Bravewords Spotlights Night Of The Snake’s New Single and Video “Lips Like Venom”

Bravewords has thrown major support behind Toronto metalcore hitters Night Of The Snake , featuring the band’s brand new single and video “Lips Like Venom” on their highly trafficked platform. For a DIY band running on pure grit, this kind of spotlight hits like a shot of rocket fuel.

“Lips Like Venom” delivers a tight blast of melodic brutality with gothic atmosphere, precision riffing and breakdowns built to fold a pit in half. Formed in 2007, Night Of The Snake stand firmly rooted in the spirit of the mid 2000s metalcore boom while pushing their sound into a sharper and more modern strike.

Frontmen Remi and Alex drive the song with a dual vocal attack that swings from emotional lift to full throat savagery. Their writing digs into the human condition, the natural world and the darker corners of life. Bassist Dani Blood brings the low end power that keeps the whole track chest rattling, while drummer Kyle Craib fires off tight, high energy percussion that turns the song into a straight up weapon.

The single was produced, mixed and mastered by vocalist Remi Monroe , capturing the band’s vision without outside hands. The band sums up the tone with one chilling line. “From beneath my breath, dragged in her horror.”
