In Pinna's words, “Lyrically, I was thinking about the dissonance in the world, juxtaposing all of our similarities, including the common themes that run through all religions. Around that time, I was listening to an Alan Watts lecture, and he quoted a 19th-century Rabbi. His words stuck with me, and they were perfect to convey the message of the song.”

“Sub Specie Aeternitatis” also comes with a visually stunning music video, featuring a somatic improvised dance that echoes the ethereal energy of Kate Bush and the intensity of "Black Swan" . Produced, shot, edited, and performed by Pinna and guitarist Dave Sussman , the video is a testament to the duo’s creativity. “Editing dance videos is notoriously tricky. But I was determined to create a 'movement-building-to-crescendo' sequence where Annamaria's captivating somatic improvisation would be the constant and uncut focal point,” Sussman explains. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and classic ballet, the video is as much a visual journey as the track itself.

About Vajra: Vajra’s sound is a haunting blend of Eastern Indian influences with progressive rock, creating a dark and hypnotic atmosphere.
