Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle" - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine! - @thebeast

Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle"  - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine ! Check it out in the video below! Weight Of Emptiness is a Chilean band of metal which practice a mixture style in which can be distinguished progressive, death, doom, and black metal. The band has its origins in 2012, when the former members from the missing band Twilight Mist, Juan Acevedo and Alejandro Bravo on guitars and Alejandro Ruiz on vocals, started to make their first compositions. On Twilight Mist they had a career path of almost 10 years, innovating on progressive metal trends, so decided continuing the legacy, adding actual elements to their music. The first formation was completed with bassist David Hernández and Mauricio Basso on drums, leader of Letargo band, with almost 25 years of career, both incorporating a rhythmic base full of progressive elements, which give Weight Of Emptiness the characteristic and avant-garde sound recognized into the Chilean metal scene. Between August and September of 2016, they started recording their musical material for what will be their debut album. The drums are recorded at Alba Road studios by Eduardo Demangel and the rest in The Farm. The mixing and mastering is done by Richard Iturra. At the end of the recording process, David Hernández left the band, so they recruited the bassist Manuel Villarroel. On March 4, 2017 they independently released the first LP called “Anfractuous Moments For Redemption”, which is digitally edited worldwide thanks to the British label Sepulchral Silence on more than 14 streaming platforms. In physical format it is edited independently in digipack format.  As part of the promotion plan for the new album, in May 2017 a Concert Live Video is released at Bar Óxido (October 2016) and on October 20, 2017 is released the video clip for the song "Behind The Masks". Between October 27 and November 4, 2017 the band performs its first international tour in 6 cities in Mexico. In addition to the shows in Mexico, the band performs in different stages throughout Chile.  The album “Anfractuous Moments For Redemption” is highlighted by the Humo Negro site among the best Chilean albums of 2017. In addition, the album is included in the “The 12 Best Chilean Metal Albums 2017” Ranking of The Resistance webzine and in the “Top 320 Latin Albums of 2017” from Headbangers Latin America webzine. On March 16, 2018 the band releases their second video clip of the song "The Silence". On March 22, 2018 the album "Anfractuous Moments For Redemption" is re-released in Mexico in a co-production with the labels Concreto Records and Sun Empire Productions. The album "Anfractuous Moments For Redemption" is nominated for the 2018 Escuchar Awards in the Best Extreme Metal Disco category. On November 17, 2018 the band releases its third video clip of the song "Unbreakable". The bassist Manuel Villarroel leaves the band and in his replacement comes the former bassist of the progressive metal band Tremates, Mario Urra, whose debut is made when the band first visits Argentina in the framework of the 2018 Lado Salvaje Festival of the city of Mendoza, subsequently editing a Live Video with the full show.  On August 31, 2019 the band released their second studio album called "Conquering The Deep Cycle." The album was recorded at The Farm and Audio Custom Studios, and was mixed and mastered again by Richard Iturra. The album is published under the label Australis Records with international distribution. On August 16, 2019 the video clip of the song “The Flame” was released, which is the first single from the new album. In September 2019, the band made its first tour of Europe in several cities in Spain, Romania and Bulgaria, achieving a very good reception from the public of the old continent. In November 2019, the band toured Argentina that included Buenos Aires, the La Campana del Infierno festival near Rosario and the Criminal Metal Camp festival near Córdoba to promote the new album. NOISKIN's New Single And Video “Save me” Out Now! - @thebeast

FYI: Alternative metallers NOISKIN have released their touching new single and video “Save me”, dedicated to a friend who passed away last Summer! Watch “Save me” here: The band on the single: “Save me” is dedicated to a friend of ours who passed away last summer. It's a song about rage and pain, that has given us the strength to carry on during these very hard times, aware that we have to live every single day as if it were the last one. There are things that we can change, some others we cannot. We have to be wise in understanding the difference. Art by Leonardo Colombo & Sonia Balestri ------------    More information on NOISKIN In 2015, Luca (lead vocals) and Marco (lead guitar) teamed up with their longtime friend Simone (bass guitar) and met Federico (drummer). A common mindset and the different though keen musical backgrounds were the perfect soil to plant the Noiskin seed. The band soon started to work on their first tracks, and found their musical dimension into the alternative metal scene. Songs soon started to draw the common scenario that would become the first full length, Hold Sway Over, released in February, 2019: a concept album revolving around the theme of choices and the situations they put you into. While the album was being written and recorded, the band gigged around northern Italy. Noiskin is not only music. Noiskin means communicating, it means feeling, it is sharing. Alter Idem - Fragments Of Consciousness - Reviewed By Necromance Magazine! - @thebeast

Alter Idem - Fragments Of Consciousness - Reviewed By Necromance Magazine ! Check it out here at this link: http://necromance.eu/alter-idem-aus-fragments-of-consciousness/  From Australia we get the debut EP of ALTER IDEM, a Brutal Death band, with many technical reminiscences and also quite a few breakdowns that, accompanied by the ultra-throaty voice of Matt Turkingtom, gives them a touch of Deathcore, which does not look bad providing some greater brutality to the cocktail. There are four songs that they offer us in this debut, all with a duration of between four and three minutes and where the band reels a good amount of heavy riffs such as granite slabs, crushing drums and a bass with a lot of presence and that is an authentic crusher. Although they do not offer anything new and that we have already heard before in other bands, we must admit that the songs despite their brutality have a good structure, and at no time do they become heavy, mixing very fast riffs with others closer to the Slam. For me, the best song on the EP is the second "Fragments of Consciousness", where Death Metal riffs predominate and I think the band has done a better job in composition. If what attracts you is the most modern Brutal Death with some “core” influence without a doubt, the initial "Paradoxical Design" or "Neural Adaptation" will be your favorites. Although there are also good riffs that Brutal Death fans will surely enjoy. Also highlight the sound of the recording, very clear, appreciating each and every one of the instruments in all their splendor, something to highlight in a debut. Good EP, a very interesting business card that shows the potential of the band, which can undoubtedly provide a fan base for future releases. 7/10 Australian death metal band Alter Idem delivers the first taste of their new sound in the form of a 4 track EP titled " Fragments of Consciousness ". ALTER IDEM is a 4 piece death metal band hailing from Australia , featuring members of Internal Devour , I Exalt, and Empires Fall . With each band having success in their own right, ALTER IDEM will be no different as we continue our push to create relentless and forward-thinking death metal . Empyrean Fire - Deliverance - Reviewed by MetalNoise! - @thebeast

Empyrean Fire - Deliverance - Reviewed by MetalNoise ! Check it out here at this link: https://metalnoise.net/2020/12/review-deliverance-by-empyrean-fire A concept album that reshapes the work of Milton’s “Paradise Lost” and “Paradise Regained” after years of rumination from frontwoman Tricia Myers forms the backbone of the debut album of Portland, Oregon trio Empyrean Fire as she is joined by guitarist, bassist and programmer Jason Yorke and synth master Brian Rush. Yorke also mixed and mastered the release as in each chapter a battle in the dragon’s ascent to gain command over Hell on Earth. Will you bow down in battle, sunken before the spear? Despite the albums very much Black Metal artwork from Gustav Dore the band are a hybrid of pure evil forged in the fires of Hell itself with moments of Symphonic Black Metal and Blackened Thrash in a cauldron of dark and oppressive atmospherics that has moments of light through the dark clouds with some clean vocal harmonies. “Proclamation” is simply the start of the reign of fire, setting the scene of with the sounds of ancient warfare before the gripping “Gathering Storm” brings forth the sense of the epic with cinematic orchestration and throat shredding roars from Myers who plays the role of Gollum screaming like a banshee from the distant caves. Her uncleans are frequently underpinned by deeper ones from Yorke and Rush giving an extra low that makes for a black abyss beneath your feet while the Solemnity esq orchestrations add that finesse that so often escapes Black Metal. The blast beats of “Descent” sever flesh from bone like they’re being sandblasted and while the drumming is of superior quality, the programming means that they are able to reach inhuman levels of perfection with a stamina that no drummer would achieve. The immense percussive battery is the underpinning of a melancholic melody the two opposing extremes sitting comfortably in the same space, both beautiful and barbed at the same time with an ethereal quality from the synths providing a distant light to the shroud of darkness. On the path to eternal punishment and damnation into which a sinful and unrepentant person passes after death, “Perdition” is a slower burning affair with a soaring solo as Myres has more of a storytelling vocal style before the whammy bar into Blackened Thrash riffs that closes this chapter in fine style. 40 seconds of somber and melodic notes set a shoegazing false sense of security at the start of “Corruption” with Hans Zimmer esq touches that send chills down your spine before the Earth shattering roar from Myres is followed by a driven percussive onslaught as the demon approaches carried by sand storm of dark riffage. The mid song return to the opening notes is a temporary reprieve before the taker of souls returns once more, a solo followed by the intertwining of the clean and unclean vocals for the first time on the album make this a real stand out. “The Siege” takes everything that was previously on offer while adding a haunting melody and a beautiful clean vocal passage in the final third that means that Empyrean Fire can pride themselves on maintaining a high quality of material throughout the album before the brutality of closer “Final Battle” brings the thunder. Tearing us limb from limb with Blackened Thrash riffs in the mid section and a whirlwind of percussion as the symphonies torment, the best has been saved until last  [7.5/10] The concept behind "Deliverance" was ruminated upon for years by front woman, Tricia Myers, after reading Milton's "Paradise Lost" and "Paradise Regained." Deliverance is a sinister take on Milton's work, reshaping it with harrowing twists and malevolent revelations, each chapter a battle in the dragon's ascent to gain command over Hell on Earth. BIOGRAPHY Silenced Minstrel (age 44 years, born Saiful Nizam Shukor, 28 th March 1976) was a full time singer, songwriter musician from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Been playing music since 1991 he co-founded HALUN, a gothic black metal band back in 1996, produced several demos, one EP and one LP before the badly deformed monstrosity was laid to rest in 2015. Writing and producing mostly in his bedroom studio nicknamed “Sky Panacea Enterprise” he spent the entire 2016 gathering writing and recording materials for his debut album “Volume 1” choosing to name it as such as to not make it sounds too rockstar-ish.  “Volume 1” is a combination of melodic gothic stuff mixed with thrash, death and doom metal riffs and black metal atmosphere, utilizing the most basic of guitar effects, cheap keyboards/ synthesizers and MIDI orchestra throughout the entire album to produce something that he’d always wanted to do: anything that didn’t sound like his former band! The album is completed in September but it be long after the production of the second album was underway when that album graced the scene... The second album “Volume 2” saw some maturity in his songwriting, the MIDI orchestra part ditched altogether and it also saw a fair amount of rough edges deliberately highlighted in the mix, and a lot more gothic atmosphere throughout than before especially in the lyrics department, where he wrote songs about the occult, immortality, vampirism and forbidden love between the mortal and the damned, also some cryptic poetic inclinations thrown to the mix just for the heck of it. The third album “Volume 3” saw him moving ever closer towards a more melodic black metal sound than the old one, this time the long ditched MIDI orchestra element restored along with some double-layered bass guitar tracks and even gloomier atmosphere than before, reflecting the state of his mind, body, spirit and environment that he’s at during that period of time; with traces of anger, hatred, betrayal and vengeance gracing every song in the album (he fully recovered from his decade long clinical depression that same year). The fourth album “Volume 4” saw him disposing of all the gothic melodic stuff and straight into just vocals guitars bass and drums, trying to go as dry and as harsh as he can, tackling on darker themes like deviant spirituality, Satanism, atheism, philosophy and dark fantasy. Fast tempo is the name of the game; the drums gained more prominence and absolutely no melodic stuff present on this album. The fifth album “Volume 5” saw the further development of sound and direction from the previous album, adding also an orchestral style instrumental black metal song as the last track of the album, a song that hearkens back to his old days in HALUN. The artist is currently occupied promoting his new album, gathering materials for the sixth album and also working on his other band “Shadowed Grace” playing New Age Scifi Fantasy Instrumental Synthesizer music. Silenced Minstrel is unsigned and is looking for exposure, a recording contract and developing fanbases all across the globe. "We called this song Lullaby because it’s about our duty to guard always the dreams of our beloved ones that seem so fragile and delicate. The song surprisingly conveys a combination of furious strength and incredible tenderness. By sound this song is close to Crematory with some vibes of Mudvayne. With a powerful and modern guitar riff and beautiful melody, supported of strings, this song has great energy in combination with romantic vibes." Lullaby by Cynik Scald LULLABY (Lyrics) You’re my little angel, I’m your guarding demon. Whoever tries to hurt you Will be swept away by my rage. Close your eyes, darling, Be afraid of nothing. I’ll leave the fairytale book Opened at your favorite page. And even when I’m gone forever I’ll still be getting back to you in your dreams, I’ll still be your personal guarding demon Protecting you from any evil and sins. Pre chorus Darling, hug your pillow and sleep. May your dreams be so gentle and deep. Close your eyes, darling, and please sleep tight. May you cradle be blessed with the starlight. Chorus Waking up at your darkest night I’ll stand straight in your doorways. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. Waking up at your darkest night I’ll take away all your sorrows. I’ll be there by your side Always, always. Waking up at your darkest night I’ll stand straight in your doorways. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. I’ve been through many fights I have enough of scars I have enough of skills To protect you from your nightmares. So sleep well, honey, Stay calm, stay brave, For God always supports Only the one who dares. I’ll be guarding your dreams Always, always. credits released November 27, 2020 CYNIK SCALD is a multicultural Heavy Metal/Melodic Metal/PowerMetal/Metalcore band with their own original lyrics and music. Cynik Scald’s music has its own sound which can be described as an exciting mixture of heavy metal and folk songs with a pinch of industrial/power metal and a flavor of Viking Metal/DeathMetalcore tunes. Their music is similar to CREMATORY, MUDVAYNE, GHOST, ALESTORM, AMON AMARTH and some vibes of LAMB OF GOD, MOTÖRHEAD. Check out these singles the band previously released! 1. ASGARD. This song sounds like modern viking metal. The main character of the song is today’s person living regular life, who has lost his identity and he is trying to find himself in the world. This song has heavy, mostly Death Metal/Metalcore sound, influenced by LAMB OF GOD, AMON AMARTH. 2. STORM featuring famous power heavy metal vocalist URBAN BREED! The song contains an exciting combination of two great voices - one deep, powerful, harsh voice of our lead vocalist and one of the best heavy metal vocalists, tenor Urban Breed. The Storm is a legendary pirate flagship's song about the battle against a powerful and unbridled storm. Will Queen Anne's Revenge be able to win, break through this wild storm? This song is more Melodic Power Metal/Pirate Metal, influenced by ALESTORM, GHOST, SERIOUS BLACK, POWERWOLF etc. Cynik Scald’s debut album "AGED SPIRIT" was released at the end of 2019. Recently some of songs from the album were added to some top Spotify metal and rock playlists. Two most popular songs from album are: 'When the sun goes down' – Motorbike Road song, all filled of the spirit of Freedom and Harley Davidson. Sounds a bit country Metal with reference to Cowboy movies of 70-s. Bloggers about this song: “it’s a hard rock fusion that even allows a blues section on the bridge. A song to listen to while you travel to the nearest motor-meeting!”. Reference for this song is Motörhead. 'Silent Rainbow' is more Metalcore/Rap Metal. The song is about all people life that they just waste, but all the time above them there is Silent Rainbow, that watching them with love. Influenced by Ghost, Crematory.
