Antania Signs with Sound Works Direct Japan, Joining Ranks of Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Antania Signs with Sound Works Direct Japan, Joining Ranks of Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos

California-based genre-defying extreme metal innovators Antania continue their meteoric rise, now announcing their partnership with Sound Works Direct Japan (SWD) for representation in Europe and Japan. The deal places Antania alongside some of the heaviest hitters in extreme music, including Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos , solidifying their status as one of the most inventive forces in modern metal.

After storming stages across the globe with their unique fusion of black, death, doom, industrial, and experimental bass music, Antania’s unorthodox approach— no guitars, no strings, only crushing basslines, feral beats, and sheer metallic aggression —continues to set them apart. Their latest video for “ BloodLove ,” directed by Matt Zane and inspired by British serial killer Joanna Dennehy, showcases the band’s ability to merge dark storytelling with relentless sonic brutality.

Joel Spielman , manager at Extreme Management Group , comments:
"Antania has always pushed boundaries in extreme music. This partnership with SWD is a natural step for them, opening doors to new audiences and territories that are hungry for something truly unique."

Representing Antania in Asia, SWD Japan adds:
"After touring Japan with Marduk last November, it’s a real pleasure to work with ANTANIA and represent them in the Asian territory, helping them grow their presence here. This marks the beginning of a long journey together."

With influences ranging from Ministry to Slayer to The Prodigy , Antania’s sound hits like a sledgehammer— uncompromising, intense, and unapologetically brutal . Fans in Europe and Japan can now expect increased activity from the band, from festival appearances to exclusive releases, as they continue expanding their dark, genre-defying empire.

Brazil’s relentless metal force, As The Palaces Burn , return with a searing new single and video, UNITED OBSOLETION , premiering December 16, 2025. Taken from their acclaimed album ZODIAC , the track delivers a raw, uncompromising vision of a society teetering on collapse, where manipulation overrides critical thought and chaos becomes a calculated tool.

UNITED OBSOLETION doesn’t pull punches. It exposes collective exhaustion, institutional decay, and the emergence of a world driven by disinformation, fear, and division. From empty rhetoric to blind passions, the song captures the suffocating pressure of a system reshaping itself over the weakest.

The music video translates this grim reality into a visual manifesto, portraying moral decay, social unrest, and the unseen forces guiding our choices. It’s an unflinching reflection of modern times — a statement that sometimes silence is complicity, and obsolescence is shared.

As The Palaces Burn comment on the track:

“UNITED OBSOLETION is our mirror to the world we see — a reminder that to question, resist, and stay awake is more crucial than ever. The video amplifies that message with imagery as bold as the music itself.”

With ZODIAC already cementing the band’s reputation for crushing riffs, precise musicianship, and melodic heft, UNITED OBSOLETION pushes their message further — challenging listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and find strength in awareness.

For fans of: Gojira, Trivium, Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, Jinjer, Killswitch Engage

Velvetcut Unleashes Grunge-Infused Anthem “Chameleon” – Out Now - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Velvetcut Unleashes Grunge-Infused Anthem “Chameleon” – Out Now!

Helsinki, Finland – Finnish alternative rock outfit Velvetcut is back with a blistering new single, “Chameleon” , released Thursday, December 18th via Rockhopper Music . Following their comeback album The Great Chameleon (New Skin) , this track acts as an “afterparty single,” carrying forward the band’s bold, transformative sound.

“Chameleon” merges gritty, grunge-infused riffs with a contemporary alternative edge, drawing sonic nods to Stone Temple Pilots, Life of Agony, and System of a Down . With punchy, anthemic energy, Velvetcut delivers soaring vocal harmonies over electrifying guitars and a driving rhythm section, creating a track that is both familiar and fresh.

Thematically, “Chameleon” explores transformation and adaptability, reflecting Velvetcut’s growth as musicians and songwriters. The evocative lyrics and dynamic arrangements make it a standout track that resonates with long-time fans while attracting new listeners.

Velvetcut has carved out a distinct place in the alternative rock scene, fusing grunge’s raw power with melodic sensibilities. Their previous release marked a triumphant return after a brief hiatus, and “Chameleon” continues that journey, pushing the boundaries of their evolving sound.

“Chameleon is kind of an afterparty single for The Great Chameleon (New Skin) album,” the band says.

Katharein Unleash New Video and Triple Song Strike with “Talk To Me Loud” and Three New Tracks

Release Date: December 17, 2025
Location: Romania
Genre: Heavy Metal
For Fans Of: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth

Romanian heavy metal bruisers Katharein are not slowing down. They just dropped a brand new music video for “Talk To Me Loud” , and they backed it up the old school way by releasing three new songs at once . No gimmicks. No filler. Just riffs, volume, and intent.

The new video for “Talk To Me Loud” is out now on YouTube and captures everything Katharein has been building since day one. Sharp twin guitars, driving rhythm section, and vocals that cut through the mix instead of hiding behind it. This is metal that speaks up and means it.

Alongside the video, the band released three new tracks on December 17, 2025:

Let Us Touch the Sky

https://open.spotify.com/track/4anz65nRGooLQd4Rd4h1xZ?si=41f994671c234be6

Formed in 2022 by guitarist and vocalist Silviu S. , Katharein solidified their lineup with guitarist Skozy , bassist Joey , and drummer Matthias K . Their debut album Lucky Shots , released December 15, 2024, made serious noise and has already surpassed 100,000 streams across platforms. Their live debut at Rock the Camp Winter Edition in Cluj-Napoca proved they are just as dangerous on stage as they are in the studio.

These new releases show a band locked in and firing on all cylinders. Classic heavy metal roots, modern punch, and zero apologies. If you miss the days when metal bands wrote songs to be played loud and meant it, Katharein are speaking your language.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STELLAGEN Releases New Album A Fraction of Infinity — Out Now

Sydney’s rising metal force STELLAGEN has officially unleashed their second full-length album, A Fraction of Infinity , out now on all major streaming platforms and available physically via Bandcamp.

Known for blending the melodic punch of power metal with the aggression of melodic death and thrash, STELLAGEN delivers their most ambitious and emotionally charged release to date. The album features eleven tracks packed with intense riffing, soaring choruses, dynamic vocal shifts, and a relentless sense of scale.

The previously released single “I Regret” stands as a centerpiece of the album, showcasing the band’s signature balance of melody and ferocity, pairing raw emotion with crushing heaviness and memorable hooks.

A Fraction of Infinity dives deep into themes of existential dread, cosmic insignificance, betrayal, survival, and transformation. Musically, the album fuses intricate melodic death metal riffing with powerful, anthemic choruses, weaving clean and harsh vocals together with shredding leads and complex arrangements that reward repeat listens.

Led by vocalist and guitarist Phil Brown, STELLAGEN continues to carve out their identity with emotionally driven songwriting and tight, technical musicianship. The album features Robin Stone on session drums, with mixing handled by Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, Dream Theater) and mastering by Brett Caldas-Lima at Tower Studio. Album artwork by Ben Fowler of 4th Perspective perfectly captures the dark, expansive atmosphere of the release.

For fans of Rage, Dark Tranquillity, and Children of Bodom, A Fraction of Infinity is a powerful statement from a band pushing forward without forgetting where metal came from.

Blabbermouth, Metal Injection, MetalSucks, Lambgoat, The PRP & MetalAddicts Amplify Ongoing Matt Zane Documentary Controversy - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Blabbermouth , Metal Injection , MetalSucks , Lambgoat , The PRP & MetalAddicts Amplify Ongoing Matt Zane Documentary Controversy

Wayne Static, STATIC-X , and Matt Zane at Center of Widely Covered Metal Industry Dispute

Metal Devastation PR proudly acknowledges and thanks the metal media community for the extensive coverage surrounding our client, filmmaker Matt Zane, and his forthcoming documentary centered on the lives of the late Wayne Static and Tera Wray.

Major outlets including Blabbermouth, Metal Injection, MetalSucks, Lambgoat, The PRP, MetalAddicts, and numerous others have published detailed reports addressing the recent cease and desist issued by the Wayne Static estate, as well as Zane’s response and continued commitment to completing the film.

The coverage outlines the complex and highly publicized dispute between an artist’s estate and a filmmaker with a long-standing personal and professional relationship with the subjects of the documentary. Zane, who directed multiple music videos and projects for Wayne Static and STATIC-X, has publicly stated that his intention is to honor the story Wayne and Tera personally asked him to tell, emphasizing that his film differs in scope and purpose from the officially sanctioned STATIC-X documentary currently in production.

Media reports have also highlighted Zane’s extensive background in the rock and metal world, including award-winning documentary work and collaborations with artists such as Zakk Wylde, John 5, DMC, Wednesday 13 , and STATIC-X themselves. Despite public criticism and legal pressure, Zane has reiterated that the project will move forward while respecting the estate’s control over unreleased music and officially licensed material.

As the situation continues to develop, the widespread coverage demonstrates the metal community’s ongoing interest in discussions surrounding artistic legacy, creative rights, and the preservation of music history. The conversation has sparked strong reactions across fans, artists, and industry professionals alike, reinforcing the importance of responsible, accurate press coverage in moments of controversy.

Metal Devastation PR extends its appreciation to all media outlets involved for presenting the facts, providing context, and keeping the discussion transparent and accessible to the global metal audience.

Wayne Static Estate Issues Cease and Desist to Matt Zane — He Vows: “This Won’t Stop Me” - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wayne Static Estate Issues Cease and Desist to Matt Zane — He Vows: “This Won’t Stop Me”

Los Angeles, CA — The estate and family of late STATIC-X frontman Wayne Static have issued a cease and desist letter to filmmaker Matt Zane , following their recent public statement in which they “strenuously object” to Zane’s announcement of an unauthorized documentary focusing on Wayne Static and his wife, Tera Wray .

The legal notice arrived just days after the family made clear they were prepared to take action to halt any unapproved production. In a statement, the families said, “We are not interested in the further development of any unauthorized biography or documentary...”

Zane, however, remains defiant.

“This won’t stop me. I’m ready and willing to take this as far as it goes. If it ends up in court, so be it. This movie will be made and released if it’s the last thing that I do,” said Zane.

Zane has also questioned why his project has been singled out when multiple unauthorized documentaries about Wayne Static already exist online.

“If you go to YouTube right now you’ll see multiple unauthorized documentaries about Wayne Static with hundreds of thousands of views. None of them were threatened with legal action. I’m the only one served with a cease and desist letter — and I haven’t even started production yet. Why am I being singled out?” Zane stated.

Since news of the estates disapproval broke, Zane has faced intense backlash from segments of the fan community. He believes much of the criticism stems from a lack of awareness about his long-standing personal and professional relationship with Wayne Static and Tera Wray.

“Most people attacking me simply don’t know my history with Wayne and Tera or the work I’ve done over the past 15 years,” Zane explained.

Zane pointed to his filmmaking credentials and extensive work within the rock and metal world.

“My first documentary, DV Karloff: The Altered Noise , won an award at the American Horrors Film Festival. I’ve worked with Zakk Wylde, John 5, DMC, Wednesday 13 and more, directing commercials and music videos. STATIC-X themselves hired me for multiple music videos, commercials, and social media content. Wayne hired me for all of his video work after STATIC-X. My career may have started in adult films, but I haven’t been in that world for many years.”

Despite presenting what he considers clear facts, Zane says some critics refuse to reconsider their stance. The controversy has prompted him to reflect on a private exchange he once had with Wayne Static.

“Since this all started, it made me remember something Wayne told me once that’s helped me stay focused. I actually searched to see if I still had the email so I could relay it properly,” said Zane.

According to Zane, Wayne Static wrote:

“I’ve always felt people are too dumb to understand what’s really going on around us. It seems like you share that feeling.”

As tensions escalate, the dispute appears far from over. Whether resolved privately or in court, Zane insists the documentary will move forward — setting the stage for a highly publicized clash between an artist’s estate and a filmmaker claiming to honor his late friend’s legacy.

Rock Hard Magazine Spotlights Metal Devastation PR Artists in Massive New Issue - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rock Hard Magazine Spotlights Metal Devastation PR Artists in Massive New Issue

Big wins still matter, and this one is a monster.

Metal Devastation PR proudly sends a huge thank you to the legendary Rock Hard Magazine for featuring several of our artists in the latest issue. This edition is stacked to the ceiling, with Alter Bridge, Yungblud, Moonspell, Amorphis and more on board, which means serious circulation and real-world exposure. The kind that actually moves the needle.

That spotlight shines directly on St. Unholyness, Mordeth, On The Loose, Kaldeira, Psyc 6, and Jord , putting these artists in front of fresh eyes and new ears across the global metal community. This is exactly what strong, long-game PR is supposed to do.

Featured Artists Highlights

PSYC 6
Hailing from Sweden, melodic groove metal outfit Psyc 6 are currently forging ahead with a new lineup and new material. Their single Swallow the Pill pulls no punches, taking aim at a broken healthcare system and the emotional numbness it creates. Darker times demand darker music, and Psyc 6 are leaning into that truth with intent. A new album is planned for 2026.

MORDETH
Brazilian death metal veterans Mordeth return with Hermetic Creation , a brutal and thought provoking dive into sci-fi occultism. Blending atmosphere with raw aggression, the band explores the fusion of spirit, machine, creation, and destruction. Rooted in Hermetic philosophy and powered by South American intensity, this release proves Mordeth are still evolving without losing their teeth.

ON THE LOOSE
Portugal’s On The Loose deliver epic, theatrical doom metal on Path to Serenity . Founder Marco Marouco describes the album as a turning point, moving from depression toward balance and clarity. Lyrical themes explore awareness, resistance, and the reality that what matters most is how we choose to live between the beginning and the end.

KALDEIRA
From Reunion Island, Kaldeira introduce a bold new chapter with Fournaise . Formerly known as The Hill Is Burning, the band embraces a stronger identity tied to the volcanic origins of their home. Their progressive metal sound blends Western heaviness with the raw, ritualistic energy of Maloya, creating something fierce, cultural, and unmistakably their own.

ST. UNHOLYNESS
Germany’s St. Unholyness confront darkness head-on with Through High Holy Haze . Fueled by personal trauma and hard-earned self awareness, the band’s stoner doom approach thrives on contrast and provocation. Their message is blunt and honest. Growth comes from conflict, and light only exists because shadow does too.

JORD
Swedish atmospheric black metal project Jord draws inspiration directly from nature itself. Founder Jörgen Ström writes much of the material while walking alone through forests, allowing silence and space to shape the music. Influenced as much by Alcest, Katatonia, and cinematic composers as by black metal tradition, Jord delivers emotional weight, mystery, and quiet power.

Why This Matters

Rock Hard Magazine is not just another feature. It is a trusted institution in heavy music, with decades of credibility and a readership that still buys magazines, still listens deeply, and still supports bands that earn it.

This is what effective metal PR looks like. Real coverage. Real platforms. Real results.

Metal Devastation PR is proud of every artist featured, and grateful to Rock Hard Magazine for continuing to support underground and independent metal worldwide.

That’s what it’s all about.

New York, NY – The war drums are pounding and WOLFENSTEIN is storming the gates. The feral death-speed trio has officially joined forces with CDN Records and will strike hard with their forthcoming sophomore assault, Death Brigade , set to obliterate speakers on January 31st, 2026. Pre-orders are live now across all major platforms.

Emerging from the raw underground of New York’s metal scene, WOLFENSTEIN delivers an unrelenting cocktail of death, thrash, and speed metal that hits like a warhead. Channeling the fury of Bathory, Sodom, Kreator, Razor, Whiplash, and Venom, their sound is a merciless onslaught — a full-speed blitzkrieg for the brave and the bold.

Formed in late 2021/2022 by founding members Peter “The Crippler” Aversa, Miles “Animal” Manuse, and Nicholas Wesley, the trio made waves with their debut album Capital Punishment (2025). Now, fully armed and tighter than ever, Death Brigade promises an escalation of blood-fueled chaos, neck-snapping riffs, and a relentless pace that leaves nothing standing.

“There is no discharge in this war,” the band warns. Fans are advised to brace for total annihilation — WOLFENSTEIN is here, and nothing survives their sonic bombardment.

Pre-Orders for Death Brigade are live now. Lock and load.

Blabbermouth, Rockfeed, The PRP, Lambgoat, Metal Injection, Metal Sucks, Metal Addicts, Blunt Magazine, and The Mosh Network Cover Ongoing Conversation Surrounding Matt Zane’s Wayne Static Documentary - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Blabbermouth, Rockfeed, The PRP, Lambgoat, Metal Injection, Metal Sucks, Metal Addicts, Blunt Magazine, and The Mosh Network Cover Ongoing Conversation Surrounding Matt Zane’s Wayne Static Documentary

A wide range of top metal media outlets including Blabbermouth , Rockfeed , The PRP , Lambgoat , Metal Injection , Metal Sucks , Metal Addicts , Blunt Magazine , and The Mosh Network have been reporting extensively on the developing situation surrounding filmmaker and Metal Devastation PR client Matt Zane and his upcoming documentary focused on Wayne Static.

The project has become a particularly sensitive topic following a joint statement from the families of Wayne Static (STATIC X) and Tera Wray, who expressed “strenuous objection” to the film and requested that any rare or unpublished footage in Zane’s possession be submitted for possible use in the official Evil Disco documentary currently in development.

Matt Zane Responds to the Estate’s Objection

Zane issued a detailed response addressing the concerns and explaining the intent of his project:

“I understand the family’s concerns, especially Wayne’s sister Aimee who is a wonderful person, but my obligation isn’t to the families, it’s to Wayne and Tera. They asked me to do this, and I know they would want the focus to be on the two of them.”

Clarifying His Role in the Official Evil Disco Documentary

Zane also addressed confusion regarding his involvement with Evil Disco :

“I think the family is a bit confused about the creation of the official documentary Evil Disco. I was hired and edited about 85 percent of that and in good faith allowed my footage to be used within the edit. I never signed over the footage legally but was willing to do so if the agreed-upon terms were met. I also allowed my personal footage of Wayne to be used in multiple music videos such as Stay Alive and All These Years even though the band hasn’t officially licensed it from me.”

He emphasized that both films can coexist:

“I personally think both movies can exist. I watched a working cut of Evil Disco with Wayne’s sister Aimee and it’s really cool, but it’s more about the band past and present. My movie is about Wayne and Tera.”

Unreleased Music and Future Plans

Zane confirmed that he will not use unreleased Wayne Static recordings without full consent from the family:

“As far as the unreleased music, unfortunately I’m unable to use any of that without the family’s consent. What I may do is create tracks based off of the music Wayne and I worked on and bring in other singers, similar to what Jonathan Davis did for Queen of the Damned.”

He also noted the existence of previously unheard Wayne Static material:

“But I can tell you this, there are six tracks Wayne wrote and recorded that I did not have any part in that are truly his final solo works. Yes, his vocals are on them and they were done in 2013.”

About the Documentary

Zane’s film is designed to be a personal, emotionally driven account focused on the relationship between Wayne Static and Tera Wray a story he maintains the couple asked him to tell. The crowdfunding campaign for the film is now active on IndieGoGo.

Metal Devastation PR thanks all media outlets who have approached the situation with professionalism and care as the conversation continues to unfold throughout the metal community.

Matt Zane Responds to Wayne Static Estate’s Objection to Upcoming Documentary - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Matt Zane Responds to Wayne Static Estate’s Objection to Upcoming Documentary

Los Angeles, CA — Following a joint statement from the families of Wayne Static (STATIC-X) and Tera Wray expressing “strenuous objection” to filmmaker Matt Zane’s recently announced documentary, Zane has issued a detailed response addressing the concerns and clarifying the intent of his project.

The families’ statement asked that any rare or unseen footage in Zane’s possession be submitted for review and possible inclusion in the official Evil Disco documentary, which is currently in development with the approval of Wayne’s estate.

Zane, who had a long personal and creative relationship with both Wayne and Tera, responded:

“I understand the family’s concerns, especially Wayne’s sister Aimee who is a wonderful person, but my obligation isn’t to the families — it’s to Wayne and Tera. They asked me to do this, and I know they would want the focus to be on the two of them.”

Zane Clarifies His Role in the Official Evil Disco Documentary

In response to the estate’s request regarding material, Zane stated that there has been confusion surrounding his involvement with Evil Disco .

“I think the family is a bit confused about the creation of the official documentary Evil Disco . I was hired and edited about 85% of that and in good faith allowed my footage to be used within the edit. I never signed over the footage legally for use but was willing to do so if the agreed-upon terms were met. I also allowed my personal footage of Wayne to be used in multiple music videos such as Stay Alive and All These Years even though the band hasn’t officially licensed it from me.”

Zane emphasized that his film will not conflict with the narrative direction of Evil Disco , noting that the two projects serve very different purposes.

“I personally think both movies can exist. I watched a working cut of Evil Disco with Wayne’s sister Aimee and it’s really cool, but it’s more about the band — past and present. My movie is about Wayne and Tera.”

Unreleased Music and Future Plans

Zane also confirmed that the unreleased Wayne Static music he had hoped to include will not be used without explicit approval from the estate.

“As far as the unreleased music, unfortunately I’m unable to use any of that without the family’s consent. What I may do is create tracks based off of the music Wayne and I worked on and bring in other singers, similar to what Jonathan Davis did for Queen of the Damned .”

However, he revealed the existence of additional solo material recorded by Wayne that has never been made public.

“But I can tell you this: there are six tracks Wayne wrote and recorded that I did not have any part in that are truly his final solo works. Yes, his vocals are on them and they were done in 2013.”

About the Documentary

Zane’s film is intended to be a personal, emotionally driven account focused on the relationship between Wayne Static and Tera Wray — a story he says the couple explicitly wanted him to tell.

Metal Devastation PR Artists Autumn Lies Buried and Hexjakt Featured in Metal Hammer’s Biggest Issue of the Year - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Metal Devastation PR Artists Autumn Lies Buried and Hexjakt Featured in Metal Hammer’s Biggest Issue of the Year

Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that two of our artists, Autumn Lies Buried and Hexjakt, have been featured in Metal Hammer ’s massive “Best of 2025” issue, Metal Hammer #408. This is the magazine’s flagship edition of the year, loaded with their top 50 albums, the biggest stories in metal, exclusive Iron Maiden merch, and a full look back at a year that shook the scene to its core. Landing our clients in this issue is no small feat. It’s the kind of placement every band wants and only the heaviest hitters get.

The new issue features a full review of Hexjakt’s new album Blessing Of The Damned and an artist spotlight on Autumn Lies Buried . Both pieces hit hard and shine a bright, brutal light on what these bands are doing right now.

Hexjakt: “Blessing Of The Damned” Review

Metal Hammer delivers a blistering and atmospheric take on Sweden’s rising power trio, praising their ability to summon doom-laden grandeur only a year into their existence. The review highlights the band’s longform songwriting, murderous atmosphere, lumbering power chords, and their ability to twist Dio’s “Don’t Talk To Strangers” into their own molasses-thick, sepulchral vision. Hammer calls Blessing Of The Damned proof that Hexjakt can throw their own shadow over an already ashen canvas.

Autumn Lies Buried: Artist Feature

The magazine also spotlights Tennessee’s own Autumn Lies Buried , digging into the band’s evolution from local emo-named curiosity to a beastly, hip-hop-tinged nu-deathcore unit. Metal Hammer breaks down their slab-heavy grooves, scorching vocals, and the raw, real-world fury powering their music. Between stories of their Clarksville roots, their sonic shift, and the anger behind songs like “Guillotine,” the feature shows a band unapologetically carving out their place in the modern extreme scene.

Why This Matters

Metal Hammer #408 isn’t just another issue. This is the one fans hold onto all year. The Iron Maiden pin, the Halestorm sticker, the 2026 calendar, the tributes, the losses, the milestones, the world records, the fires, the chaos, the triumphs… all of it is in this edition. Being included here puts our artists in front of the biggest global readership Metal Hammer hits all year. This is prime real estate.

For Hexjakt and Autumn Lies Buried , this is exposure on an entirely different level. For our team at Metal Devastation PR, it’s another moment proving what we’ve always said: underground bands deserve — and can absolutely earn — major-league visibility when the music hits hard enough.

Huge thanks to our friends at Metal Hammer UK for the continued support and for shining a spotlight on two bands who are absolutely tearing it up right now.

More coverage to come. More havoc on the way.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wayne Static & Tera Wray Documentary Crowdfunding Campaign Officially Launched With Video

Director Matt Zane to Begin Production in January 2026

Director Matt Zane has officially launched the crowdfunding campaign for the upcoming documentary centered on Wayne Static and Tera Wray , marking the first full-length film dedicated to the couple’s life, love, and creative world.

“It’s finally happening all these years later, and I can’t wait to give Wayne and Tera what they wanted — a movie about their love and dedication to each other amidst the insane and wild world that they created,” said Zane.

Production is scheduled to begin in January 2026 , with Zane — a longtime friend and collaborator of Wayne Static — set to both direct and produce the project.

“Most people are unaware that I knew Wayne for about 14 years, and I actually knew his wife Tera before him,” Zane explained. “We were all close, and I worked on every project he did after leaving STATIC-X.”

Zane previously directed all of Wayne’s solo music videos, including “Pighammer Promo,” “Assassins of Youth,” and “Noise Revolution” featuring DMC. At the time of Wayne’s passing, the trio had been developing several additional projects, including an unfinished docuseries documenting Wayne and Tera’s life together.

The film will also feature previously unreleased music created by Zane and Wayne, adding an exclusive and deeply personal element to the documentary.

Fans and supporters can watch the announcement video and explore the full details of the documentary — including exclusive perks and rewards — by visiting the project’s IndieGoGo campaign page.

VULNIFICUS Unleash Their Debut Full-Length INCLINATION — A Surgical Strike of Brutal Death Metal Extremity Out Now on Comatose Music - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VULNIFICUS Unleash Their Debut Full-Length INCLINATION — A Surgical Strike of Brutal Death Metal Extremity
Out Now on Comatose Music

VULNIFICUS have officially dropped their long-awaited first full-length album INCLINATION , and it’s already making the brutal death metal underground sit up straight like they got hit with a defibrillator. After four years of grinding through EPs, lineup changes, tours, and nonstop evolution, the band has arrived with a fully realized, fully weaponized statement piece.

INCLINATION is a vicious concept album that drags listeners into the mind and downfall of a corrupt medical provider who manipulates the system, blackmails colleagues, overdoses patients, and ultimately faces execution for his crimes. Each track dives into a different chapter of this spiral, turning the record into a grim, gripping experience built on tension, violence and suffocating heaviness.

This debut full-length marks a major milestone for VULNIFICUS. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Scot Moriarty at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, New Jersey, with additional vocal tracking by E. Browne at Superlative Sound in Pittsburgh, the album hits with a clarity and brutality that stands miles above anything the band has done before. It's the definitive sound of VULNIFICUS leveling up.

Since forming in 2021, the band has pulled brutal death metal back to its raw, no-nonsense roots while injecting enough modern power to flatten a small city. Their early releases INNOMINATION and INVOCATION won over diehards worldwide, leading to a sold-out Indonesian tape release, a U.S. tour with Cordyceps, and festival slots like Gulfcoast Deathfest. With a fully locked-in lineup—Eston (vocals), Jamison Parker and Evan Daniele (guitars), Mike Jones (bass), and Jason McLean (drums)—VULNIFICUS are entering this new era firing on every cylinder.

For fans of: Suffocation, Immolation, Deeds of Flesh
Label: Comatose Music
Album: INCLINATION — Out Now

Production Credits:
Vocals recorded by E. Browne at Superlative Sound
Strings recorded by VULNIFICUS
Drums recorded by S. Moriarty at Backroom Studios
Mixed and mastered by S. Moriarty
Intros/outros by BWNTWN SOUND
Guest performances and artwork details remain as listed in the official credits
Management: Extreme Management Group (EMG)

Regarding the album concept, the band states:
“ INCLINATION tells a story of a medical provider who infiltrates the system through medical malpractice and imposes his will on other doctors and nurses through blackmail to keep them silent. He over medicates patients to become addicted to opioids himself and then receives the penalty of death once convicted in court. Each song goes through these stages individually and from different perspectives. ”

INCLINATION is out now and carving its path through the scene. With this record, VULNIFICUS cement themselves as one of the most dangerous forces in modern brutal death metal.

St. Unholyness Drop Surprise Pantera Tribute Blacktooth Brothers as Momentum Builds from Last Month’s Hybrid Video Release - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

St. Unholyness Drop Surprise Pantera Tribute Blacktooth Brothers as Momentum Builds from Last Month’s Hybrid Video Release

Tribute Release Out Now on Bandcamp
Hybrid Music/Lyric Video for Dampflok des Todes Released Last Month
Album: Through High Holy Haze
Pfarrkirchen, Germany

St. Unholyness just rolled out a surprise gut-punch in the best way possible: a brand new tribute track honoring Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul. Blacktooth Brothers (Abbott Brothers Tribute) is out now on Bandcamp, raising a glass to the Abbott brothers and the impact they left carved deep into heavy music. It’s loud, it’s sincere, and it carries the kind of spirit that hits you right in the chest.

Built on thick, doom-kissed riffs and that gritty Chromed Stoner Doom with Groove and Style that the band has made their own, this tribute is a straight shot of appreciation. The kind of thing Dime and Vinnie would’ve nodded at with a grin.

The new track lands on the heels of last month’s release of their hybrid music/lyric video for Dampflok des Todes , the second visual offering from their debut album Through High Holy Haze . The video blends performance energy with lyric-driven atmosphere, laying out the song’s story of mortality, reflection, and the rough edges of life’s long ride.

“This tribute is personal,” Christina says. “Dime and Vinnie shaped so much of the heavy world we all live in. Dropping this track felt like the right way to honor them.”

About St. Unholyness
Formed in 2017 by Christina Earlymorn and Mac Carrigan, St. Unholyness have carved out their own lane in the stoner doom underground. Their debut album Through High Holy Haze —written, produced, and mixed entirely by Christina—combines stoner doom weight, blues grit, and blackened atmosphere into eight tracks that cut deep. The band keeps pushing forward, staying true to the grind and the craft.

Blacktooth Brothers (Abbott Brothers Tribute) is available now on Bandcamp.

Bulgarian Visionary Ivan Shishkov Unleashes His Debut Metal Album WHEN YOUR DEMONS COME Under the Project Name BRAINMAZE - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bulgarian Visionary Ivan Shishkov Unleashes His Debut Metal Album WHEN YOUR DEMONS COME Under the Project Name BRAINMAZE

After more than a decade of grinding in the shadows, Bulgarian musician and photographer Ivan Shishkov steps into the light with the release of WHEN YOUR DEMONS COME , the debut full length from his solo project BRAINMAZE. This record is the result of ten years of persistence, late night creativity, and a whole lot of fire that refused to die.

Every track on the album first came alive on Ivan’s bass guitar, the instrument that has been by his side since the beginning. These riffs and ideas lived in his mind for years before being shaped into the intense and aggressive sound now etched into the album.

“This music has lived in my head for years,” Ivan says. “Now it’s finally real.”

Working on the project whenever life allowed, often past midnight, Ivan pushed boundaries with arrangements, styles and structures. The album digs straight into the darkness we all carry, confronting the demons that crawl out when we’re alone without our armor. Fear, spite, despair... nothing gets sugar coated here.

BRAINMAZE is a true solo effort in concept, music, lyrics, photography and design, but Ivan brought in an international lineup of exceptional musicians to make the vision whole. The album features performances from:

Rob Davies /UK/ – vocals
Ramon Martinez /Venezuela/ – rhythm and lead guitars
German Maldonado /Argentina/ – guitar solos on “Despair,” “Uncertainty,” and “Envy”
Fabian Carrion Troya /Ecuador/ – midi drums
David Mendez /Argentina/ – acoustic drums

Recording and production support came from Ilarion Ivanenko /Ukraine/ on editing and mixing, with final mastering by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering /USA/.

After endless rounds of recording, re recording, editing and passing files around the world, the album now stands complete.

“Yes,” Ivan says, “I managed to bring to life the vision I’ve carried for over 10 years. I believe that soon, I will come out of the darkness and return to the real world.”

WHEN YOUR DEMONS COME is available now, ready to drag listeners deep into the heart of BRAINMAZE.

Long live the king METAL!

Horror Scene Featured in SPIN Magazine – Harrisburg Industrial Goth Horror Metal Making Waves - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Horror Scene Featured in SPIN Magazine – Harrisburg Industrial Goth Horror Metal Making Waves

Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that clients Horror Scene have been featured and interviewed in SPIN Magazine , gaining national recognition for their unique sound and growing presence in the metal world.

Described by SPIN as “heavy stuff coming out of Harrisburg, PA… Sepultura vibes with an industrial/goth edge… like Slipknot meets Sisters of Mercy,” Horror Scene is turning heads with their distinctive style, which they call Industrial Goth Horror Metal .

In the interview, the band discussed their creative process, explaining how riffs and ideas from one song often evolve into entirely new compositions. Horror Scene cited influences ranging from Alice Cooper, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Pantera, and Misfits to even a touch of hair metal, creating a wide-ranging and unpredictable sonic palette.

The band also explained their recent name change, a move driven by evolving social media algorithms and cultural trends, ultimately arriving at a moniker that reflects both their music and their theatrical stage personas.

Highlighting their momentum, Horror Scene’s single “Welcome to Your Hell” recently reached #20 on the Metal Contraband Top 50 Metal Charts , further cementing their rising status in the underground metal community.

“Music is very healing and cathartic,” the band noted, “and in these uncertain times, it’s a way to forget everything else and immerse yourself in the soundscape around you.”

With a clear vision and relentless drive, Horror Scene continues to push boundaries in metal, proving that heavy music with a dark, theatrical edge still has a vital place in today’s musical landscape.
