FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Zach Moonshine Show Turns Black Friday Into a Full Scale Metal Riot
Black Friday is usually a battlefield for cheap TVs and busted knuckles, but this year the real action wasn’t in any checkout line. It was blasting through Metal Devastation Radio. The night kicked off with the Battle of the Bands top six blowing the doors clean off. Farewell From The Gallows, ANTISAINT, Decrypter, Eden On Fire, Verses and Saturnine Sorrows hit the airwaves like they were looking for a rematch with the apocalypse. No breaks. No mercy. Just pure volume shaking loose whatever was left of the week.
And that was just the warm up.
Once the dust settled, The Zach Moonshine Show Black Friday Special rolled in and finished the job. No interviews. No guests. No handholding. Just me firing off brand new heavy tracks while the rest of the country tripped over themselves chasing bargains. This is how Black Friday was meant to sound. Loud, reckless and honest.
The real kicker? The crowd showed up in force. A wild 119,711 metal maniacs tuned in live, turning the broadcast into something closer to a digital stampede. That kind of support keeps the underground alive, kicking and refusing to apologize for a damn thing.
If you missed it, the replay’s up and waiting to rattle your walls. Grab a drink, crank the volume and get caught up. Black Friday might be over, but the chaos sure didn’t stop.

DAY 40 Unleash Thrash Metal Tribute to Black Sabbath with “Symptom of the Universe” OUT NOW - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DAY 40 Unleash Thrash Metal Tribute to Black Sabbath with “Symptom of the Universe”
OUT NOW
DAY 40 have unleashed their studio cover of the Black Sabbath classic “Symptom of the Universe,” delivering a blazing thrash metal twist on one of the genre’s most untouchable foundations. This one punches hard and fast, landing squarely in the sweet spot for fans of Death, Testament and The Haunted.
The idea for the cover was born this past summer, right after the metal world was shaken by the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. The band felt the loss like a gut punch and knew they had to honor the man who helped build the entire blueprint for heavy music. They chose “Symptom of the Universe,” stormed the stage at Total Metal Open Air and served up a version built around seven string guitars and a reworked arrangement. The crowd reaction was so intense it pushed the band to take it to the studio and capture the full power of their interpretation. And now it’s here for all to blast.
DAY 40 was founded by Den Dimitrov in 2003, already a respected name in the Eastern European underground thanks to his pioneering work in Brainstorm and the cult classic Pieces of Reality. Since 2012, bassist Stefan Minev has locked in beside him, shaping the band’s low end with precision and grit. Their strongest lineup yet is completed by drummer Hugo Terva, known for his time with Death Valley Knights and touring Europe with speed metal legends Savage Grace, along with guitarist Nikolay Atanasov, former Agent Steel member and current shredder for German thrash mainstays REZET.
The band’s cover of “Symptom of the Universe” stands as both a tribute and a statement. Sabbath lit the fuse decades ago. DAY 40 are here to show that flame still burns bright and heavy.
“Symptom of the Universe” is out now on all platforms. Crank it.

HEXJAKT PREMIERE FULL ALBUM STREAM FOR BLESSING OF THE DAMNED VIA DECIBEL MAGAZINE - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HEXJAKT PREMIERE FULL ALBUM STREAM FOR BLESSING OF THE DAMNED VIA DECIBEL MAGAZINE
Swedish Doom Trio Unleash Their Monumental Debut Full-Length
Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that Swedish doom powerhouse Hexjakt has premiered their entire upcoming album Blessing of the Damned exclusively through Decibel Magazine . The feature showcases the band’s crushing, slow-burning brand of doom and marks a major milestone leading up to the album’s December 1 release.
Decibel set the tone perfectly in their premiere description, calling the record a dose of “dank, depressive doom” and praising the trio for delivering eight “bleak doomscapes of dread and darkness” that lumber forward with relentless weight. With every track clocking well past the five-minute mark, Blessing of the Damned offers a full immersion into Hexjakt’s world of ritual gloom and unyielding heaviness.
Recorded at Kingstreet Studio in August 2025 and mixed and mastered by Joona Hassinen at Studio Underjord , the album will be released on both vinyl and digital formats through Majestic Mountain Records , in collaboration with Burning Skull Records . Preorders for vinyl and digital editions are available now.
Hexjakt—featuring Hampus Henningsson (guitar/vocals), Toni Åkerman (bass/vocals), and Dan Nordin (drums)—describe their debut full-length as their most conceptually focused and emotionally intense work to date.
“With Blessing of the Damned we present a collection of the darkest and most conceptually charged songs we’ve created so far,” the band states. “The title itself captures the album’s core tension: the pull between damnation and redemption, light and darkness. These songs unfold across a landscape of crushing, slow-paced riffs, murky atmospheres, and lyrics that evoke ritual ecstasy, defiance, and resignation. This is a journey beyond traditional boundaries, a space where the marginalized and the forsaken are given a voice, and perhaps even a kind of blessing in their downfall.”
Blessing of the Damned drops December 1.
Stream the full album now exclusively at Decibel Magazine and experience Hexjakt’s uncompromising debut in its entirety.

The Human Tragedy Unleash New Single and Video “The Murder of Light Around Me” From the Album Upon Waves, The Inferno — Out Now - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Human Tragedy Unleash New Single and Video “The Murder of Light Around Me”
From the Album Upon Waves, The Inferno — Out Now
Single/Video Release Date: Out Now
Album: Upon Waves, The Inferno
Genre: Orchestral Metal
For Fans Of: Dimmu Borgir, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Old Man’s Child
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Lexington’s own symphonic metal heavyweights The Human Tragedy have dropped their brand new single and video “The Murder of Light Around Me,” a haunting and cinematic chapter pulled straight from their latest full length Upon Waves, The Inferno . The album is already out there leveling listeners, and this new single only drives the stake deeper into the dark emotional landscape the band has been carving out.
A Descent Into Emotional Turmoil
“The Murder of Light Around Me” digs into the internal collapse that comes from pain left to rot in silence. The track balances orchestra, blast beats, and suffocating atmosphere, laying out a story that hits harder than most want to admit. True to form, The Human Tragedy don’t glamorize the darkness. They stare it down and force the world to do the same.
In the band’s words:
“This song is about the moments when hope feels like it’s fading out of reach. We want people to know they aren’t alone in that fight. Staying connected, checking in on each other, being present… it matters more than people think.”
A Cinematic Strike From Upon Waves, The Inferno
Visually, the “The Murder of Light Around Me” video mirrors the sweeping scale the band built across the album. The orchestral arrangements, the savage riff work, and the emotional weight all collide into a single, focused blow. If the album is a journey through fire, this track is one of the places where the flames burn brightest.

THE CONSEQUENTS UNLEASH “CONSECRATED” — DELUXE COVER ALBUM OUT NOW - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE CONSEQUENTS UNLEASH “CONSECRATED” — DELUXE COVER ALBUM OUT NOW
Ottawa’s genre-bending heavy hitters The Consequents have officially dropped their long-awaited deluxe cover album “Consecrated” , released on October 31st, 2025 through Irrevocable Recs . Halloween may have come and gone, but this record isn’t tied to a holiday. It’s built to hit hard all year long.
Formed in 2016 , The Consequents have built a reputation for bending the rules and welding together mathrock intricacies, alternative-rock hooks, and metal aggression into a style that refuses to sit politely in any one lane. Fans of Slipknot , Moist , and Quarashi will feel right at home in the chaos.
The Consequents are:
Amir St. Laurent – Vocals
Auzi Stevens – Drums
Anthony Sato – Guitars
Andrew Botros – Sound Crew
“ Consecrated ” delivers 11 fiercely re-imagined tracks pulled from rock-alternative, metal, death metal, and hip-hop. Instead of cookie-cutter covers, the band injected their own grit and personality into every song, turning familiar tunes into something sharper, darker, and unmistakably theirs.
The band sums the release up like this:
“‘Consecrated’ hosts 11 new authentically covered songs ranging in Rock-Alternative, Metal, Death Metal, and Hip-Hop genres.”
Managed by Extreme Management Group, Inc.
The album is out now and streaming here:
https://consequents.bandcamp.com/music
/>
If you’re into heavy music with attitude and zero pretension, give “Consecrated” a spin. It’s a killer showcase of a band refusing to play it safe and doing it their own way like they always have.

Killerwitch, Hexjakt, Selias, and Powerhouse - Shine in Norway’s Legendary Scream Magazine - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Metal Devastation PR Clients Shine in Norway’s Legendary Scream Magazine
Metal Devastation PR is thrilled to announce that four of its clients— Killerwitch, Hexjakt, Selias, and Powerhouse —have been featured in the latest issue of Norway’s iconic Scream Magazine , alongside Alter Bridge on the cover. The issue highlights new releases from the global metal scene, and our clients received notable recognition for their latest work.
Killerwitch – Palace of the Dragon
Scream Magazine praised the Maltese powerhouse for their blend of melody and raw metal energy. Vocalist Luke Debono was highlighted for delivering both power and emotion, while tracks like Leonidas , From the Grave , and the title track cement Killerwitch’s reputation as a band moving in the right direction.
Hexjakt – Blessing of the Damned
The debut full-length from Hexjakt impressed with its monumental, melodic doom sound. Reviewers noted the trio’s ability to craft a melancholic yet captivating atmosphere, showing that even a band only a year into its journey can make a major impact.
Selias – Killkarma
Selias’ industrial melodic death approach caught the attention of critics, with standout tracks Don’t Tread On Me and Six 6 Sicks noted for their drive and energy. While the album presented some repetitive elements, the review acknowledged the band’s compelling vision and genre-blending approach.
Powerhouse – American Rebel
The band’s American metal approach, blending US thrash with socially conscious lyrics, drew comparisons to classic acts like Anthrax and Ugly Kid Joe. While described as a “mini-LP,” the release still delivered engaging riffs and late-night metal vibes for dedicated fans.
“We couldn’t be prouder to see our artists featured in Scream Magazine, one of the most respected metal publications in Europe,” said Zach Moonshine , founder of Metal Devastation PR. “These reviews showcase the diversity, talent, and global reach of the bands we work with.”

CLASSY LONNIE SHOWS OFF HIS MASSIVE TENNESSEE METAL DEVASTATION MUSIC FEST MERCH HAUL AND DROPS A HEARTFELT REVIEW OF THIS YEAR’S CHAOS - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLASSY LONNIE SHOWS OFF HIS MASSIVE TENNESSEE METAL DEVASTATION MUSIC FEST MERCH HAUL AND DROPS A HEARTFELT REVIEW OF THIS YEAR’S CHAOS
If you’ve spent any time in the underground metal world, you already know Classy Lonnie is one of the most genuine voices holding it down. The dude doesn’t fake excitement, doesn’t chase trends, and sure as hell doesn’t sugarcoat. So when he finally resurfaced after Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest with a full merch haul video and a mile-long grin, fans knew it was going to be something special.
Lonnie kicked off his review by admitting he took a much needed breather after the festival and Halloween. Fair enough. The man spent the entire fest pinned down at his tent handing out merch like it was doomsday rations. He came loaded with a couple grand worth of gear, and by the time the last riff faded into the Tennessee night, you maniacs had cleaned him out completely. Not a bad problem for anyone to have.
But what really hit home was the way he talked about the fest itself. For a guy who’s been open about not always feeling like he “belongs” anywhere, he laid it out plain: Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest is one of the few places where he truly feels like he’s part of the tribe. This community made him feel like a million bucks, and you could hear the gratitude all over his voice. Fans, bands, vendors, sponsors, the whole wild family of misfits, he threw love at all of them. And of course he dropped a shout to me and Raven, which meant more than he knows.
Once Lonnie wiped the emotion off his sleeve and got down to business, he busted out the good stuff: the merch haul. And let me tell you, this man walked out of that field with enough gear to stock a small record shop.
He ran through his VIP sponsor perks first, showing off the festival pass with all the bands listed, the green Metal Devastation mug to match last year’s purple one, the guitar picks, the physical ticket, and the festival shirt. He’s dead set on building himself a mug collection at this point, and honestly, same.
Then came the vendor and sponsor goods. We’re talking everything from Death Reigns documentary promo, to the Black Doomba Records tent where Tommy Stewart hooked him up with a Hallow’s Eve shirt and some heavy vinyl. Lonnie grabbed Black Moon Cult’s album, Tommy Stewart’s Direwolf’s latest EP, and even dropped some praise for Tommy’s legendary storytelling. If you know, you know.
He swung by Black Flame Entertainment for a Reaper Underground shirt, then snagged original artwork from Cody of Defiler of the Crown, along with the Defiler Magazine—complete with a classy metal ad that Lonnie proudly pointed out.
Then he dove into the bands that actually tore the stage apart this year.
Sun Mantra, East of Eden, Ninja Witch, Of Ruin, Septarian and more all had merch that caught his eye, and he made sure to cop something from each. He didn’t make that mistake twice after missing out on Sun Mantra last year. The man brought home shirts, hats, stickers, EPs, and a whole pile of metal memories.
What made the video hit different though wasn’t just the merch. It was the way Lonnie talked about every band, every vendor, every person he chatted with like they genuinely mattered. And that’s the magic of this fest. It’s not corporate. There’s no velvet rope. It’s just real people supporting real music because they love it, not because some algorithm told them to.
Classy Lonnie’s merch haul wasn’t just a flex. It was a love letter to the entire Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest experience. A reminder of why scenes like ours still matter, and why we keep doing this thing the old school way. Community. Music. Heart. Sweat. And a whole lot of killer merch.
If you haven’t watched his full review yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. And if you missed the fest this year, well, that’s what next year is for.
Because like Lonnie said, this place makes people feel like they belong.
And in a world that gets louder and weirder every year, that’s worth its weight in vinyl.

Trip To The Morgue Crash The Zach Moonshine Show: Thrash, Chaos, and a Whole Lot of Grave Digging - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Trip To The Morgue Crash The Zach Moonshine Show: Thrash, Chaos, and a Whole Lot of Grave Digging
Southern California crossover thrash crew Trip To The Morgue stormed into The Zach Moonshine Show for one of the wildest episodes we’ve had in a while. With their new album Toe Tagged and Body Bagged dropping via Wormholedeath, the timing couldn’t have been better. These guys came ready to swing, joke, riff, and tear through the whole history of this new record like they were ripping open a body bag.
I kicked the show off blasting their track Digging Your Grave , featuring none other than Mitch Harris (Napalm Death, Righteous Pigs) . And like I said live, those chugs and that breakdown… man, that’s the kind of riff work that reminds you why this genre refuses to die. The band got into the whole backstory too. They even talked about leaning into their Righteous Pigs influence on purpose to craft something Mitch could step into naturally. And yeah, it worked.
The guys also talked about leveling up from a three-piece to a four-piece, which really opened the door for bigger hooks, bigger riffs, and a whole lot more power on stage. We dug into influences, old school thrash roots, crossover energy, writing processes, gear, and all the insanity they carry with them on the road. And if you’ve been spinning the record, you already know it’s nasty from front to back.
Below you can check out the full interview as it premiered on YouTube.
And as always, the full podcast version of The Zach Moonshine Show is up on Mixcloud with ALL the new music releases, listener requests, underground discoveries, and the usual madness that happens when the chat goes off the rails.

This episode had it all: laughs, deep cuts, nostalgic talk about the old days, and a whole lot of energy pointing forward. Trip To The Morgue are keeping that crossover-thrash spirit alive by doing it the way it’s always been done — loud, raw, and without asking permission.
If you missed the live broadcast, no worries. Here’s your second chance to jump in, crank it loud, and support underground metal the way it deserves.
Toe Tagged and Body Bagged is out now via Wormholedeath. Go spin it, buy it, share it, and make damn sure people hear it.
Stay loud, stay stubborn, and keep digging graves in the pit.

November 21, 2025 — Albuquerque, NM — NEPTHISIS steps out of the shadows and into the fire with the full release of History Dies , her most ambitious and emotionally charged album yet. After the lead single “All is Fair” lit the fuse earlier this month, the complete record is officially out now on all major platforms.
This marks her second full-length release in just two months, a move most artists wouldn’t dare. NEPTHISIS pushes forward anyway, tapping directly into the themes that fuel her work: endings, devastation, rebirth, and the strange beauty that comes after everything falls apart.
Blending dark pop with art rock and sweeping cinematic sound design, History Dies delivers a listening experience that cuts deep and lingers. It’s built for anyone who wants more than surface-level sound. This one stares straight into the fire.
NEPTHISIS explains the heart of the record:
“History Dies is about endings — not just of the world, but of the battles we fight inside ourselves. It’s the sound of collapse, reckoning, and transformation.”
At the center of the album lies an intimate piece of poetry, a guiding spark for the emotional core of the project:
Every flame was once a version of her — soft, reaching, pleading not to fade.
She turns her back to the smoke, letting it linger, letting it teach her.
Her past selves glow softly behind her, illuminating the steps she takes alone...
She does not look back, and she does not walk away from love.
Even in the letting go, she is whole.
The air hums with what she’s lost — and still, she moves forward, illuminated by her own becoming.
With History Dies , NEPTHISIS once again proves she’s carving her own lane in the dark pop world. Emotion, artistry, and rebellion crash together here, forging a sound that refuses to be ignored.

ACERBIC UNLEASHES DEATH-THRASH MASTERPIECE “ABHORRENT ATROCITIES AGAINST ALL HUMANKIND” – OUT FEBRUARY 2026 - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ACERBIC UNLEASHES DEATH-THRASH MASTERPIECE “ABHORRENT ATROCITIES AGAINST ALL HUMANKIND” – OUT FEBRUARY 2026
Olympia, WA – ACERBIC, the searing death-thrash powerhouse from Olympia, Washington, announces the release of their debut EP, Abhorrent Atrocities Against All Humankind , set to strike in February 2026. Fusing relentless aggression with melodic darkness, ACERBIC delivers six devastating tracks designed to thrill fans of Carcass, At The Gates, and Power Trip.
Founded in 2013 as a solo project by guitarist Chris Thompson, ACERBIC has evolved over the years into a full-force band featuring Gabriel Glandon on vocals, Xander Provencher on bass, Chris Hannan on drums, and Thompson himself on guitar. With influences ranging from old-school death metal to melodic intricacy, ACERBIC’s sound blends vicious riffs, menacing grooves, and haunting melodies into a dark, visceral atmosphere.
The band first grabbed attention with their 2023 demo, featuring session drums by Dirk Verbeuren and scorching leads from Kragen Lum on “Despondent.” The demo’s international recognition, including features in Slowly We Rot magazine (Romania) and Guts N Blood Records’ Rotten Pages #8 compilation (Peru), set the stage for a full band lineup and the creation of their debut EP.
Recorded at Elektriccity Recording in Portland, Oregon (August 2025) and mixed/mastered by Charlie Koryn (October–November 2025), Abhorrent Atrocities Against All Humankind showcases ACERBIC at their most brutal and precise. From Gabriel’s guttural growls and banshee highs to Chris Hannan’s punishing drumming and Xander Provencher’s 6-string bass melodies complementing Thompson’s guitar riffs, this EP is a front-to-back assault that will satisfy fans with a taste for extreme, melody-laden metal.
The lead single, “Shallow Grave,” is accompanied by a striking music video produced by J. Donovan Malley, while the EP’s hand-painted cover art by Matt Stikker visually captures the EP’s dark intensity. Abhorrent Atrocities Against All Humankind will be available in limited CD and cassette editions via ACERBIC’s Bandcamp page.
Hailing from Olympia’s metal scene, ACERBIC continues to haunt stages along 4th Avenue, bringing uncompromising death-thrash to fans near and far.

Dessau, Germany — November 21, 2025 — German solo artist Chris Maragoth unveils his haunting new EP Depths of Despair , out now. The five-track release takes listeners on a journey through sorrow, reflection, and fragile beauty, blending Gothic and Symphonic Metal into a soundscape that is at once cinematic and deeply personal.
Featuring guest performances by Cherry Summerfield and Sanya Smileska, the EP expands Maragoth’s signature fusion of metal and classical instrumentation. From Sanya’s haunting viola on Hidden Signs of Sadness and Looming Evil to Cherry’s soaring vocals on the title track, each song explores the quiet pain beneath the surface and the catharsis that emerges from it.
The EP’s Baroque-inspired artwork mirrors the music’s emotional tone, depicting introspection, decay, and grace — a visual echo of the themes that thread through the record. Staying true to his creative ethos, Maragoth has crafted every note, arrangement, and visual entirely by human hands, consciously avoiding artificial intelligence in the process.
Two singles, History on Repeat (May 2025) and Hidden Signs of Sadness (October 2025), have already given fans a glimpse into the EP’s emotional core. Combined with three new compositions, Depths of Despair forms a cohesive narrative of loss, endurance, and fragile hope.
For fans of Apocalyptica, Empyrium, My Dying Bride, and Arch Enemy, Depths of Despair offers a space to pause, reflect, and experience the haunting beauty where melancholy meets intensity.

KNOW Unleash “VAULTLORD” A Ferocious Dive Into Power, Isolation, And The End Of The World New Single Out Now Worldwide - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KNOW Unleash “VAULTLORD” A Ferocious Dive Into Power, Isolation, And The End Of The World New Single Out Now Worldwide
Sydney based metal project KNOW also known as thebandknow , has released its crushing new single “VAULTLORD” , ahead of the official release date of November 7th, 2025 . Mixing the muscle of Groove Metal with the emotional weight and darkness of Melodic Death Metal , the track is tailor made for fans of Gojira , Sepultura , and Opeth .
“ ‘VAULTLORD’ is a powerful crossover of Groove Metal and Melodic Death Metal. ” The band’s own take says it all. The single digs into the bleak existence of a brutal, self centered survivor wandering a post apocalyptic world of his own making. Bound to a deathless fate, trapped by his own ego, he dreams of restoring the world yet fails to see he still craves power more than freedom. It’s a grim warning wrapped in riffs
the birth of the filthy, insensible oligarch
VAULTLORD .
KNOW’s Evolution
KNOW is the brainchild of Santosh Nanduri , a DIY multi instrumentalist who has shaped the project into a unique force blending Thrash, Groove, and Melodic Death Metal. His work pulls from deep human emotion, societal imbalance, and the chaos of modern living. There’s no pretense here
just raw, honest expression delivered through every instrument and every word.
The project has evolved sharply over the years. KNOW’s debut album Freedom explored Industrial, Nu Metal, and Electronic elements in a collaborative format. But since 2022, after lineup changes, Santosh forged a strict, heavier Metal direction that clicked with listeners. Singles like “Demoncracy” and “Blissful Spirit” marked the shift, gaining momentum and defining the band’s core strength.
“ VAULTLORD ” continues that rise, pushing the sound further, harder, and deeper.
Credits
Guitars, bass, vocals, and lyrics by Santosh Nanduri (Sydney, Australia)
Drums by Hugo Ribeiro (Moonspell, Portugal)
Mixed and mastered by Everland Studios (Sydney, Australia)

American psychedelic groove metal upstarts EverFelt are gearing up to unleash their new release “Stirring to Wake” on December 15, 2025 . Blending thick, hypnotic riffs with moody atmospheres and a dark melodic punch, the band delivers a sound that pulls straight from the ancestors while carving out its own twisted path forward. Fans of Tool, Alice N Chains, Black Sabbath, and even the mind–expanding swagger of The Doors will find plenty to sink their teeth into.
Formed in the summer of 2022, EverFelt is powered by the haunting voice and words of Adam Steglich , the expressive guitar work of Corey Robinson , the rhythmic foundation of Ryan Moore on bass, and the pulse and color brought by percussionist Danny Furlong . Their influences range from Alice N Chains and Audioslave to Pink Floyd and Slayer, but the band’s sonic identity is all their own
a swirling mix of psychedelic textures, groove-driven heaviness, and melodies that refuse to let go.
“Stirring to Wake” continues EverFelt’s devotion to crafting music that hits on a deeper level. Their sound channels the haze, the heaviness, and the hooks into something that doesn’t just sit in your ears
it gets under your skin. As the band puts it, music is the cornerstone of their existence, and with this release they aim to etch their energy permanently into the minds of anyone willing to take the trip.
The project was engineered by Shelby Preklas of Loud and Clear Studio , bringing clarity, weight, and atmosphere to EverFelt’s evolving sound.
EverFelt is ready to rise, ready to shake the dust off the scene, and ready to pull listeners into the world they’ve been building since day one. “Stirring to Wake” is the next step in that journey.
Release Date: December 15, 2025
Genre: Psychedelic Groove Metal

Death Reigns: The Story of Tennessee Metal Devastation Hits Thunderflix Worldwide Tomorrow - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Death Reigns: The Story of Tennessee Metal Devastation Hits Thunderflix Worldwide Tomorrow
Tennessee – November 20, 2025 – The metal world is about to get a front-row seat to a story of defiance, passion, and heavy riffs. Death Reigns , directed by Randall Kendrick, chronicles the rise of the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest , a DIY festival that brought extreme metal to the heart of the Bible Belt.
The documentary dives into the backlash faced by festival founders Zach Moonshine and Raven Moonla as they fought skeptics, naysayers, and local controversy to carve out a space for underground metal in Tennessee.
“The journey wasn’t easy,” says Zach Moonshine, co-founder of the fest. “People doubted us, tried to shut us down, and some even freaked out like it was 1985. But we never backed down. Metal survived—and now everyone gets to see how we did it.”
Death Reigns has already made waves on the festival circuit:
Best Documentary – Hub City Film Festival
Audience Choice Award 2025 – YoFiFest
Honorable Mention – YoFiFest
Community Impact Award Winner – Hub City Film Fest
Official Selection – Bare Bones Film Festival
Official Selection – Tallahassee Film Fest
The film will be available for streaming on Thunderflix worldwide starting 11-21-25 . Metalheads who haven’t yet joined Thunderflix can use the code BLACKMETALFRIDAY to save 50%.
This documentary isn’t just about a festival; it’s about a community, a culture, and the relentless spirit of metal thriving in the unlikeliest of places. Death Reigns captures it all—the music, the chaos, and the uncompromising will to keep metal alive in the Bible Belt.

VELVETCUT HONORS THE 90s GRUNGE ERA WITH THE GREAT CHAMELEON (NEW SKIN) REVITALIZED ALBUM DROPS NOVEMBER 21, 2025 VIA ROCKHOPPER MUSIC - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VELVETCUT HONORS THE 90s GRUNGE ERA WITH THE GREAT CHAMELEON (NEW SKIN)
REVITALIZED ALBUM DROPS NOVEMBER 21, 2025 VIA ROCKHOPPER MUSIC
Finnish alt-rock torchbearers Velvetcut are gearing up to unleash The Great Chameleon (New Skin) on November 21, 2025, a fully reimagined edition of their 2025 comeback album The Great Chameleon. This new version digs deep into the dirt and heart of the 90s grunge era, celebrating its rawness while pushing Velvetcut’s own evolution forward.
The Great Chameleon (New Skin) expands the original record with two previously unreleased tracks that shine a brighter light on the band’s range and roots:
• Carnival Of Lust – A heavy-grooved, hypnotic grunge crawler that even features spoon playing as a sly, respectful wink to Soundgarden’s iconic “Spoonman.”
• Rabbit Holes – A mellow, atmospheric dive into Velvetcut’s introspective side, showing the band’s talent for dynamic mood and texture.
The album also includes three songs originating from Velvetcut’s early 90s writing sessions. One standout is Run Rabbit Run , their newly recorded take on the cult classic originally performed by Finnish rock legends Smack . Smack left their fingerprints all over the late 80s West Coast underground, catching the ear of Kurt Cobain himself; early Nirvana even covered “Run Rabbit Run” live, with rare footage still floating around online for the diehards.
Velvetcut has long been known for blending grunge grit with melodic weight and atmospheric depth. After releasing three albums and stepping back in 2012, the band made a triumphant return in 2025 with The Great Chameleon. Now, New Skin gives the record a second life, honoring the band’s origins while sharpening their modern identity.
The album was engineered and mixed by Topi Wiio and mastered by Svante Forsback (Chartmakers) . Velvetcut is managed by Rockhopper Agency and released through Rockhopper Music .
The Great Chameleon (New Skin) lands on all major digital platforms November 21, 2025.

EMISSARY UNVEILS “THE SILENT TREATMENT” CAPITOL RECORDS MASTER A POWERFUL NEW TAKE ON A FAN FAVORITE CUT - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EMISSARY UNVEILS “THE SILENT TREATMENT” CAPITOL RECORDS MASTER
A POWERFUL NEW TAKE ON A FAN FAVORITE CUT
Release Date: November 24, 2025
Medford’s own Emissary is at it again, sharpening their USPM and melodic thrash edge with a newly unearthed version of “The Silent Treatment.” This alternate master, originally created during the production cycle for their 2022 full length “The Wretched Masquerade,” is finally getting its moment in the spotlight.
This isn’t just any alternate version either. This one was mastered by Grammy Award winning, RIAA Multi Platinum and Gold Mastering and Mix Engineer Evren Göknar , whose long tenure at Capitol Records put him behind the board for icons like KISS, Megadeth, and Queensryche. If you’re hearing shades of that classic sheen, you’re not imagining it.
The track appears on a brand new compilation album from Metallurg Music in Ukraine, set to drop in late November alongside issue #6 of Metallurg Magazine. It’s packed with an international lineup including DarkFlow, Hybridized, Rage Unfold, Silver Phantom, Celtic Hills, Everlust, Crystal Sword, and plenty more underground firepower.
Frontman Jym Harris breaks it down straight:
“We tried out a few different mastering engineers when ‘Wretched’ came out,” he says. “Jamie King mastered the full album for consistency, but Evren’s version always had a special character to it. We used his master on a limited summer tour EP and hardly anyone got their hands on that thing, so we’re stoked people can finally hear it again.”
Emissary continues building momentum after their debut album and their 2024 maxi single “The Crystal Witch,” with a new full length planned for 2026. The current lineup includes Jym Harris (vocals), Tim Dahlen (guitar), Charlie Francipane (guitar), Peter Shawn Kinney (bass), and Tony Mullins (drums).
For fans of Metal Church, Death Angel, Megadeth
(Zach’s take: I definitely hear the Metal Church punch, but there’s also a little early Sanctuary and a pinch of Forbidden attitude hiding in there.)
The compilation CD will be available through Emissary’s Bandcamp starting in December.

NIGHT OF THE SNAKE UNLEASH “LIPS LIKE VENOM” — A DARK, EAR-SPLITTING METALCORE STRIKE FROM TORONTO - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NIGHT OF THE SNAKE UNLEASH “LIPS LIKE VENOM” — A DARK, EAR-SPLITTING METALCORE STRIKE FROM TORONTO
Release Date: November 15, 2025
Genre: Metalcore/Deathcore
FFO: Bring Me The Horizon, As I Lay Dying, For The Fallen Dreams
Listen:
https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/nightofthesnake/lips-like-venom
/>
Toronto’s own Night Of The Snake return from the shadows with Lips Like Venom , a fresh blast of melodic brutality that hits with the same force that made the mid 2000s metalcore boom unforgettable. Formed in 2007, the band has always thrived on that perfect collision of gothic atmosphere, razor sharp riffs, and breakdowns designed to turn any pit into a demolition zone.
Fronted by the dual vocal onslaught of Remi and Alex, the band pulls off a rare balance of soul and savagery. Remi’s powerful, expressive leads twist around Alex’s monstrous range of gutturals and screams, creating a vocal chemistry that’s impossible to ignore. Their writing dives into the raw edges of humanity, pulling from themes of nature, emotion, and the darker corners of life without ever putting up walls around what they can explore.
Holding down the low end is Dani Blood, whose sheer presence and driving bass tone give the songs that chest-rattling backbone. Completing the strike team is drummer Kyle Craib, firing off a blend of precision and high energy that turns every track into a weapon. Together, they tap into the roots of the classic Myspace metalcore era while pushing forward with a sound built for today.
The new single arrives fully sharpened and lethal, crafted from the ground up by vocalist and producer Remi Monroe who handled production, mixing and mastering duties. The band describes the tone of the release with one chilling line
“From beneath my breath, dragged in her horror.”
No label. No management. Just pure dedication and a vision carved in steel.
Lips Like Venom is out now. Crank it, share it, and let it bite.
