2004 by vocalist Nathan Gearhart (vocals, ex-Vehemence, ex-Unholy Monarch ). Upon switching their name from He Who Binds Himself to Nefaricede in 2008 and resurrected back to He Who Binds Himself in 2010 with a new line-up; Mark Kozuback on bass (ex-Vehemence, ex-Abigail Williams, ex-Reign of Vengeance, ex-Mistaken Identity, ex-Revolution, ex-The Symmetry in Chaos) and Andy Schroeder on drums (ex-Vehemence, ex-Abigail Williams, ex-Mistaken Identity, ex-Revolution, ex-The Symmetry in Chaos) the low end and rhythm section comes into HWBH as an already established and well-oiled machine. Originally, Gabe Oso (ex-Inducing Terror, ex-Ritual Autopsy, ex-Invading Uranus) was the bassist (2004-2010) and switched over to guitars in 2010, and joining in 2008, guitarist Steven Jasinski (ex-Autumn's End, ex-Eroticide, ex-Reign of Vengeance); both provide a range of technical, death, thrash, and groove metal riffage with a destructive edge that would strike a nerve.  In 2014, two one track demos “The Worthless Altar” and “March of the Bastards” and in 2019 an extended four track demo entitled “Demo 2014” were released; their old-school influence of metal was apparent in He Who Binds Himself's initial work and soon embarked their style which the band adopted positively. Their four track demo “Demo 2014”, received positive thoughts and verbal reviews by fans within the region which spurred the band to work on their self-title debut album.   He Who Binds Himself signed to Metal Devastation Records ( https://www.metaldevastation.com) for the distribution of their immense self-titled debut album, “He Who Binds Himself”, released on January 7th, 2020 digitally and May 24th, 2020 on Physical CD (CD release delayed due to COVID19 pandemic). The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Villain Recording ( http://www.villainrecording.com), Phoenix Arizona and was engineered by the owner Byron Filson except the bass tracks and guitar solo for "Alone And Suffering" which was recorded at Mass Insanity Productions, LLC ( http://www.massinsanity.com) and by owner/engineer Steven M. Jasinski; the production reflects the best qualities of recorded material found in the Death Metal genre of today.   He Who Binds Himself, is not loath to venture into undesirable obscure matters that focuses on the horrors of everyday atrocity as a platform for lyrical content. Their sound is a blend of diverse musical influences from various styles ranging from technical, thrash metal, old school death metal, and even groove metal that consists of technical guitar riffs, vindictive drumming, pounding bass lines and vehement vocals which has created catchy memorable songs that intrigue the listeners of all metal genres.   Having their self-titled debut album, He Who Binds Himself, played consistently throughout radio stations worldwide, ever since the band’s inception, including the most reputable Radio Stations, DJ’s and Fanzines in the Underground Scene, who have given them high praise such as, "one of the most efficacious and influential Death Metal bands of 2020 who has unleashed an old school death metal style with melodic, brutal, and technical overtones that should be heard, recognized, and complimented to the laity".
