TITAN BLOOD Unleashes New Single “Unite Them” Ahead of Upcoming Album When the Tide Subsides - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TITAN BLOOD Unleashes New Single “Unite Them” Ahead of Upcoming Album When the Tide Subsides

Traditional, Power & Progressive Metal Project Releases First Single From Third Full-Length Album

September 11, 2026 — TITAN BLOOD , the metal project led by songwriter, keyboardist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tony Rowe , has officially unleashed the new single “Unite Them.” The track serves as the opening song and first single from the upcoming third TITAN BLOOD album, When the Tide Subsides , arriving September 14, 2026 .

Blending the epic traditions of classic heavy metal with the melodic power of power metal and the ambition of progressive metal, TITAN BLOOD creates music for listeners who appreciate soaring melodies, powerful vocals, driving riffs, and stories that reach beyond the standard metal formula.

Fans of Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, and Sabaton will find plenty to sink their teeth into.

“Unite Them” features Craig Cairns on vocals , Simon Christie on guitars , and Aleks Dolgy on bass , alongside Tony Rowe's keyboards, programming, songwriting, and production. The track marks Simon Christie's debut performance with TITAN BLOOD , while welcoming back Cairns and Dolgy, who previously appeared on the project's 2023 album, The Call of the Wild .

“The first single and album opener ‘Unite Them’ is as fierce as it is familiar, with return performances from Craig Cairns (vocals) and Aleks Dolgy (bass), and a debut performance with TITAN BLOOD from Simon Christie (guitars). The album reflects on stories that have had some influence in my life, from fantasy novels to retelling of lived experiences.”

When the Tide Subsides continues Tony Rowe's ongoing journey of writing and producing metal on his own terms. Rather than functioning as a traditional band with a fixed lineup, TITAN BLOOD has evolved into an international collaborative project, bringing together musicians from different corners of the globe to bring Rowe's compositions to life.

“TITAN BLOOD never formed, it only flows.”

That philosophy has been at the heart of the project since its beginning. A self-taught keyboardist, Rowe originally focused on writing his own material for the simple satisfaction of creating music. After struggling to establish a local band due to differences in musical tastes and direction, he turned to the internet to find musicians who shared his vision.

That search eventually connected him with vocalist Nicholas Allaire of ANTIOCH in Canada and guitarist Steven Miller in the United States, resulting in the recording of TITAN BLOOD's self-titled debut album in 2020. Bassist Klaus Müller of Germany later joined the collaboration, contributing bass, mixing, and mastering to the record.

The project's sophomore album, The Call of the Wild , followed in 2023 and featured Craig Cairns on vocals, Aleks Dolgy on bass, returning guitarist Steven Miller, and Rowe taking over mixing and mastering duties himself.

Over the following years, Rowe continued writing material despite changes within the collaborative lineup. When Steven Miller's involvement subsided, leaving a guitar-shaped hole in the project, Rowe continued moving forward. In 2025, guitarist Simon Christie joined TITAN BLOOD to contribute guitar performances to When the Tide Subsides .

The result is the third TITAN BLOOD release, a collection inspired by fantasy literature, society, culture, and personal experiences.

With “Unite Them” now available , TITAN BLOOD opens the next chapter with a track that combines classic metal spirit with a modern independent approach to songwriting and production.

MEGATON COMMUNION RELEASE NEW ALBUM THREE OF CUPS VIA BLACK DOOMBA RECORDS - @thebeast

MEGATON COMMUNION RELEASE NEW ALBUM THREE OF CUPS VIA BLACK DOOMBA RECORDS

Cleveland Heavy Rock Trio Unleash Their Atmospheric New Full-Length Alongside Official Video For “Echoes In Time”

Cleveland, Ohio heavy rock trio Megaton Communion have officially released their new full-length album, Three of Cups , today, September 11, 2026 , via Black Doomba Records .

The band is marking the album's release with the official music video for “Echoes in Time,” giving listeners another look into the darker, more introspective side of the band's latest material.

Three of Cups expands on Megaton Communion's signature blend of massive hard rock riffs, hypnotic rhythms, desert-rock atmosphere, and melodic songwriting. The album explores themes of resilience, growth, friendship, memory, loss, hope, and overcoming adversity, bringing together a collection of songs that balance crushing weight with a strong emotional undercurrent.

“Echoes in Time” is a particularly reflective moment on the album, exploring memory, distance, loss, and the uneasy feeling of watching the past slowly drift further away. The song ultimately arrives at a choice between holding onto hope or surrendering to the darkness.

“A glimpse of hope for another day
A glimpse of pain don't want to stay
A ray of light all around
Or sit in darkness without a sound”

Musically, the track showcases the expansive side of Megaton Communion while maintaining the band's heavy foundation. Fans of Soundgarden, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and Tool will find plenty to dig into throughout Three of Cups .

The album follows the release of “Evil Speak,” which arrived as the record's first single on July 24 and offered the first taste of Megaton Communion's latest chapter. With the full album now available, listeners can experience the complete progression of Three of Cups from beginning to end.

Megaton Communion was formed in late 2022 by lifelong friends Derrick on guitar, Ryan on drums, and Joe on bass and vocals. The trio quickly established themselves within Cleveland's underground rock scene through dynamic songwriting and immersive live performances. Following Ryan's departure in March 2025, Ken Gosselin joined the band on drums, bringing renewed energy to the lineup.

Three of Cups was produced by Curran Murphy at Custom Audio Mutation Studio , where the band shaped their latest material into a powerful and emotionally resonant full-length.

With the album now officially released, Megaton Communion continue carving out their own space within the heavy rock underground. Three of Cups is dark without being hopeless, melodic without sacrificing its weight, and driven by the kind of huge riffs that demand to be played loud.

MÖTLEY CRÜE RELEASES PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED 1981 DEMO ‘NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE LONELY’ - @thebeast

Mötley Crüe has released a previously unreleased 1981 demo of "Nobody Knows What It's Like To Be Lonely," offering fans an early glimpse into the band's formative days in Los Angeles.

The track comes from the band's March 1981 demo sessions and will be included on an upcoming 45th-anniversary deluxe limited-edition box set celebrating Mötley Crüe's classic debut album, Too Fast For Love. The collection is due October 30.

An official video for "Nobody Knows What It's Like To Be Lonely" has also been released.

Originally self-released through Mötley Crüe's own Leathür Records label in November 1981, Too Fast For Love was initially pressed in a limited run of just 900 LPs. The band's growing reputation on the Los Angeles club scene soon attracted major-label attention, leading to a deal with Elektra Records in early 1982.

Elektra issued a remixed and remastered version of Too Fast For Love in August 1982 with a revised track listing. The album eventually went platinum and helped launch Mötley Crüe into the center of the Los Angeles hard rock and metal explosion that would dominate the charts and MTV throughout the 1980s.

The new box set will bring together both versions of the landmark debut, along with a substantial collection of previously unreleased and archival recordings.

The 1981 Leathür Records version of Too Fast For Love will be available exclusively as part of the box set, alongside the 1982 Elektra version.

Also included are two LPs documenting Mötley Crüe's 1982 performance at Perkins Palace, featuring early live versions of songs including "Looks That Kill," "Shout At The Devil" and "Knock 'Em Dead, Kid," several of which would appear on the band's 1983 classic Shout At The Devil.

The collection also contains the complete five-track March 1981 demo session, a replica 7-inch single featuring "Stick To Your Guns" and "Toast Of The Town," and a reproduction of the band's original 1981 demo cassette.

A 100-page hardcover photo book, poster and additional memorabilia round out the package.

OV SULFUR CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF SLAYER’S ‘GOD HATES US ALL’ WITH ‘DISCIPLE’ COVER - @thebeast

Blackened deathcore outfit Ov Sulfur are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Slayer's landmark 2001 album God Hates Us All by releasing their own rendition of the record's blistering track "Disciple."

The cover is available now via streaming platforms, with an accompanying official video available on YouTube.

Guitarist Chase Wilson commented: "'God Hates Us All' has always been one of my favourite Slayer records. I'm stoked we got to put our spin on one of the sickest songs on it!"

Vocalist Ricky Hoover added: "I was excited when the guys decided to do a Slayer cover, as it allowed me to see if I could hit Tom Araya style vocals. He's a unique, stand-out voice in metal, and it was fun to see if I could add his signature melodic shouting to my repertoire."

The cover arrives during a busy year for Ov Sulfur, who released their latest full-length album, Endless, earlier this year. The record sees the band continuing to push beyond their deathcore foundation, incorporating black metal elements and a greater emphasis on melody without sacrificing the band's extreme approach.

Endless was praised by MetalSucks, which described the album as "heavy, dark, complex," while Blabbermouth called it "a confident and classy stride forward."

The band has previously released videos for several tracks from Endless, including "Forlorn," "Vast Eternal," "Seed," "Evermore" and "Wither." The latter marked the band's first song to feature exclusively clean singing.

Ov Sulfur recently completed a North American tour with DevilDriver and will make their European debut this November and December as co-direct support for Mental Cruelty, alongside Extermination Dismemberment, Acranius and Sun Eater on select dates.

DISTANT FEATURED IN NEW METAL HAMMER INTERVIEW AHEAD OF INTO DESPAIR - @thebeast

DISTANT FEATURED IN NEW METAL HAMMER ITALIA INTERVIEW AHEAD OF INTO DESPAIR

Dutch/Slovak Deathcore Powerhouse Discuss Their Most Personal Album Yet, Working With Ricky Myers of Suffocation, and Turning Real-Life Pain Into Crushing Music

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dutch/Slovak deathcore powerhouse Distant have been featured in a brand-new interview with Metal Hammer Italia , discussing their upcoming album Into Despair , their evolution as a band, their collaboration with Ricky Myers of Suffocation , and the deeply personal experiences behind their most emotionally intense record to date.

The interview, titled “Distant – In the heart of despair,” explores the creative direction behind Into Despair , which is set for release November 6, 2026 via Century Media Records .

For Distant, this album represents a major shift in perspective. While previous releases have explored fictional narratives and expansive concepts, Into Despair draws directly from real experiences involving pain, loss, suffering, trauma, and resilience.

“What could be more intense?”

Speaking with Metal Hammer Italia, Distant explained how the personal nature of the album developed naturally during the writing process.

“It happened naturally. We hadn’t planned to do anything like this; during the writing process of this record, that’s just what felt right about it at the time.”

The band also opened up about the emotional challenge of confronting those experiences through music.

“It was definitely difficult to open up on certain topics, but at the same time it was also a sense of liberation.”

That vulnerability has not come at the expense of the brutality Distant are known for. If anything, the band believes the emotional weight makes the music hit even harder.

“What could be more intense than someone who pours into their music their own traumas, doubts and their own pain?”

BACK TO THE ROOTS

Musically, Distant say Into Despair finds them returning to the fundamentals of what made the band heavy in the first place, with a renewed focus on groove, crushing riffs and devastating breakdowns.

“We are more focused on groove and heaviness. We want to leave people speechless, but also make them move their heads and even jump in some moments.”

The band also emphasized that their evolution does not mean abandoning the sound their fans have come to expect.

“The aggression without compromise and the breakdowns have not disappeared.”

RICKY MYERS JOINS “ALL WILL BE (N)ONE”

The album's single “All Will Be (N)One” features Ricky Myers of legendary death metal band Suffocation , adding another level of sheer brutality to the track.

The collaboration grew naturally through Distant's touring history with Suffocation and their friendship with Myers.

“We’ve done several tours with Suffocation over the last few years and Ricky became a good friend of ours, so we wanted to do something together.”

The band knew Myers' voice would be a perfect fit for the song, and the result speaks for itself.

“This song had a part that fit his voice perfectly and the end result was just that: simply perfect!”

A RECORD ABOUT NOT BEING ALONE

At the heart of Into Despair is the idea that even the darkest experiences can become something shared.

When asked what they hope listeners will carry with them after hearing the album from beginning to end, Distant offered a simple but powerful message:

“We hope people remember that they are not alone in their suffering. We want them to be able to release all their negative emotions through this album.”

That message captures the core of Into Despair : an album built from darkness, but created as a way of connecting with others who have experienced it.

MURDERY Unleash New Death Metal Assault With “Killing Grandma” - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MURDERY Unleash New Death Metal Assault With “Killing Grandma”
Spanish-Polish Death Metal Force Return With the First Taste of Their Upcoming Full-Length

Full Length Release Date: October 2026

MURDERY are back to deliver another dose of crushing, groove-driven death metal with their upcoming new single “Killing Grandma,” arriving worldwide in October 2026. The track serves as the first official preview of the band’s forthcoming studio project, with the first four songs from the upcoming album being unveiled as part of this next chapter.

Formed in Murcia, Spain, in 2018 and now operating between Spain and Poland, MURDERY have carved out a sound that combines the brutality and authenticity of old-school death metal with a powerful groove-oriented attack. Their music is raw, aggressive, tightly played, and built around the kind of crushing riffs that demand to be experienced at full volume.

Following the band’s 2023 release Bloodshed , “Killing Grandma” signals an even heavier and more uncompromising direction. The song captures the experience MURDERY have accumulated throughout their career while refusing to bury the music under unnecessary production or studio gloss.

“This next work sums up the production, technique, rawness and aggression learned and forged in all of our career.”

Produced by JFT Studio , “Killing Grandma” represents the first taste of a larger body of material that will soon reveal more about MURDERY’s next era. The band is also preparing to unveil the full album details, with additional announcements and the accompanying music video expected soon.

The track has already proven itself in the live environment, becoming a centerpiece of MURDERY’s performances during their Spring Annihilation Tour across Poland. That live-tested intensity is at the heart of the band's approach: aggressive, tight, direct, and designed to hit with maximum impact.

MURDERY bring considerable experience to their attack, featuring former and current members of respected Spanish acts including Vendetta FM, 91Suite, and Siberia . Over the years, the band has also shared stages with international heavyweights including Napalm Death, Brujeria, Hatebreed, Crisix, and Dust Bolt , further establishing their reputation as a formidable live act within Europe's underground metal scene.

Rather than chasing trends, MURDERY remain focused on what makes death metal hit hardest: massive riffs, crushing grooves, raw aggression, dynamics, and authenticity.

“Killing Grandma” is the beginning of the next chapter.

And if the first taste is any indication, MURDERY are preparing to make one hell of a racket.

“Killing Grandma”

For Fans Of: Cannibal Corpse, Bloodbath, Obituary, Dismember, Deicide, Napalm Death
