Today, uprising Norwegian metallers Phantom Fire premiere the new video "Feed on Fire" at Decibel magazine's website . The track is the first to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, The Bust of Beelzebub , set for international release on October 22nd via Edged Circle Productions . See & hear Phantom Fire 's "Feed on Fire" video in its entirety exclusively HERE .
It was but May 2021 when a brand-new entity burst from Bergen, Norway, bearing the all-too- apropos moniker Phantom Fire . With members hailing from such bands as Gaahls Wyrd and Krakow, the duo surprisingly went a different route with their debut EP, Return of the Goat . Hard-rocking, hard-charging, reeking of rust and diesel, Phantom Fire proved they were their own band removed from any sort of lineal references. Better yet, perhaps, they were just getting started and already promised a debut full-length...
Before the dust of Return of the Goat even had a chance to clear, that debut album is finally here: The Bust of Beelzebub ! Flexing the same chops and some new ones, Phantom Fire 's first full-length salaciously spans pitch-black speed metal and moody epic metal alike, all of it in (evil) obeisance to timeless HEAVY METAL magick. At once decades old and years ahead of the game, The Bust of Beelzebub bears an ageless wisdom across its succinct seven-song/29-minute runtime, like Aura Noir jamming out on some Cirith Ungol covers or early Omen getting turned onto the Swedish Cranium, and vice versa - on and on, ad infinitum , excelsior ! Nevertheless, some interesting twists crop up in the most unselfconscious ways, like the spattering of spiraling psychedelic guitar or solemn Viking-dirge acoustics, altogether making for a wild ride across the hinterlands of the frozen Norwegian tundra...all before it's lit afire!
With stout and richly analog recording courtesy of Iver Sandøy (Enslaved) at Solslottet Studio in Bergen and deliciously warped cover art by Nifelheim's Hellbutcher, Phantom Fire 's The Bust of Beelzebub is an exceptionally unique take on the traditional. The band will be making their live debut at this year's Beyond the Gates: Uprising festival in Bergen on August 6th.
In the meantime, see & hear the brand-new video "Feed on Fire" exclusively HERE , courtesy of Decibel , North America's only monthly metal magazine. Preorder info can be found HERE at Edged Circle 's Bandcamp. Aforementioned cover art and tracklisting are as follows :

Coming in with a total of 16,620 votes!
We are Nexus Imperium, an experimental, atmospheric black metal act from Athens, Greece.
The band was formed in 2005. Inspired by deep space and the unknown universe, begun to work on music based on traditional and modern black metal mixed with sci-fi vibes through synthesizers and special effects. Music that travels from Mayhem and Blut Aus Nord to Vangelis and Klaus Schulze.
Nexus Imperium's mission is to study and present the past, present and future of this vast universe we live in from when time began to which future plans may be for all lifeforms. Starting with this E.P music and lyrics narrate how it all started.
This is Nexus Imperium's very first official work. There was a demo back in 2007 composed by the only member and founder back then "Synapse" that never saw the light. Through Nexus Imperium's music one will experience the evolution of universe, space - time and humanity.

“The Violence Sessions” is the third release from KTI , following 2019’s “The Decimation” and 2020 “A Strain Of Agony” EP. According to guitarist Danny Arrieta, this album is the result of years of anger and frustration of being told you can’t, you’re not ready, you’re not this or that, and saying ‘No’ with everything in your soul and the conviction - to fight tooth and nail for your place in the world.
Heavy and tight, your hair will stand on end and you will feel the energy KTI has poured into this release. As each song blares through your speakers, every note, beat, and lyric will awaken the energy in you to get up and go!
“The Violence Sessions” is recommended for fans of Fit for an Autopsy, Slaughter To Prevail, and Meshuggah and available on the following platforms:

About:
Kill The Imposter is an Orlando, USA-based deathcore band that was formed in late 2018. Pulling musical inspiration from everywhere, the intention of this four-piece band is to make you move in any capacity you see fit.
Coming from local and national bands, Kill The Imposter brings experience, drive, and mayhem, to the stage. The quartet banded together over a shared love for heavy and violent music, after sharing the stage for one song they knew they had something special, so they sat down together and within a week had 3 songs written and a video lined up. They haven’t stopped since that first sit down, and they won’t stop.
One of the founding members Danny Arrieta (guitar) is the primary music writer getting help with arrangement by Johnny Nobody (vocals). Nick Colvin (drums) carries the aggressive speed and heavy grooves with Wilson Bembry ( bass) definitely sharing and blending the thundering lows and technical playing between all of it.
Since they got together, Kill The Imposter has released “The Decimation” (2019), “A Strain Of Agony” (2020) and “The Violence Sessions” (2021). They have pummeled the stages of Central Florida Metal Fest and Tampa DeathFest and played alongside heavy hitters such as Nile and Terrorizer.

Jon Mikl Thor New Album “Alliance” is the Fourth Album Co-Produced By Kevin Stuart Swain - @thebeast
Los Angeles, CA – The long-awaited 39th studio album from classic metal superhero THOR is officially released worldwide! This marks the fourth album co-produced with Kevin Stuart Swain. Kevin also appears as an engineer, songwriter and musician. To celebrate this monumental release, THOR shares a brand-new video of the Thor/Swain composition ” Because We’re Strong”, the Official Music Video for the short film “LIBERATOR” starring Lou Ferrigno, Peta Wilson and Ed Asner.
The flaming punk of “Power Hungry” that Kevin Stuart Swain’s six and four strings push towards a climax. -- DME Let It Rock
Purchase or stream at https://orcd.co/thor_alliance_album
The album, Alliance, includes special guest appearances from W.A.S.P.’s Chris Holmes, Danko Jones, Anthrax’s Neil Turbin, Ross “The Boss” Friedman, Prism’s Al Harlow and many more. It features stunning artwork from Timo Wuerz and is available on both digital as well as on CD in a digipak and limited-edition silver vinyl in a gatefold jacket!
Kevin sat down to discuss his involvement in the Thor album Alliance.
What was your full involvement with the new Thor album?
"On Alliance as with his last 3 albums, I was an engineer,co-producer, co-writer, Guitarist, Bassist, Background vocalist. I recorded all the vocals for the entire album and was heavily involved with 7 tracks. I coordinated with other contributors and over saw the overall project to varying degrees. As it was a co-production, Jon Mikl Thor was more hands on production on the other album tracks. Of course the lines are blurred and we worked together on all of it. As we all have to wear a lot of hats these days, I also directed and created/edited the " Because We Are Strong" video, and will be involved in future videos coming up. I have made videos for Jon for years, beginning with “Thunderstyker”."
How did you approach the new album differently than the previous album?
"On the previous album, Rising, we had time constraints and our original intention wasn't to do a whole album. Thor had a tour booked for the USA in early 2020 and we wanted him to have an album to promote. Because of that we had to get it done quickly. It turned out that he was playing venues in areas that where hard hit by the emerging covid epidemic and clubs and cities where closing the doors as he moved to the next town. I stayed home and re-recorded- remixed 3 single versions from Rising that I felt needed more attention.
Ted Jedlicki, who is a writer, bassist and project coordinator on the new album and many other Thor albums mentioned that my single versions inspired him to increase production values on his contributions, so we were all on the same page.
I would say that I didn't approach the album differently, I just had better tools and more experience, so I did what I usually do with a clearer focus and a great team I could go to."
How did COVID impact the writing and recording of the new album?
"The impact of Covid affected everything. How we wrote, how we felt and the logistics of making a record. Because I live alone I was always allowed 2 people in my bubble. They were Lisa Freakrock and Jon Mikl Thor. Lisa is a videographer and photographer, so she did a lot of work on videos and shots we needed.
In the height of lockdown and in the early days I would put Jon in a vocal room and we wouldn't even physically see each other too much. We didn't know what the future held but threw ourselves into work and remembered that music is very healing. We had time and could polish and shape the songs. We connected with guest artists and technicians with zoom and dropbox etc, and got the parts, songs and mixes we needed. I assembled all the finished pieces and came up with an LP and CD order. Input from Thor and Ted Jedlicki changed that slightly, but I feel together we made this thing happen. I would say Jon's friendship and enthusiasm really got me through some dark days and inspired me to keep going."
