FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Wait Is Over: W’t’M Brings Modern Metal Fire on April 10th
Italian-Danish modern metal project W’t’M returns with their newest single, a potent blend of melodic intensity, hard-hitting riffs, and soaring vocals that fans of Halestorm, Within Temptation, Pretty Maids, and Deep Purple will immediately connect with.
Formed in 2022 as a remote collaboration between Italian singer Marica Moire and Danish musicians led by bassist Ole Quist, W’t’M has quickly evolved from an online experiment into a fully realized modern metal force. The addition of Michael Bastholm Dahl (ex-Artillery) in 2023 brought dynamic vocal duets and a commanding stage presence, defining the band’s signature sound: a seamless fusion of atmospheric melodies and explosive rock energy.
Following their 2025 debut album Witness the Madness and a series of high-profile European festival appearances—including Nordic Noise Festival, Copenhell Pre-Event, and Death Island Festival—W’t’M has continued to grow their international presence with live performances across Poland. The band’s relentless dedication to melodic intensity and high-energy performance culminates in this new single, produced at Hop House Studio by Andreas Linnemann and released via Popshit Records.
Ole Quist , the band’s bassist and primary creative force, shares:
"This single captures everything W’t’M is about—powerful melodies, emotional depth, and pure metal energy. We can’t wait for fans old and new to hear it."

VAJRA WALKED THROUGH THE RUINS OF POMPEII. WHAT THEY BROUGHT BACK WILL STOP YOU COLD. - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VAJRA WALKED THROUGH THE RUINS OF POMPEII. WHAT THEY BROUGHT BACK WILL STOP YOU COLD.
“SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN (POMPEII REIMAGINING)” — OUT NOW
New York, NY — Progressive metal/art rock band Vajra has released their haunting reinterpretation of Pink Floyd’s “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun,” available now on all major platforms. Arriving as a Pompeii Reimagining , the track stands as something rare: a piece of music that earns the weight it carries.
This is not a cover. It’s a continuation.
Originally sparked by the practical need to extend a live set, the song evolved into something far more immersive. Inspired by the stark, elemental atmosphere of Live at Pompeii , Vajra spent years living inside the composition before recording it. Replicating it would have been easy. That was never the goal.
“The song feels alive… like a portal. It asked something of us. We realized that to carry it forward, we had to enter its heat.”
Pilgrimage
Vocalist Annamaria Pinna and guitarist Dave Sussman traveled to Pompeii and Herculaneum, walking the same streets, standing in the amphitheater where the original performance was filmed. They studied Pliny the Younger’s firsthand account alongside archaeological and volcanological records of the eruption’s final hours.
“My family is from that region. Maybe they were there, or knew of it when it happened. I don’t know. But I feel that story in my cells. If we were going to reinterpret this song, we had to honor the people of Pompeii as fully and honestly as we could.”
The Music Video
The accompanying video was written, shot, edited, and produced entirely by Pinna and Sussman. Blending original footage captured in Pompeii and Herculaneum with AI-assisted visuals, it reconstructs the city’s final 24 hours through a first-person lens. What begins as an ordinary day quickly turns catastrophic.
It doesn’t just tell the story. It puts you inside it.
Echoes Through Time
More than five decades after its creation, the original composition still resonates. Vajra expands its architecture into something heavier, slower, and more cinematic. Pinna’s ethereal vocals drift through the mix like smoke through stone, while the hypnotic pulse remains intact.
The ritual is still there. The tension builds differently. The silence at the end lingers longer.
“We feel that the song is sacred, and it is still echoing. So are the images. There’s something unfinished in it. Something still moving.”
Why This Song. Why Now.
Pompeii didn’t fade away. It vanished in less than a day. An ordinary morning turned into total destruction with no warning.
That idea doesn’t feel distant anymore.
“There are forces that can reroute our lives overnight. What feels stable can shift instantly. Our time here is brief. That awareness changes everything, including how you create.”
Released on the Spring Equinox, a moment of balance between darkness and light, this reimagining stands as both remembrance and a wake-up call.
The song is out now. The video is out now.
Listen. Watch. Then sit with it.

GODLESS Unleash “Architect of Torment” – New Single Marks 10 Years of Relentless Death Metal - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GODLESS Unleash “Architect of Torment” – New Single Marks 10 Years of Relentless Death Metal
Indian extreme metal powerhouse GODLESS are set to release their blistering new single, Architect of Torment , on May 1, 2026 . Celebrating a decade of uncompromising death metal, the band follows a trajectory that has taken them from India’s underground to international stages, including Wacken Open Air , Obscene Extreme Festival , and SWR Barroselas Metalfest .
Formed in 2015, GODLESS have built a reputation on thrash-infused, aggressive death metal that refuses to compromise. From their debut EP Centuries of Decadence (2016) to their acclaimed full-length States of Chaos (2021), the Hyderabad quartet have consistently pushed boundaries, earning attention from Rolling Stone India , Metal Injection , and Invisible Oranges , while topping Bandcamp’s global thrash and death metal charts.
Architect of Torment sees GODLESS expanding their sound while retaining their signature intensity. “The track balances crushing riffs, tight grooves, and guttural vocals with a more melancholic and atmospheric dimension,” says the band. “Moving between relentless heaviness and eerie restraint, it explores institutionalized dehumanization, following a man trapped in a system where he becomes both victim and architect of the suffering around him.”
The single was produced by GODLESS and mixed & mastered at Rorysound Studio in Sweden by Lawrence Mackrory , delivering a sonic experience that blends aggression with immersive depth.
Fans of early-Decapitated, Morbid Angel, and Misery Index will find Architect of Torment a powerful statement of GODLESS’ evolving sound—a perfect introduction for new listeners and a testament to their decade-long reign over India’s extreme metal scene.
The single drops May 1, 2026 , ahead of an India tour and a massive 30-city European headline run, including the legendary Obscene Extreme Festival .

Nocturnal Ceremony Unleashes “Seasons of Hate” Official Video, Cementing Their Return to Extreme Metal Dominance - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nocturnal Ceremony Unleashes “Seasons of Hate” Official Video, Cementing Their Return to Extreme Metal Dominance
Independent modern death metal titans Nocturnal Ceremony continue their triumphant resurgence with the release of the official video for “ Seasons of Hate ,” a standout track from their debut album Obsidian (March 4, 2026). Following glowing international reviews from publications like Heavy Metal Philosophy and Deadly Storm Zine , the new visual accompaniment further showcases the band’s mastery of haunting atmosphere, crushing riffs, and blackened death metal intensity.
The “Seasons of Hate” video plunges viewers into a ritualistic, shadow-drenched world where ancient passions collide with modern brutality. True to the album’s tone, the visuals mirror the music’s eerie depth—fog-laden landscapes, spectral imagery, and visceral intensity combine to create an immersive experience that pulls fans deep into Nocturnal Ceremony’s dark universe.
Deadly Storm Zine previously described Obsidian as “strange, captivating, and magical,” likening the album to wandering through fog-covered cemeteries at dawn while ghosts drift between gravestones. Tracks like “Seasons of Hate” exemplify that hypnotic, blackened energy, balancing raw aggression with atmosphere and emotional weight.
Highlights from “Seasons of Hate” and Obsidian include:
A dense, crushing sound that commands attention while evoking haunting imagery
Dark, imaginative songwriting that bridges ancient mysticism and contemporary extreme metal
Hypnotic blackened death metal energy that lingers long after the final note
Originally formed in the early 1990s, Nocturnal Ceremony vanished before fully realizing their potential. Now, more than three decades later, the band delivers a debut album that proves some darkness only grows stronger with time.
Produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by Thomas Madsen, Obsidian captures the band’s raw ferocity and cathartic depth, delivering an unrelenting sonic journey through shadow, memory, and emotion.
Nocturnal Ceremony says of the album:
"Sharing our music is a way of alleviation, up to the point of being cathartic. It is a way to express emotions that simply don't have any words, or a name. Releasing these songs is an act of letting go of some demons. It is about accepting what life now is and who you have become, to perhaps ultimately find some small measure of peace. Maybe by listening, you can too. We are Nocturnal Ceremony – welcome to our darkness."
Fans of Igorrr , Behemoth , and Bloodbath will find plenty to sink their teeth into as “Seasons of Hate” and the rest of Obsidian continue spreading throughout the underground metal scene.

Fueled by dark themes and a fearless approach to songwriting, The Greatest Villain The World Has Ever Seen dives deep into concepts of power, corruption, inner conflict, and the blurred lines that define villainy in today’s world. It’s a record that doesn’t pull punches, blending classic hard rock grit with modern production and layered storytelling.
“This album marks an exciting time in Worldwide Panic history,” says vocalist and bassist Lane Steele. “This is a very eclectic, meaningful record. Filled with related themes and undeniable hooks, this record takes the band to new heights.”
With the backing of a respected platform like BraveWords and a release that hits as hard as this one does, Worldwide Panic are kicking the door wide open and daring anyone to step in their path.

NO GUEST. NO FILTER. JUST PURE SONIC DAMAGE. - @thebeast
NO GUEST. NO FILTER. JUST PURE SONIC DAMAGE.
Sometimes you don’t need interviews. You don’t need small talk. You don’t need anything polished or pretty.
Sometimes you just need riffs. Volume. And a full-on sonic beating.
That’s exactly what went down on this latest episode of Metal Devastation Radio.
After getting knocked flat on my ass all week by the lovely little plague known as the rhinovirus, I wasn’t about to line up a guest and risk crashing mid-show. So instead of canceling or dialing it back, I did what any sane metalhead would do, cranked it up and let the music do the talking.
No guest. No filter. Just straight-up heavy metal chaos.
This episode kicks off with the rising underground crushers who tore it up in the Battle of the Bands, bands that are hungry, dangerous, and ready to rip their way out of the scene. From there, it spirals into a relentless mix of legends, underground filth, and brand new tracks that hit like a brick to the teeth.
You’ve got icons like Ozzy Osbourne and Darkthrone holding down the old guard, while bands like Jungle Rot and Six Feet Under keep things nasty and grounded in pure death metal tradition.
Then there’s the new blood and underground war machine bringing the heat with zero compromise. No trends. No gimmicks. Just riffs, aggression, and attitude the way it’s supposed to be.
If you’ve been feeling burned out on overproduced, overhyped nonsense, this episode is your reset button.

Jungle Rot Unleashes 12th Album, “Cruel Face Of War,” Drops First Single & Video, Hits Europe This Summer - @thebeast
Kenosha, Wisconsin’s old-school death metal stalwarts Jungle Rot are back to remind the world why they’ve been a cornerstone of the underground scene for over three decades. The band will release their 12th full-length album, Cruel Face Of War , on May 15th via Unique Leader Records, and fans can get a first taste with the lead single and video, “Apocalyptic Dawn,” streaming now
https://orcd.co/CRUELFACEOFWAR. Artwork for the album comes courtesy of Gyula Havancsak.
Frontman Dave Matrise reflects on the milestone: “Let's start off by saying what an amazing accomplishment it is to hit 12 releases in my career. Never would I think I'd still be doing this 30+ years later. I guess be careful what you wish for. I'm very grateful to all of our fans that have supported us for so many years and for never giving up on us. 'Cruel Face Of War' will not disappoint. It's full of crushing grooves and violent hooks that will surely break anyone's neck.”
The album, produced once again by Chris Djuricic at Bell City Sound Company and mixed/mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio, continues Jungle Rot’s signature blend of old-school death metal, thrash, crossover, and punk-infused grooves. Track highlights include the title track, “Suffer in Silence,” “Blade of Betrayal,” and a special collaboration on “Horrors Vile” featuring David Ingram of Benediction.
Jungle Rot’s style has never been about maximum gore or flashy technicality—it’s about efficiency, infectious grooves, and songs that hit hard and stick in your head. With Cruel Face Of War , they continue this tradition, crafting a punishing, relentless album that old-school death metal fans will devour.
To celebrate the album, Jungle Rot will hit Europe this summer for their “Back to the Old School Tour,” sharing the stage with KHNVM and Rats of Gomorrah while playing festivals and clubs across the continent.

BURNT WITCH RACKS UP CREDIBILITY WITH WEEDIAN FEATURE AND MATT PIKE PRAISE - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BURNT WITCH RACKS UP CREDIBILITY WITH WEEDIAN FEATURE AND MATT PIKE PRAISE
West Tennessee – West Tennessee doom and sludge four-piece Burnt Witch continue to cement their place in the underground heavy scene. Their EP Dopelich , released independently on February 13, 2026, was recently featured in Weedian ’s Best Releases of February , earning recognition for its dense riffs, hypnotic grooves, and swamp-soaked Southern atmosphere.
Building on this momentum, the band has released a rig rundown video showcasing lead guitarist Matt Page’s setup, giving fans an in-depth look at the gear behind their massive tone. The video has since caught the attention of Matt Pike (of Sleep / High on Fire ), who praised the breakdown—a major nod of approval from one of modern doom and sludge’s foremost guitar titans.
The rig features several standout pedals from Does It Doom , including the devastatingly heavy Baghdad, giving Dopelich its thick, cavernous tone that fans of Electric Wizard , Crowbar , and Eyehategod crave.
“Burnt Witch are not here to be clean. They are here to be crushing,” said Zach Moonshine , Metal Devastation Radio.

VAULDERIE’s Sanguinoctum Scores 8/10 in Bringer of Death Zine: “A Killer Blend of Black and Thrash Metal” - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VAULDERIE’s Sanguinoctum Scores 8/10 in Bringer of Death Zine : “A Killer Blend of Black and Thrash Metal”
VAULDERIE is turning heads and racking up acclaim for their 2025 album Sanguinoctum . The underground black-thrash force has just been featured in Bringer of Death Zine , earning a solid 8/10 and praise for delivering a perfect mix of dark, aggressive, and ritualistic metal.
The review highlights VAULDERIE’s mastery of atmosphere, riffing, and vocals:
“VAULDERIE are a very great sounding mixture of black and thrash metal… Horror movie style keyboards kick things off, giving way to thrash riffs, blast beats, and high-pitched black metal screams. There’s a perfect mix of slow, mid-paced, and fast sections, with solos, leads, and even death metal growls adding depth. The production is professional, and the lyrics cover Occultism, Vampirism, and Ritualistic themes… Recommended tracks include ‘Calling The Blood,’ ‘Flight Of The Gargoyles,’ ‘From The Crypt,’ and ‘Among The Aeries.’ 8 out of 10.”
Already celebrated for its raw energy and uncompromising underground edge, Sanguinoctum proves VAULDERIE isn’t just another black-thrash act—they’re a full-on force in the extreme metal scene.
For fans of dark, high-octane black and thrash metal, this review is confirmation: VAULDERIE delivers exactly what the underground craves.

MONTREAL, April 1, 2026 – Following the explosive debut single Iron Sky , cinematic symphonic dark metal project False Messiah returns with “Rise of the Seven,” the second single from their highly anticipated album Seven , set for release June 19 via Semetery Records.
Iron Sky introduced fans to a dystopian world dominated by surveillance, automation, and algorithmic authority—a place where humanity faces a stark choice: submission or conscious resistance. With Rise of the Seven , False Messiah turns the narrative toward action. From the ruins of collapsing institutions emerges a new force: the “Seven,” survivors who rise when systems fail and power becomes faceless and abstract.
Inspired by post-apocalyptic fiction, modern insurgency narratives, and real-world decentralized resistance movements, “Rise of the Seven” explores a world where hope no longer comes from governments or structures, but from those willing to stand, organize, and act. It is a declaration of defiance: humanity must become its own shield against extinction.
Musically, the track expands False Messiah’s cinematic universe. Monumental orchestral arrangements collide with aggressive modern guitars, dark electronic textures, and ritualistic atmospheres. The result is an immersive soundscape evoking underground movements, last stands, and cities collapsing under technological dominance. Symphonic grandeur meets extreme metal intensity, reinforcing themes of urgency, rebellion, and awakening.
Together, Iron Sky and Rise of the Seven form the opening fractures of Seven , a conceptually driven album that constructs a dark mythological universe where technological faith replaces traditional belief systems, and survival depends on lucidity rather than obedience.
Fans of Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Amaranthe, Lord of the Lost, and In This Moment will find themselves drawn into this expansive, cinematic, and atmospheric metal journey.

LLOTH UNLEASH NEW RITUALISTIC VIDEO “ACHERODAS” FROM ARCHEES LEGEONES (ANCIENT LEGIONS) - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LLOTH UNLEASH NEW RITUALISTIC VIDEO “ACHERODAS” FROM ARCHEES LEGEONES (ANCIENT LEGIONS)
From the shadowed depths of the Hellenic underground, Greek black metal veterans LLOTH return with a chilling new visual offering for their track “Acherodas,” taken from their latest album Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions) , out now via Theogonia Records.
Watch the official video here:
Drenched in a cinematic and obscure atmosphere, “Acherodas” is more than just a music video, it is a full descent into myth, ritual, and darkness. Built on haunting imagery and layered symbolism, the video channels the ancient spiritual undercurrents that define LLOTH’s sound. The result hits like a late-night horror flick meets old-world mythology, pulling you straight into the abyss and not letting go.
The release builds on strong momentum for the band, following the success of their previous video “Black Throne,” which received high praise and was featured by BraveWords, further cementing LLOTH’s powerful return to the global metal spotlight.
The video was brought to life by Bob Katsionis and Alex Haritakis, whose vision transforms the track into a hypnotic visual ritual. Performances from Nina Kefallogiani and PNOE, alongside Kostas Petratos, add a theatrical, almost ceremonial weight to the experience. With costumes crafted by Natali Christaki and a concept developed by PNOE and Nicolas Maiis (Melanomorfos), every detail feeds into the larger mythos surrounding Archees Legeones .
Adding another layer of depth, the track features haunting female vocals from Androniki Skoula, whose ethereal presence elevates the song’s emotional pull and reinforces its connection to themes of death, rebirth, and ancient power.
“Acherodas” continues LLOTH’s relentless march through epic Hellenic black and death metal, where crushing riffs, dark melodies, and mythological storytelling collide. It’s raw, it’s atmospheric, and it stays true to the roots while still pushing forward, exactly how it ought to be done.
Following their triumphant return and the legacy forged in honor of founder Tristessa, LLOTH prove once again they are not here to revisit the past, they are here to expand it and drag it into darker territory.
Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions) is out now worldwide.
Enter the darkness. Cross the river. Descend into “Acherodas.”

Eternal Dialtone Unleash Hypnotic Self-Titled Debut – A Cosmic Psych Stoner Rock Journey - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Eternal Dialtone Unleash Hypnotic Self-Titled Debut – A Cosmic Psych Stoner Rock Journey
Release Date: March 27, 2026
The underground just got a little louder. Psych stoner rock trio Eternal Dialtone have officially dropped their self-titled debut, a mind-bending three-track release that stretches heavy rock into cosmic territory while keeping one boot firmly planted in gritty, blues-soaked doom.
Formed in 2024 by current and former members of Dust Moth, Giza, X Suns, Witchrat, The Bering Sea, and Maxx Shredroom, Eternal Dialtone marks a bold sonic shift from the musicians’ previous projects. The band leans into hypnotic repetition, free-flowing improvisation, and amplifier worship, crafting a sound that nods to the spirit of underground legends while carving out its own strange orbit.
Fans of heavy psychedelic explorers like Earthless , the genre-bending experimentation of King Gizzard , the desert groove of Fu Manchu , and the raw edge of Fugazi will find plenty to sink their teeth into here.
The self-titled release was tracked in a former Catholic church built in the early 1900s, a setting that lends an eerie sense of space and atmosphere to the recordings. The band’s first offering is anchored by a sprawling 13-minute journey driven by swirling riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and evolving sonic landscapes that feel as much like a ritual as a rock song.
Production on the record pulls together some serious Pacific Northwest studio pedigree. The album was engineered by Nicholas Wilbur at The Unknown in Anacortes, mixed by Matt Bayles at The Red Room in Seattle, and mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Mastering. The striking cover artwork was created by Steven Yoyada.
Early reactions have already praised the band’s unique approach to heavy music. As Outlaw of the Sun put it, “Eternal Dialtone demonstrates a great style of blues-based cosmic doom into their music.”
With their debut now unleashed into the world, the band has a simple message for promoters and fans alike.
“Book us!” says the band.
Eternal Dialtone is:
Rich – Guitar
Steve – Bass
Burke – Drums
The self-titled record is now available on Bandcamp and YouTube.

Korrosive Land Major Video Premiere for “Khaos Unbound” at Decibel Magazine - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Korrosive Land Major Video Premiere for “Khaos Unbound” at Decibel Magazine
Toronto, Canada – Canadian extreme thrash metal force Korrosive continue the rampage surrounding their latest album Katastrophic Creation with a major new milestone. The band has officially landed an exclusive video premiere for their track “Khaos Unbound” at the legendary metal publication Decibel Magazine , putting the spotlight squarely on one of the album’s most relentless tracks.
Known for championing the heaviest and most uncompromising acts in metal, Decibel Magazine describes “Khaos Unbound” as a full-speed thrash assault packed with blistering riffs, pummeling drums, and venom-spitting vocals rooted in the most chaotic corners of thrash metal’s lineage. The track appears on Korrosive’s latest album Katastrophic Creation , released through CDN Records and available now on CD, vinyl, and all major streaming platforms.
The new video was directed and edited by guitarist Jack Neila , with cinematography by Michael Jari Davidson , whose résumé includes work with Alice in Chains . The performance-driven clip captures Korrosive locked into the same furious intensity that fuels the track itself, delivering a stark and aggressive visual experience that perfectly mirrors the band’s no-compromise approach to modern thrash.
Lyrically, “Khaos Unbound” takes aim at the machinery of war and the expendable role forced upon those sent to fight it. Vocalist Rad Zarei explains that the song explores the moment when those used as pawns in conflict begin to realize the truth behind the systems controlling them.
“The idea behind the song is about war and society,” says Zarei. “It’s written from the perspective of someone realizing they’re just cannon fodder. Those in command never face consequences, but when the pawns push back, chaos is unbound.”
Taken from Katastrophic Creation , the track stands as a prime example of the album’s relentless approach. Produced by Ben Erikson , the record pushes Korrosive’s sound further into extreme territory while staying rooted in the speed, aggression, and razor-sharp riffing that define classic thrash.
With this latest premiere at Decibel Magazine , Korrosive continues to prove that their mission is simple: maximum velocity, zero compromise.

Red Vinter Complete Recording of Crushing New Album Ghost In The Fog and Prepare to Level Sinkfest II - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Red Vinter Complete Recording of Crushing New Album Ghost In The Fog and Prepare to Level Sinkfest II
St. Paul, MN – Doom and death metal force Red Vinter have officially wrapped recording sessions for their second full length album, Ghost In The Fog , at the legendary 14: 59 Studios in Minneapolis, MN. Known for hosting punishing sessions from underground standouts such as Impaler, Thor, Plague of Stars, and Glutton for Punishment, the studio once again served as the perfect sonic war room for the band’s next chapter.
The album was co- produced by Red Vinter vocalist and bassist Mike Bullock alongside Will Maravelas , the engineer behind the band’s acclaimed debut Lumbering Menace . The new record features eight pulverizing tracks that push the band’s already massive doom and death sound into darker and heavier territory.
Among the most anticipated tracks are “ Cryptic Site” and “ The Cell Inside,” with “ Cryptic Site” slated to emerge as the first single from Ghost In The Fog . The upcoming record continues Red Vinter’s signature blend of crushing riffs, slow burning atmosphere, and emotionally charged songwriting that has been steadily gaining attention across the underground metal scene.
Momentum for the band has been building as tracks from Lumbering Menace continue to reach new audiences. Fan favorites “ Ashes” and “ Insurgent” have recently been featured on the Screamin’ Eman Underground Metal show on the legendary WXAX and have received additional airplay on KFAI, KMSU, and a growing number of online metal radio programs and podcasts.
“ With everything going on in Minneapolis lately, ‘ Insurgent’ is more relevant now than ever,” says Bullock. “ Meanwhile, the message behind ‘ Ashes’— getting back on your feet no matter how hard life burns you down— is something people need to hear every day. It’s about resilience.”
Fans will soon experience the band’s crushing new material live as Red Vinter returns to the Minneapolis doom and sludge gathering SINKFEST II on March 21st . The annual low- and- slow festival brings together some of the heaviest acts in the underground, and Red Vinter is preparing to bulldoze the stage with a set that includes the live debut of “ Cryptic Site” alongside fan favorites like “ Ashes,” “ Lumbering Menace,” “ K. I. A.,” and more.
Early reactions to Red Vinter’s sound continue to highlight the band’s unique approach to heavy music.
“ Red Vinter's music is a brutal, melodic landscape that moves from small and delicate to massive and crushing in a heartbeat.” – Interview With A Nobody
“ Red Vinter's sound is tight, confident, and far more gripping than most first releases.” – Metal Digest
“ Red Vinter's Lumbering Menace is an excellently crafted doomy and heavy album.” – Teeth of the Divine
With Ghost In The Fog now completed and live performances on the horizon, Red Vinter are gearing up to push their brand of doom laden devastation even further into the underground metal world.

Wayne Static Vocal Feature Approved For Unauthorized Documentary - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wayne Static Vocal Feature Approved For Unauthorized Documentary
The unauthorized documentary by filmmaker Matt Zane about late Wayne Static and his wife Tera Wray Static has faced significant resistance since its initial announcement.
Both families have previously voiced strong objections to the project and reportedly served Zane with a cease-and-desist notice in an effort to halt production.
In addition, Wayne’s former bandmates in Static-X and the family have refused permission for the use of unreleased music recordings that Zane claims to have access to for the film.
However, the project has now received approval to include a song featuring Wayne’s vocals by former members of 9ELECTIC, Micah Electric and Mikey Lopez. They have granted Zane permission to feature the track “Destroy As You Go,” originally recorded with Wayne in 2011.
The song features Wayne Static on vocals and is accompanied by a music video showing Micah, his bandmates, Wayne and Tera working together in the studio.
Micah said in a statement:
“I was friends with Wayne and Tera for many years and spent quite a bit of time with them in the Joshua Tree area. Wayne was always a very supportive friend and showed it by singing on two songs for two different bands I was in. He had both of my bands out on tour with Static-X as well. I’m honored to have the song ‘DESTROY AS YOU GO’ featured in Matt’s movie and look forward to seeing the completed film soon!”
Zane’s documentary aims to tell the story of Wayne and Tera’s relationship and lives within the rock and adult entertainment worlds. Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding the project, Zane has continued production and has been sharing updates with fans.
Check out the song and video for “Destroy As You Go” below.
For further updates on the documentary, follow Matt Zane on Instagram at @LordZane .

Engorgement Unleash Brutal New Album They Rot Beneath Our Floor – Out March 20 via Comatose Music - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Engorgement Unleash Brutal New Album They Rot Beneath Our Floor – Out March 20 via Comatose Music
UK slam/ brutal death metal outfit Engorgement are set to unleash their long awaited second full length album, They Rot Beneath Our Floor , on March 20, 2026. Packed with crushing riffs, guttural vocals, and merciless percussion, the record marks the band’s triumphant return more than a decade after their debut full length, the pulverizing Excruciating Intestinal Lacerations .
Formed in 2009 in Andover, England, Engorgement began when longtime friends Rich and Stu started writing the heaviest music they could imagine in their bedrooms. Raised in the chaos of the early 2000s skate and gig culture, their mission was simple: create the most brutally unforgiving sound possible. After earlier projects like Gore Sanctum and Disgorged Prolapse, the duo reset and forged Engorgement as their ultimate sonic weapon.
Taking inspiration from legends like Devourment , Dying Fetus , and Suffocation , the band crafted a sound built on crushing groove driven riffs, cavernous gutturals, relentless drumming, and an unapologetically savage atmosphere. Over the years, while members have shifted, founding forces Rich and Stu have remained the driving core. Stu now commands vocals after originally playing guitar on the band’s first release, while Rich continues to anchor the low end with bass and backing vocals.
Drummer Mitch Rider joined the band for the recording of their debut album in 2012 before later spending time performing with Kraanium . Returning to Engorgement in 2024, Rider helped drive the creation of the band’s devastating new record. In 2025 guitarist Rick Hill completed the lineup, bringing an aggressive style that perfectly complements Engorgement’s signature brutality.
The result is They Rot Beneath Our Floor , a grotesque and punishing descent into sonic carnage.
The album opens with the eerie atmosphere of “ Prelude To Your Dismemberment” and closes with the ominous “ Outro,” framing a barrage of crushing brutality in between. Tracks like “ Sanctum Of Gore” deliver titanic waves of filth paired with flesh shredding bursts of speed, while “ Complete Bowel Extraction” plunges listeners into a suffocating storm of grotesque imagery and savage instrumentation. Meanwhile “ Unmerciful Redemption” tests endurance with its relentless assault of bone shattering riffs and punishing tempo shifts.
Mixed and mastered by Floor Van Kuijk of Korpse at GLDCHN Studios, the album boasts a raw, festering power that perfectly captures Engorgement’s unhinged intensity.
Known for their relentless live performances, Engorgement have carved a reputation across Europe with appearances at festivals including Deathfeast, Nice To Eat You, Slamming Brutality, Incineration Fest, Eradication Fest, and UK Slam Fest. With a packed 2026 show schedule ahead and the release of They Rot Beneath Our Floor , the band is poised to unleash utter carnage upon the global slam scene.
When They Rot Beneath Our Floor erupts on March 20 through Comatose Music , fans of extreme brutality should prepare themselves. Engorgement are coming… and there’s always room beneath their floorboards.

Nocturnal Ceremony’s “Obsidian” Continues Its Ascent With Another Haunting International Review - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nocturnal Ceremony’s “ Obsidian” Continues Its Ascent With Another Haunting International Review
Independent modern death metal force Nocturnal Ceremony continues to gain momentum with their debut album Obsidian , released March 4, 2026. Following a glowing write- up from Heavy Metal Philosophy , the album has now received another powerful endorsement from underground metal publication Deadly Storm Zine , further cementing its growing reputation in the extreme metal scene.
The new review dives deep into the album’s eerie atmosphere and emotional weight, describing the record as something far more than just another metal release. The writer portrays Obsidian as a ritualistic experience, praising its ability to pull listeners into a shadowy world of haunting imagery, ancient passion, and crushing sound.
Deadly Storm Zine writes that the album’s atmosphere is “ strange, captivating, and magical,” with compositions that feel “ sharp, wild, and mysterious.” The reviewer compares the listening experience to wandering through fog- covered cemeteries at dawn while ghosts drift between gravestones, calling the record a powerful ceremony rather than simply music.
The review also highlights:
A dense, crushing sound that balances heaviness with atmosphere
Dark, imaginative songwriting that feels both ancient and fresh
Hypnotic blackened death metal energy that lingers long after the final track
A record described as “ an excellent offering for all the damned”
For the reviewer, Obsidian became deeply personal, describing the album as something that “ crawled like a coil of poisonous snakes” before spreading through the mind and bloodstream like venom. The piece concludes by praising the album as a work that taps directly into the primal spirit of extreme metal.
This latest praise follows the earlier Heavy Metal Philosophy review, which called Obsidian “ a dark horse for your AOTY list,” highlighting its massive guitar tones, crushing grooves, and dynamic songwriting.
Originally formed in the early 1990s, Nocturnal Ceremony vanished before fully realizing their potential. Now, more than three decades later, the band returns with a debut album that proves some darkness only grows stronger with time.
Produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by Thomas Madsen , Obsidian captures the band’s raw ferocity and haunting atmosphere, delivering a relentless sonic journey through shadows, memory, and catharsis.
The band describes the album as deeply personal:
“ Nocturnal Ceremony says of the album:
Sharing our music is a way of alleviation, up to the point of being cathartic. It is a way to express emotions that simply don't have any words, or a name. Releasing these songs is an act of letting go of some demons. It is about accepting what life now is and who you have become, to perhaps ultimately find some small measure of peace. Maybe by listening, you can too. We are Nocturnal Ceremony – welcome to our darkness. ”
Fans of Igorrr , Behemoth , and Bloodbath will find plenty to sink their teeth into as Obsidian continues spreading through the underground metal world.
Stream the album and add to your playlists:
https://hypeddit.com/nocturnalceremony/obsidian
Independent, relentless, and unapologetically heavy, Nocturnal Ceremony proves that true darkness never dies, and Obsidian is quickly becoming one of the underground’s most talked- about releases of 2026.

Independent, relentless, and unapologetically heavy, Nocturnal Ceremony proves that true darkness never dies, and Obsidian is quickly becoming one of the underground’s most talked- about releases of 2026.

Sardonic Witchery’s King Demogorgon Talks Under The Sign Of The Trident, Maryland Deathfest, and the Relentless Underground Spirit - @thebeast
Sardonic Witchery’s King Demogorgon Talks Under The Sign Of The Trident , Maryland Deathfest, and the Relentless Underground Spirit
The underground metal scene thrives on passion, independence, and a refusal to compromise. Few artists embody that spirit more than Ricardo “ KD” Mota , better known to extreme metal fans as King Demogorgon of Sardonic Witchery .
During a recent appearance on The Zach Moonshine Show on Metal Devastation Radio , the Texas- based black thrash mastermind sat down for an in- depth interview discussing the band’s savage compilation Under The Sign Of The Trident , their upcoming album, international tour plans, and the personal journey that brought Sardonic Witchery into existence.
The conversation covered everything from underground metal philosophy to occult inspiration and the reality of building a band across continents.
And one thing became clear quickly. Sardonic Witchery plays by its own rules.
“ We do exactly what I wanna do and we don’t have compromises with nobody.”
The Purpose Behind Under The Sign Of The Trident
While Sardonic Witchery fans are eagerly waiting for the band’s next full- length album, Demogorgon revealed that the record is already finished .
However, instead of rushing it out, the band made a strategic move by releasing the compilation Under The Sign Of The Trident , featuring powerful re- recordings of earlier material.
The goal was simple. Keep the ritual alive while preparing the next era of the band.
“ We did this compilation because we cannot release the new album yet. We want to find a really good label for it.”
The compilation acts as both a tribute to Sardonic Witchery’s past and a brutal preview of the band’s evolving sound.
Fans of black metal, thrash metal, and underground extreme metal will recognize the raw aggression and stripped- down intensity that has defined the project since its early demos.
A New Sardonic Witchery Album Is Coming
One of the biggest reveals during the interview was confirmation that Sardonic Witchery has completed its fifth full- length album , which promises to push the band into new sonic territory.
According to Demogorgon, the upcoming record will surprise some listeners.
“ That will be a very different album. Some people will say, ‘ What the hell is happening here?’”
While the band’s black metal roots remain intact, the new material leans more heavily into black thrash influences , delivering faster riffs, tighter songwriting, and stronger production.
A key contributor to this evolution is guitarist and producer Lubys Rina , who recently became an official member of the band.
Demogorgon praised his impact on the new material.
“ He gave a lot of power to the new riffs. He’s an excellent guitarist and producer.”
The album is currently being submitted to labels, with hopes of a 2027 release .
From Portugal to Texas: The Origins of Sardonic Witchery
The story behind Sardonic Witchery is deeply personal.
Born in Portugal and raised partly in Switzerland, Mota grew up immersed in heavy music before forming his first bands in the early 1990s.
After years performing in Europe, life took a dramatic turn that eventually led him to Texas.
“ I came to Texas to clean my mind… it was supposed to be three months. I’ve been here fifteen years.”
During that time, Sardonic Witchery emerged as a one- man extreme metal project , allowing Demogorgon complete creative freedom.
“ When you do music by yourself, you can do whatever you want when you feel it.”
That independence has resulted in an enormous catalog of demos, splits, and underground releases dating back to 2012.
The Meaning Behind the Name Sardonic Witchery
The band’s name itself comes from a combination of personal experience and symbolism.
Demogorgon explained that the word “ sardonic” reflects the idea of a sarcastic or bitter smile , something that resonated deeply during one of the darkest periods of his life.
“ When you are pissed off but you give a smile to people… that is sardonic.”
Combined with the mystical imagery of witchcraft, the name perfectly captures the band’s identity.
Dark. Defiant. Uncompromising.
Touring Plans and Maryland Deathfest
Sardonic Witchery has a busy year ahead on the live front.
The band will perform several major appearances including a highly anticipated slot at Maryland Deathfest , one of the world’s most respected extreme metal festivals.
“ Maryland Deathfest is something I wanted to do for a long time.”
The band will also be heading overseas for a performance in the UK at an underground festival called Weekend of Darkness , before returning to the United States for a tour with Polish black metal veterans Besatt .
Tour stops are expected across multiple states including:
Wisconsin
Illinois
Indiana
Louisiana
Texas
North Carolina
New York
Tennessee
Sardonic Witchery will also make their first- ever appearance in Mexico later this year.
A True Underground Metal Warrior
What makes Sardonic Witchery stand out is the relentless drive behind it.
While many bands rely heavily on industry backing, Demogorgon built this project through pure dedication.
Outside of music, he works as an electromechanic , balancing everyday life with the demands of writing, recording, and performing extreme metal.
It is a reminder that the underground metal scene still thrives on passion rather than profit.
