Echo Cvlt has officially launched with its debut single “Diamond Hands (feat. Ragga Ragnars & Buzzsaw)” , out now on all platforms as of January 30, 2026. The track brings together Derek Engemann of Scour and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, performing under his new DJ persona Buzzsaw , with Ragga Ragnars, best known for her role as Gunnhild on the History Channel’s Vikings .
The first offering from music collective Echo Cvlt, “Diamond Hands” delivers hard-style EDM intensity fused with melodic pop structures and metallic guitar riffage. Built for high-impact sound systems and crossover audiences, the track blends club-driven energy with a cinematic edge that cuts across traditional genre lines. Fans of Darren Styles, DJ Isaac, and Steve Aoki will recognize the kinetic pulse, while the guitar work injects a darker, more aggressive identity.
For Engemann, Echo Cvlt serves as a parallel creative outlet beyond the confines of traditional heavy music. “There is a lot of music resting idle in the cellar,” he explains. “Ideas that never quite resonated in the right avenue… until now.” The main guitar hook for “Diamond Hands” dates back to 2008. “It was never abandoned. It just needed the right track to thrive.”
The collaboration came together in 2022 when Engemann and Ragnars met at a biohacking conference in Beverly Hills. Already familiar with her acting work, Engemann was struck by her vocal ability. “Once the music for Diamond Hands was completed, I kept hearing her presence in it, almost as if the riffs had already shaped themselves around her voice before she ever sang a note.” Coincidentally, Ragnars had just decided to return to music that same week, making the collaboration feel inevitable.
Tracking began in San Diego, followed by a production trip to Iceland, where the music video was filmed across Ragnars’ home landscape. The stark terrain, volatile weather, and shifting gray skies provide a visual counterpart to the track’s tension and intensity.
“ Diamond Hands hits with hard-style EDM intensity, melodic pop structures, and metallic guitar riffage. Powered by vocals from Ragga Ragnars, with Buzzsaw driving the production, the track ignites the dance floor and dares you to Hold On for Dear Life.”
“Diamond Hands” marks the beginning of an ongoing creative run for Echo Cvlt, with additional collaborations and new releases already in motion for 2026 and beyond.

ELECTROCUTIONER RETURN WITH RE-RECORDED SINGLE “VAMPIRE’S KISS” — A BLOODSOAKED THRASH TRIBUTE TO 80s CULT HORROR - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ELECTROCUTIONER RETURN WITH RE-RECORDED SINGLE “VAMPIRE’S KISS” — A BLOODSOAKED THRASH TRIBUTE TO 80s CULT HORROR
New Single Out February 6, 2026
Presave:
https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/electrocutioner/vampires-kiss
/>
Long Island horror-thrash maniacs Electrocutioner keep the voltage cranked with the release of their new standalone single “Vampire’s Kiss,” arriving February 6, 2026 . Riding the momentum of their upcoming sophomore album Harbinger (due Fall 2025 via CDN Records), the band unleashes a freshly re-recorded version of a fan-favorite track originally appearing on their early EPs—now reborn with sharper teeth and far deadlier production.
Inspired by the infamous 1988 cult film Vampire’s Kiss starring Nicolas Cage, the song dives headfirst into madness, delusion, and full-blown vampiric transformation. Equal parts horror movie homage and psychological descent, “Vampire’s Kiss” captures the moment where obsession turns to insanity—and sanity is the first thing drained dry.
“We re-recorded a couple older songs while tracking the album and felt this was the perfect time to unleash one,” says guitarist and vocalist Mark Pursino . “ Vampire’s Kiss is about becoming a vampire and completely losing your grip on reality. It’s unhinged, it’s violent, and it finally sounds the way we always wanted it to.”
Unlike Harbinger , “Vampire’s Kiss” is a standalone release , not tied to the upcoming album or any future record. It serves as a raw shot of classic Electrocutioner—reimagined with modern firepower—bridging the band’s early underground roots with their current, more ferocious incarnation.
Musically, the track leans hard into razor-sharp thrash riffs, sinister atmosphere, and horror-driven intensity , evoking the spirit of old-school East Coast thrash while keeping things mean, fast, and unpolished where it counts.
Electrocutioner is:
🎸 Guitars & Vocals – Mark Pursino
🔊 Bass – Rich Nieves
🥁 Drums – Tyler Bogliole
Guitars, Bass & Synths recorded by Rich Nieves
Produced, Mixed & Mastered by Joe Cincotta at Full Force Recording Studio
With Harbinger on the horizon and a steady stream of high-voltage releases planned, Electrocutioner are proving they are not slowing down—they’re feeding.
“Vampire’s Kiss” drops February 6, 2026. Prepare to lose your mind.

INCEPTION OF ETERNITY UNLEASH “DIGITAL MESSIAH” OUT NOW VIA darkSIGN-Records - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
INCEPTION OF ETERNITY UNLEASH “DIGITAL MESSIAH”
OUT NOW VIA darkSIGN-Records
German genre-bending act Inception Of Eternity have officially released their explosive new single “Digital Messiah,” available now on all major streaming and download platforms via darkSIGN-Records .
Blurring the lines between metal, gothic, rock, electronic, techno, and pop , “Digital Messiah” is a high-voltage collision of crushing riffs, electronic chaos, and modern metal power. Built for heavy playlists and massive stages, the track delivers relentless energy with a sharp, futuristic edge.
Lyrically, “Digital Messiah” explores a dystopian world where technology has become the new religion. Salvation is no longer found in churches, but in downloads, screens, lights, bass, and code. With lines like “Plug me in — I’m your holy code” and “Upload your sins, erase your screams,” the song turns digital addiction and club culture into a distorted sermon, while the anthemic chorus delivers a defiant message of survival through digital pain and chaos.
Musically, Inception Of Eternity seamlessly fuse pounding rhythms, massive low-end pressure, and razor-sharp modern production with crowd-commanding callouts and machine-like momentum. The track builds toward a hype-loaded bridge that feels purpose-built for live impact and maximum audience response.
The single artwork completes the vision, depicting a towering cybernetic figure standing like a metallic prophet in a burning industrial wasteland. It is a striking visual representation of the band’s dystopian, futuristic universe.
With “Digital Messiah,” Inception Of Eternity do not just release a song. They deliver a digital ritual that is loud, relentless, and impossible to ignore.
The official music video is also out now , expanding the track’s futuristic narrative into a full audiovisual experience.

VAULDERIE Unleashes Occult Black Thrash Devastation with New Album Sanguinoctum - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VAULDERIE Unleashes Occult Black Thrash Devastation with New Album Sanguinoctum
Out Now via Witches Brew (Germany)
Release Date: January 27, 2026
Germany’s underground continues to bleed black as VAULDERIE returns with Sanguinoctum , a ferocious new full-length steeped in occult ritual, vampiric menace, and raw black thrash violence. Released via Witches Brew , the album delivers eleven brand-new tracks of uncompromising extremity that refuse modern polish in favor of atmosphere, aggression, and blood-soaked authenticity.
From the ominous opening of “The Invocation” to the closing shadows of “Among the Aeries,” Sanguinoctum is a relentless assault fueled by classic black metal venom and thrash metal savagery. Riffs slash and burn, vocals snarl from the crypt, and the overall mood is pure nocturnal hostility. This is metal rooted in the underground, built for candlelit basements and scorched earth stages.
Tracks like “Calling the Blood,” “Nocturnal Hound,” and “Flight of the Gargoyles” showcase VAULDERIE’s ability to balance speed, darkness, and atmosphere without losing the primal edge. The album feels ritualistic, violent, and deliberate. No trends chased. No corners cut.
The rivers run red with the blood of the earth. The sky is blackened. The dead rise. This is not subtle music and it is not meant to be.
Genre: Occult Black Thrash
Label: Witches Brew (Germany)

ZETAR Opens the Gateway to the Spectral Realm with New Sci-Fi Black/Death Metal Assault - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ZETAR Opens the Gateway to the Spectral Realm with New Sci-Fi Black/Death Metal Assault
Release Title: Gateway to the Spectral Realm
Release Date: TBA
Genre: Sci-Fi Black/Death Metal
For Fans Of: Early Samael, Nocturnus, Immortal
Artist: ZETAR
From the cold void of deep space emerges ZETAR , returning with their most ambitious and ferocious release to date, Gateway to the Spectral Realm . Fueled by cosmic horror, retro-futuristic atmosphere, and unrelenting extreme metal violence, the album stands as a brutal evolution of the band’s sound and vision.
Formed in 2019 by Ryan Georgi as a solo project designed to channel transmissions from the depths of infinite space, ZETAR quickly evolved into a full-band international collaboration. With the addition of vocalist DM and drummer David Lanas , the project unleashed its debut full-length Devouring Darkness in 2021 via Spirit Coffin Publishing. The album earned strong acclaim in the underground and featured stunning artwork by legendary fantasy artist Bruce Pennington , cementing ZETAR as a rising force in sci-fi infused extreme metal.
After years of refining their sonic arsenal, ZETAR returns reconfigured and fully weaponized. Gateway to the Spectral Realm introduces Polish drummer Krzysztof Klingbein behind the kit and Nicolas Muller on lead guitar, pushing the band into darker, more complex, and unapologetically aggressive territory. Expect blast-driven mayhem, searing blackened riffs, punishing death metal weight, and ominous 80s-inspired synths colliding into a relentless cosmic barrage slated for release in 2026.
“With the addition of Krzysztof Klingbein and Nicolas Muller, Gateway to the Spectral Realm took shape out of the formless darkness, slowly crafting and sculpting itself into existence,” the band states. “The injection of creativity from this new blood pushed the album into frontiers previously unexplored. Expect a significant leap in songwriting, layered vocals, and intertwining synth lines locked in combat with martial riffs, blazing leads, and bass that prowls and punches.”
Lyrically, Gateway to the Spectral Realm dives headfirst into classic science fiction horror, exploring survival stripped of ethics and restraint. Augmented warlords, disease-ridden scavengers, parasitic immortals, and sentient machines populate a universe where domination sustains life and annihilation fuels progress. Flesh becomes currency, consciousness is weaponized, and evolution breeds monstrosity instead of salvation. Each track confronts the cost of power when morality is abandoned and violence becomes transcendence.
The album’s striking cover art and reimagined ZETAR logo were created by Alex Shadrin of Nether Temple Design , visually capturing the album’s grim, otherworldly essence.
Production Credits:
Guitars, bass, and synths recorded by Ryan Georgi
Vocals recorded by Thomas Prunet
Drums recorded by Krzysztof Klingbein
Lyrics by Ryan Georgi, except “Watchers from the Nebula” by Thomas Prunet
Mixed and mastered by Nekkomix
With no label constraints and no compromises, Gateway to the Spectral Realm is ZETAR at full strength. This is extreme metal for those who still believe the future should be hostile, alien, and merciless.
ZETAR is back. The gateway is open. Enter at your own risk.

Serpico, Artillery & Storm, Idol Throne, Ironbound, Jupiter Cyclops, Raven Black, Return To Darkness, and Babylon AD Dominate Latest Issue of Powerplay Rock & Metal Magazine (UK) - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Metal Devastation PR Bands Dominate Latest Issue of Powerplay Rock & Metal Magazine (UK)
Metal Devastation PR is proud to tip the horns to our longtime friends at Powerplay Rock & Metal Magazine for showing massive support in their latest UK issue, featuring a stacked lineup of reviews spotlighting a mountain of Metal Devastation PR clients.
This new issue pulls zero punches, delivering in-depth coverage of records from Serpico, Artillery & Storm, Idol Throne, Ironbound, Jupiter Cyclops, Raven Black, Return To Darkness , and Babylon AD . That is a serious cross-section of modern metal, from traditional and thrash to theatrical, stoner, and hard rock.
As if that wasn’t enough firepower, the issue is fronted by Alter Bridge on the cover , which means this one is guaranteed to move off shelves fast and land in the hands of real music fans who still read, collect, and care.
Highlights from the reviews include:
BABYLON AD – When The World Stops
The review acknowledges Babylon AD’s legacy and longevity, noting that while the production quality is rough and holds the album back, the songwriting still shines through. Tracks like the title song, “Don’t Ask Questions,” and “I Don’t Believe In You” deliver strong hooks and solid performances from the core lineup. Despite sounding undercooked, the record contains clear diamonds in the rough.
SERPICO – Dressed In Flesh
Serpico deliver old-school hard rock and metal with flashes of glam and NWOBHM influence. While the album shows stylistic variety and occasional strong moments, the review finds the vocal delivery distracting and inconsistent, ultimately hurting replay value. The band’s ideas are there, but the execution fails to fully connect with the reviewer.
ARTILLERY & STORM – A Narrow Escape
This EP is praised for experimentation and range, balancing darker moods with high-energy moments. The slowed-down, sinister reworking of “Seven Nation Army” stands out as a bold and effective reinterpretation. Original tracks like “wEird” and “Mirage” highlight the band’s versatility, groove, and willingness to explore new textures, suggesting strong creative momentum going forward.
IDOL THRONE – Harbinger Of Light
Idol Throne successfully blend thrash, power metal, and progressive elements across three distinct tracks. Each song explores a different stylistic direction, showcasing technical skill, dynamic songwriting, and strong musicianship. The EP is viewed as an intriguing introduction to a talented band with plenty of potential.
IRONBOUND – Serpent’s Kiss
Ironbound receive high praise for their traditional metal sound, heavily influenced by classic Iron Maiden-era riffs and galloping rhythms. The album is packed with memorable hooks, strong musicianship, and relentless energy throughout. While the influences are obvious, the songwriting and execution elevate the band above many peers, making this a standout release for fans of classic metal.
JUPITER CYCLOPS – Age Of The UFO_naut
The album is celebrated for its filthy, groove-heavy blend of seventies proto-metal, stoner rock, psych, and NWOBHM influences. Several tracks shine with catchy riffs and infectious energy, though inconsistent mixing slightly holds the record back. Despite this, the band’s personality, songwriting, and retro-heavy vision leave a strong impression and point to something special developing.
RAVEN BLACK – Black Sonata – The Dark Carnival Returns
Raven Black earn an overwhelmingly positive review for a deeply theatrical, cinematic, and emotionally intense gothic metal album. Produced by Ulrich Wild, the record is described as immersive, unsettling, and powerful, blending horror, storytelling, and heavy music into a cohesive experience. The album is praised as both a dark journey and a standout release in the genre.
RETURN TO DARKNESS – Eternal
This release revisits nineties-written material re-recorded with modern production, resulting in a record rooted firmly in classic eighties thrash. The album opens and closes strong, with several standout tracks in between, though some material is less memorable. Overall, the review highlights solid songwriting, strong performances, and a particularly impressive vocal delivery.
This kind of broad coverage in a respected UK print magazine like Powerplay is exactly why press still matters. Real writers. Real opinions. Real reach.
Huge thanks again to Powerplay Rock & Metal Magazine for the continued support and for shining a spotlight on underground, independent, and legacy artists alike. This is how scenes stay alive.
Metal is built on community, consistency, and showing up year after year. This issue proves that spirit is still very much alive and kicking.

BRAVEWORDS FEATURES LLOTH AND THEIR NEW VIDEO “BLACK THRONE” FROM ARCHEES LEGEONES (ANCIENT LEGIONS) VIA THEOGONIA RECORDS - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BRAVEWORDS FEATURES LLOTH AND THEIR NEW VIDEO “BLACK THRONE” FROM ARCHEES LEGEONES (ANCIENT LEGIONS) VIA THEOGONIA RECORDS
Legendary Greek black metal force Lloth has returned with a devastating new chapter in their storied career. The band has been featured by Bravewords.com , highlighting their striking new video for “Black Throne” , taken from their latest album Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions) , available now worldwide through Theogonia Records (Poland) .
Founded in 1995 by the iconic Tristessa , a pioneering figure in the Greek metal scene and founder of Astarte —the first all-female black metal band—Lloth quickly became a beacon of unholy darkness and relentless artistry. After a period of dormancy and following Tristessa’s tragic passing, the band reformed under the leadership of her husband Nicolas Maiis (Melanomorfos) , committing to carry forward her legacy through uncompromising black metal.
Their 2017 album Athanati (Immortal) was a monumental tribute to Tristessa, and now, Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions) pushes Lloth into new territory, blending thunderous riffs, soul-searing vocals, and epic storytelling into a full-throttle sonic assault. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at the acclaimed Pentagram Studio under the guidance of George Emmanuel (Lucifer’s Child, ex-Rotting Christ), the album is a visceral journey through ancient battles, Hellenic pride, and eternal resistance. The accompanying darkly evocative, hand-painted artwork by Mars Triumph underscores the album’s themes of blackened chaos and emotional depth.
Having shared stages with black metal titans Rotting Christ , Septic Flesh , and Hate , Lloth continues to honor Tristessa’s vision by organizing charity festivals in her name and solidifying their place in black metal history.
Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions) is out now worldwide. Watch the official video for “Black Throne” [here].

SÖNUS Unleash New Single “Pagan Woman” First Offering from Upcoming Album Planes of Torment - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SÖNUS Unleash New Single “Pagan Woman”
First Offering from Upcoming Album Planes of Torment
Release Date: February 14, 2026
Genre: Hard Rock, Stoner Rock, New Wave of Classic Rock
FFO: Led Zeppelin, The Cult, Uriah Heep
SÖNUS return with “Pagan Woman,” a hypnotic and hard-hitting new single that marks the opening chapter of their forthcoming album Planes of Torment . Set for release on February 14, 2026, the track serves as both invocation and warning, pulling the listener into a heavy metal pilgrimage shaped by loss, obsession, and transformation.
Rooted in the towering legacy of classic hard rock and early heavy metal, “Pagan Woman” fuses massive, blues-soaked riffs, sensual and ritualistic rhythms, and raw, commanding vocals. Drawing influence from bands like Led Zeppelin, The Cult, Uriah Heep, and Mountain, the song explores the unraveling of love and desire through themes of decay and renewal, destruction and rebirth. Heartbreak becomes ceremony. Longing becomes power.
Recorded live in the studio, “Pagan Woman” captures the primal force of a band playing without a safety net. Every note bleeds urgency, channeling obsession and awakening with the grit and grandeur of rock’s golden age. As the first track unveiled from Planes of Torment , it sets the tone for an album forged through hardship, resilience, and an unbreakable belief in the power of Rock.
SÖNUS is the vision of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter David Wachsman , following the Doom Charts–topping success of 2022’s Usurper of the Universe . After a period of personal collapse and reinvention, Wachsman assembled a formidable lineup to bring Planes of Torment to life. The album is the result of more than three years of relentless effort, literally shaped by blood, sweat, and tears.
Planes of Torment is a blistering journey through madness, heartbreak, and survival, recorded live to preserve the raw, untamed intensity of the band’s performances. It is heavy, human, and unflinchingly honest. The journey begins with “Pagan Woman.”

HOOK & LACE IGNITE WITH NEW SINGLE “BLAZE” Debut Full-Length Album “Unblossoming” Arrives in 2026 - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HOOK & LACE IGNITE WITH NEW SINGLE “BLAZE”
Debut Full-Length Album “Unblossoming” Arrives in 2026
UK-based solo artist Hook & Lace , the project of musician and producer Matt Corné , unleashes “Blaze” , the first single from the upcoming full-length album Unblossoming , out Friday, January 30th via Malonche Records .
“Blaze” hits hard and fast, blending technical riffing, crushing groove, soaring vocals, and a space-like atmospheric edge. It’s aggressive without being mindless, melodic without being soft, and completely uninterested in staying inside neat genre lines. Call it progressive metal if you need a label, but Hook & Lace plays by feel, not rules.
Created entirely independently by Corné, Hook & Lace thrives in the tension between noise and catchiness, heaviness and restraint. Fans will hear shades of Meshuggah’s rhythmic precision and Avenged Sevenfold’s melodic ambition , filtered through a singular vision that values impact over trends.
“ Blaze is the first single from Hook & Lace’s upcoming first full-length album, Unblossoming . It’s meant to hit immediately, then stick around. Heavy riffs, groove, atmosphere, and melody all colliding at once.”
Unblossoming marks the next chapter for Hook & Lace, expanding on this balance of intensity and space while continuing to defy easy categorization. Every note on the project was written, performed, produced, mixed, and mastered by Matt Corné himself, keeping the sound raw, focused, and fully uncompromised.

Unauthorized Wayne Static & Tera Wray Documentary to Be Self-Funded by Filmmaker Matt Zane - @thebeast
Unauthorized Wayne Static & Tera Wray Documentary to Be Self-Funded by Filmmaker Matt Zane
Los Angeles, CA — Filmmaker Matt Zane has announced that his unauthorized documentary focusing on late STATIC-X frontman Wayne Static and his wife Tera Wray will move forward as a self-funded project , following the failure of its recent crowdfunding campaign.
The campaign faced immediate challenges after the estates of both Wayne Static and Tera Wray publicly objected to the project less than 24 hours before its launch. The following day, Zane was issued a cease-and-desist notice from both estates , prompting significant backlash from fans and contributing to the campaign falling short of its funding goals.
Despite the setback, Zane says he remains committed to completing the documentary and will personally finance the project.
“I’m sure the estates and everyone over in the current STATIC-X camp thought that if they could prevent my funding, that would be the end of it,” said Zane. “I’m here to tell you I’ll move forward regardless and will self-fund this project to ensure that it’s made.”
A segment of the fan community previously accused Zane of pursuing the documentary as a “cash grab.” However, with the project now self-funded, all financial risk rests solely with the filmmaker, and the likelihood of profit is minimal. Zane maintains that financial gain has never been his motivation.
“Wayne and Tera asked me to make this. They were my friends,” Zane explained. “I couldn’t get it done while they were here, but I can do it now. They wanted their truth and their story out there, and they trusted me with all of their video projects. I won't let them down.”
Zane has also expressed a continued desire to engage in dialogue with the families of Wayne Static and Tera Wray regarding the film’s intent.
“I sincerely hope their families watch it,” he said. “I truly believe they will come to understand that my intention was always to honor Wayne and Tera’s wishes.”
Weekly updates on the progress of the documentary will be shared via Matt Zane’s Instagram account:

WitcheR Unveil Fourth Full-Length Album “Öröklét” and Release New Ritualistic Music Video - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WitcheR Unveil Fourth Full-Length Album “Öröklét” and Release New Ritualistic Music Video
Hungarian atmospheric black metal visionaries WitcheR have returned with their fourth full-length album, Öröklét (“Eternity”), now fully available on CD, cassette, and vinyl via Filosofem Records and Beveria Productions .
Building on the darkly immersive legacy of Lélekharang , Öröklét draws listeners into a vast, mystical soundscape where icy black metal grandeur meets the solemn elegance of classical composition. The album features four original compositions alongside a reimagined interpretation of Franz Schubert’s Piano Trio No. 2 – Andante con moto , seamlessly merging atmospheric black metal with centuries-old musical tradition.
Formed in 2010, Gere Karola (synths, vocals) and Neubauer Roland (guitars, drums, vocals) have steadily refined WitcheR’s ritualistic approach, drawing inspiration from Summoning , early Dimmu Borgir , and Wolves in the Throne Room . Their sound balances expansive synth layers, haunting melodies, and lyrical themes rooted in witchcraft, Hungarian folklore, and resistance to the modern world. Previous releases include Csendes domb (2015) and A gyertyák csonkig égnek (2019).
“This record is not merely music. It is a gateway. A moment of realization, when one understands that everything fades… and yet, everything remains eternal.”
— WitcheR
Recorded at Vrag’s Forest Studio between 2023 and 2025, Öröklét was entirely engineered, mixed, and mastered by the band. Artwork was created by Grafit & Hamu Artworks , visually echoing the album’s themes of time, ritual, and transcendence.
In addition to the album’s full release, WitcheR have unveiled a new music video for the title track “Öröklét.” The video stands as a unique visual document, created over the course of an entire year and inspired by ancient pagan rituals tied to solstices, witch traditions, and the natural cycle of the seasons.
“We didn’t just want to make a video clip, we wanted to experience the entire year in the spirit of the song.”
— WitcheR
The year-long creative process allows the video to convey the passage of time itself, reinforcing the song’s central themes of cyclicality, renewal, and the permanence left behind by all things that pass.
“This song and this video are about time. About how everything returns, and nothing passes without leaving a trace.”

For fans of atmospheric and symphonic black metal, Öröklét stands as a defining statement in WitcheR’s catalog, bridging the ephemeral and the eternal with unwavering conviction.

STIGMA Launch “SECOND CHANCE (Deluxe US/Export Edition)”
US & South American Touring Begins in 2026
Melodic metal and dark rock unit Stigma have released “SECOND CHANCE (Deluxe US/Export Edition)” , a global-focused expanded edition that brings the band’s catalog to new markets. Their sound blends dark romantic hooks and metallic edge for fans of HIM , The 69 Eyes , Volbeat , and Type O Negative .
With their international footprint growing fast, Stigma is currently routing a US Midwest tour for July 2026 , with South America targeted for late 2026 following strong traction in Brazil and Mexico. The band recently passed 20,000 followers on Facebook , marking a measurable spike in overseas engagement.
Formed in 2021, the German quartet features Gerald Zinnegger (vocals, lyrics), Markus Mantau (guitar), René Chlebnitschek (bass), and Bernd Paptistella (drums). Early EPs “Last Order” (2022) and “First Call” (2023) built their foundation, while the band’s debut full-length is planned for May 2025 .
Stigma also received international attention for their award-winning “Lies of War” music video, earning honors at festivals in New York, London, and Cannes. On the streaming side, their catalog has reached listeners in 100+ countries , supported by playlist placement and college radio including a Top 30 showing at WLTL 88.1FM and placement on the NACC Next chart.
Stigma’s message centers on embracing personal stigmas rather than hiding from them, a theme that resonates deeply with their growing fanbase known as the Stigmaniacs .
US Midwest Tour – July 2026
South America – 2026 (TBA)

METAL DEVASTATION PR CLIENTS CELEBRATE MAJOR FEATURE IN ROCK HARD MAGAZINE
Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce a major milestone this month as eleven of its artists were showcased in the latest issue of Rock Hard Magazine, one of the world’s most respected and longest-running authorities in heavy music journalism. The issue also features Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on the cover and includes specials on Kreator, Therion, SOEN and more, setting the tone for a stacked edition that bridges legacy, present, and the future of heavy music.
Within the magazine’s review section, artists represented by Metal Devastation PR earned standout coverage across a wide spectrum of subgenres ranging from blackened thrash to industrial metal, doom, progressive, folk-infused black metal, classic heavy metal, and technical death metal. Below is a summary of the highlights:
Gravewitch – Gravewitch (8/10)
Praised for expanding beyond raw blackened thrash into a sharper, more melodic and modern form while retaining their caustic edge. Rock Hard highlighted the band’s Skeletonwitch-like groove, wicked vocal delivery, and lethal riff construction.
Illusions of Grandeur – Curses (7.5/10)
Noted for their theatrical hybrid of classic metal and industrial textures, balanced by thoughtful songwriting and visual-driven concepts. The magazine pointed to their evolving identity and strong potential heading into future releases.
Medicine Horse – Medicine Horse (6.5/10)
Spotlighted for its unique fusion of Native American cultural themes, doom grit and ritualistic vocal performances. The review emphasized the album’s ancestral storytelling and raw invocation of history and identity.
Vulgar Devils – Witches Wheel (6.5/10)
Recognized as an unapologetic throwback to early eighties heavy metal, loaded with high-speed riffing and pure old-school adrenaline. The band’s refusal to modernize was highlighted as part of its charm.
Cruentus – End Without End (7/10)
Celebrated for its uncompromising black metal core blended with thrash and retro death metal elements. Rock Hard praised the album’s cohesion, sincere execution and ability to avoid clichés while staying rooted in tradition.
Táltos – Országrák (8/10)
Lauded for its blend of fierce black metal, Eastern European folk and political commentary. The review highlighted its ritualistic atmosphere, unconventional instrumentation and bleak social vision.
Waves Without Sound – Escape (8/10)
Called one of the most exciting new progressive metal projects from Australia. The magazine spotlighted its fusion of metal, electronics, folk textures and world influences backed by high musicianship and emotional resonance.
Acerbic – Abhorrent Atrocities Against All Humankind (7/10)
Commended for its brutal and technically charged approach to classic death metal. Reviewers noted the band’s overflowing energy, ripping vocals and mature instrumental precision.
Monastery Dead – Seeds of Apostasy (7.5/10)
Acknowledged for delivering relentless death metal marked by speed, chaos and unwavering conviction. The band’s two-decade legacy and resilience through lineup changes were noted as a testament to its consistency.
Philippe Drouin Obvurt – Le Chemin Du Gaucher (7/10)
Recognized for its bold double-guitar technique-driven death metal featuring Origin drummer John Longstreth. The review praised the technical mastery while noting its potential for deeper emotional development.
The Trousers – Necessary Evil (9/10)
The highest-rated title of the batch, hailed for its fresh take on vintage rock, garage energy and melodic swagger. Rock Hard emphasized the record’s personality, memorable songwriting and non-stop good vibrations.
Metal Devastation PR extends congratulations to all the featured artists and sincere thanks to Rock Hard Magazine for supporting independent heavy music and showcasing the diversity and global reach within today’s metal landscape.
