FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INFESTATION Ignite the Scene with New Thrash Metal Blitz “Rapid Fire!” - Out Now

Schaumburg, Illinois – Thrash metal fiends INFESTATION have officially unleashed their latest sonic assault, “Rapid Fire!” , available now across all streaming platforms. Fast, fierce, and unapologetically brutal, this release proves the band is not just keeping thrash alive—they’re redefining it.

Since forming in 2021, INFESTATION has carved a name for themselves with their high-octane riffs, venomous vocals, and relentless double bass. Drawing inspiration from legends like Slayer , Destruction , and Exodus , the band delivers a sound that’s equal parts classic thrash fury and modern metal intensity.

“We laid the foundation with our first album back in 2023. Now, just over two years later, ‘Rapid Fire’ marks the next big step forward. It’s faster, heavier, and more personal than ever.”

Produced by Tom Tschernig , “Rapid Fire!” showcases INFESTATION at the peak of their craft, with every track hitting harder than the last. Released independently, the band proves that thrash metal doesn’t need a label to crush expectations—it just needs passion, precision, and volume.

Fans of aggressive, high-energy metal are in for a ride, and live shows promise even more chaos and intensity. The stage is set, the amps are cranked, and INFESTATION is ready to ignite.

Mass Punishment Reveal the Truth Behind the Noise in “Behind The Music II: Aftermath” Rockumentary - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mass Punishment Reveal the Truth Behind the Noise in “Behind The Music II: Aftermath” Rockumentary

New Jersey metal veterans Mass Punishment go deeper than riffs and rage with the release of their new documentary “Behind The Music II: Aftermath,” a raw and unapologetic look inside the studio sessions for their upcoming release, Aftermath of Thousand Years of Darkness .

This rockumentary captures the band in their natural environment. Loud, focused, tense, and completely honest. What unfolds is not just a behind-the-scenes studio film, but a glimpse into the foundation of Mass Punishment itself.

Founded in 2008 as a form of personal therapy following military service in Iraq, Mass Punishment was built as an outlet for processing trauma, truth, and survival through metal. That purpose still fuels the band today. Influenced by storytelling giants like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Death , the band approaches songwriting as narrative warfare, pulling from history, literature, and lived experience.

Filmed during intense recording sessions with producer George Pal , the documentary shows the push and pull that defines the band’s creative process. The studio is described as stressful, picky, and demanding, with the band likening their dynamic to a rubber band stretched to its limit. Arguments happen. Compromises are made. The end goal is always the same: extract the strongest possible performance.

Aftermath of Thousand Years of Darkness represents a turning point. New members. New energy. A continuation beyond their previous album Devastation , pushing Mass Punishment into a heavier, more aggressive chapter described by the band as a full-on visual and mental assault.

The film also captures the band’s philosophy toward the metal lifestyle. The stage remains the ultimate reward. The chaos of the studio pays off when the lights go down and the crowd lights up. Along the way, the band doesn’t hold back on their thoughts about the industry either, delivering blunt, often hilarious rants about bad tour pairings and tone-deaf management ideas that miss the point of what metal is supposed to be.

Despite the friction and volume, the documentary highlights the importance of a solid foundation. Producer, management, collaborators like Archangel , and a trusted label all play a role in keeping the machine moving forward.

Behind The Music II: Aftermath is honest, gritty, and loud. No glamour shots. No fake drama. Just metal, pressure, and purpose.

Watch the documentary now:

This is Mass Punishment unfiltered. If you want to understand the scars behind the sound, this is where it starts. Stay metal and keep thrashin.

Balistic Unleash Ambitious Concept Album “The Parson’s Tale” - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Balistic Unleash Ambitious Concept Album “The Parson’s Tale”
Progressive and Symphonic Metal Journey Through Sin, Virtue, and Lucifer Himself

Release Date: December 1, 2025
Genre: Progressive Metal | Symphonic Metal
For Fans Of: Ayreon, Queensrÿche, Savatage

Pennsylvania based progressive metal outfit Balistic return in full force with their long-awaited concept album “The Parson’s Tale,” a bold, theatrical metal experience that dives headfirst into the seven deadly sins and their corresponding virtues, all hosted by the ultimate master of ceremonies, Lucifer.

“It’s a little complicated…” says bassist and primary songwriter Dave Fox . That understatement barely scratches the surface.

Originally formed in 1992, Balistic reunited in 2018 after years of dormancy. What started as casual conversations during long drives to rehearsals quickly evolved into a four-year creative odyssey. The result is an operatic, genre-bending album that blends traditional heavy metal and prog with funk, hip hop flourishes, piano passages, jazzy chord structures, and fearless tempo changes.

“The Parson’s Tale” is a full-scale rock opera. Each song represents a sin paired with its opposing virtue, delivered through vivid characters and cinematic storytelling. Lyrics were written first, then shaped musically, giving the album its theatrical edge and Broadway-meets-metal personality.

“I shouldn’t be left alone with a laptop and a pen,” Fox jokes. “I ended up writing like a stage play and letting the lyrics guide the music.”

Guitarist Brian Kneasel , who also co-produced the album, immediately grasped the scope of the concept and helped bring the ambitious vision to life. “The stories were already there. That changed everything about how we wrote and recorded,” he explains.

Vocalist Mark McNelley brings the characters to life with dynamic performances, while Angie Pepper adds critical depth with layered harmonies and character driven vocals. The album also marks the return of drummer Don Hosler , whose creative input helped shape the final sound into what he calls “a true blue collaboration.”

Musically, the album moves effortlessly from the Alice Cooper-esque madness of “My Poison” to the playful chaos of “Drowning In It,” featuring guest guitarist Matt ‘Bluesman’ Creter , and into the dramatic heft of “I Am Cain,” highlighted by a soaring solo from Eric Wirsing of Rush tribute band Solar Federation.

Recorded at EQuinox Studios in New Oxford, PA and Lemand Studios in Annville, PA, the album was mixed and mastered by Don Belch , produced by Brian Kneasel and Balistic , with liner notes and band bio by Kira L. Schlechter . The album’s striking visual identity comes courtesy of Brian Durost , who handled the logo, album art, and graphic design. The original concept was developed by Dave Fox and Mark McNelley .

Balistic are already envisioning “The Parson’s Tale” as a complete live experience, complete with visuals, narration, and theatrical elements. No shortcuts. No backing track crutches. Old-school commitment with forward-thinking ambition.

“It’s going to be a wild ride,” Hosler promises.

Balistic Lineup:

Mark McNelley – Lead and backing vocals
Angie Pepper – Lead and backing vocals
Brian Kneasel – Lead guitar, keyboards, backing vocals, lead vocals on “Drowning In It”
Dave Fox – Bass, piano, rhythm and harmony guitars, Hammond organ, lead vocals on select tracks
Don Hosler – Drums and percussion

“The Parson’s Tale” is available December 1, 2025 on all major streaming platforms.

Complicated? Sure. Worth it? Absolutely.

Into the Hollow: Jordan of Sibyl Opens Up on The Metal Queens Podcast - @thebeast

Into the Hollow: Jordan of Sibyl Opens Up on The Metal Queens Podcast

Sometimes an interview hits harder than a blast beat. That’s exactly what went down when Jordan, the fearless and brutally honest vocalist of Memphis, Tennessee progressive blackened grind trio Sibyl , joined The Metal Queens Podcast . This wasn’t just another “new band, new release” chat. This was raw nerves, real grief, and extreme metal in its purest human form.

Hosted by Steve Richards, the episode dives headfirst into the chaos and beauty behind Sibyl, a band that refuses to play it safe or clean things up for comfort. Their debut single “Just Know That I Care” , the first strike from the EP Desperations of Hollow Masses , is already making waves in the underground, and for good reason. It’s savage, emotional, and unapologetically real.

Jordan’s story is as unfiltered as her vocals. Originally classically trained, she found her way into extreme metal in the least traditional way possible, starting with joking screams at a rambunctious corgi and evolving into the goblin-gurgle vocal style that now defines Sibyl’s sound. No YouTube shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just stubborn determination, trial and error, and a whole lot of grit. Old school lessons apply here. You earn it or you don’t.

The interview digs deep into the meaning behind “Just Know That I Care,” a song written in the aftermath of losing a close friend to suicide. Jordan doesn’t romanticize the pain or soften the edges. She talks openly about anger, grief, and the long shadow that loss casts. The song isn’t about closure. It’s about honesty. That’s why it hits like a truck and why it’s never leaving the live set.

Sibyl’s sound is a relentless collision of grindcore chaos, black metal atmosphere, and eerie progressive twists , but the fusion isn’t forced. As Jordan explains, it grew naturally from the personalities involved. Drummer Jeff’s technical background and precision collide with Ace’s production instincts, while Jordan brings lyrical themes rooted in grief, observation, and lived experience. No AI shortcuts. No soulless imitation. Just real people making real noise in a scene that desperately needs it.

One of the most powerful moments in the conversation comes when Jordan talks about taking up space in black metal as a woman who doesn’t fit the genre’s outdated stereotypes. She isn’t asking for permission and she’s not here to please gatekeepers. That attitude bleeds straight into the music. Extreme metal with teeth and conviction still matters, and Sibyl is proof.

The episode also touches on Memphis’ underground scene, future touring plans, and the possibility of a full-length album on the horizon. While nothing is rushed, the intent is clear. Sibyl is just getting started, and they’re doing it their way.

This is exactly the kind of authentic, uncompromising artist we stand behind. Sibyl isn’t chasing trends. They’re carving their own lane with blood, sweat, and volume.

If you care about extreme metal that actually feels like something, do yourself a favor.
Check out “Just Know That I Care” now on Bandcamp and dig into Desperations of Hollow Masses .
Then go listen to the full episode of The Metal Queens Podcast and hear it straight from the source.

This is what heavy music is supposed to be. Loud, painful, cathartic, and alive.

BELTFED WEAPON Announce New Single “Digital Genesis” Sci-Fi Dystopia Meets Speed Thrash Death Metal - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BELTFED WEAPON Announce New Single “Digital Genesis”
Sci-Fi Dystopia Meets Speed Thrash Death Metal

Release Date: January 1, 2026
Genre: Speed Thrash / Death Metal
For Fans Of: Exodus, Judas Priest, Morbid Angel

Seattle metal institution BELTFED WEAPON kick off 2026 with fire and fury, releasing their new digital single “Digital Genesis” on January 1. This is not just a song. It is a warning shot.

“Digital Genesis” is a sci-fi dystopian concept piece exploring humanity’s rise, downfall, and eventual assimilation by an advanced hybrid force. The track dives headfirst into the addictive grip of modern technology and a twisted, almost religious ideology built around it. Think machines preaching salvation while quietly pulling the plug on free will. Heavy stuff, and BELTFED WEAPON delivers it without blinking.

Musically, the single is a crushing blend of thrash and death metal with flashes of power metal precision. Razor-sharp riffs collide with blast-driven aggression, while Kragen Lum delivers blistering, surgical guitar solos that cut straight to the bone. The rhythm section hits like a wrecking ball, with Mike LePond laying down thunderous bass lines and Bryan Newberry driving the track forward with relentless precision. Vocals come courtesy of Stu Block , whose distinctive and commanding delivery gives the story its voice and its bite.

The track was written and arranged by Frank Hetzel , with lyrics and concept penned by Stu Block . Mixing and mastering were handled by Juan Urteaga , ensuring maximum impact and clarity. Artwork comes from Iwenk Art , with a lyric video created by Andrea Giambona (Andrzej Art) to visually reinforce the song’s bleak futuristic vision.

While the BELTFED WEAPON merch store is currently offline, the band encourages fans to support the release the old-school way. Spread the word. Share the track. Tell your friends. Grassroots metal still works, and it always has.

BELTFED WEAPON Lineup
Digital Genesis, Tortured Within, Rise From Eternal Darkness

Founded in 1999 by guitarist and songwriter Frank Hetzel , BELTFED WEAPON have long been a fixture of the Seattle metal scene, known for their lethal fusion of thrash, death, and technical metal. After navigating multiple lineup changes, Hetzel steered the band forward by collaborating with some of the most respected names in heavy music.

The band’s 2015 EP Raining Plague earned strong critical praise, with Metal Gods TV rating it 8/10 for its fast-paced riffs and shredding guitars, and Ever Metal awarding it a 9/10 for its balance of aggression and melody. The release featured standout contributions from Jeff Loomis and Steve DiGiorgio , cementing BELTFED WEAPON’s reputation for elite-level musicianship.

That momentum continued with the Darkened Demise EP, which featured vocals from Steve Tucker of Morbid Angel, pushing the band further into darker and more extreme territory. In September 2024, BELTFED WEAPON returned with the single “Tortured Within” , a brutal and introspective track tackling addiction and inner conflict, again showcasing Hetzel’s uncompromising songwriting and high-caliber collaborators.

With “Digital Genesis,” BELTFED WEAPON continue their forward march. No gimmicks. No compromises. Just heavy metal done right, with brains, brawn, and a message that hits uncomfortably close to home.

Metal is alive. The machine is watching. Choose wisely.

Axe Dragger LIVE on The Zach Moonshine Show: Minnesota Pete Campbell Talks True Heavy Metal, Brotherhood, and the Return of Real Riffs - @thebeast

Axe Dragger LIVE on The Zach Moonshine Show: Minnesota Pete Campbell Talks True Heavy Metal, Brotherhood, and the Return of Real Riffs

Heavy metal doesn’t need permission, trends, or a damn algorithm. It needs riffs, conviction, and people who mean it. That message landed loud and clear when 108,646 metal maniacs from around the world tuned in live for the broadcast of The Zach Moonshine Show – Heavy Metal Reloaded , featuring Minnesota Pete Campbell , drummer of the new American heavy metal supergroup AXE DRAGGER , on Metal Devastation Radio.

This wasn’t background noise radio. This was appointment listening. A global audience showed up for real heavy metal, real conversation, and zero compromise.

Axe Dragger Was Never “Planned” and That’s Why It Works

Axe Dragger didn’t start as a label idea or a calculated supergroup. It started the old-school way. Two musicians trading riffs because they couldn’t not do it.

“The original origins of the band was me and Bob Balch,” Pete explains. “He started sending me these riffs and I was like, yeah… these are f***ing badass. Let’s do it.”

Balch, known for Fu Manchu, brought something heavier and sharper to the table, and Pete didn’t hold back.

“This motherf***er is a maestro. To me, he’s one of the most underrated guitar players in music.”

From there, the band came together organically. Fredrik Isaksson of Dark Funeral, Candlemass, and Grave joined on bass. Then came the moment nobody expected.

“Bob texted me and said, ‘Dude, I’m friends with Terry Glaze on Instagram.’ I was like, yeah okay, whatever.”

That “whatever” turned into instant electricity.

“He sent the demo back and that’s the take on the record,” Pete says. “The minute I heard him, I was like, oh my God… this is exactly what this needs.”

Terry Glaze and Capturing the Moment

Terry Glaze, original Pantera vocalist, didn’t overthink his return.

“That was it,” Pete says. “We had no choice. We had to be a band.”

There was no polishing the life out of it.

“That’s literally the demo vocal,” Pete confirms. “That’s what’s on the record.”

That honesty resonated hard with the audience, and judging by the live listener numbers, the metal world agreed.

Recorded Remotely, Sounds Like a Real Band

One of the biggest revelations of the interview came when Pete explained how the album was recorded.

“We’ve never actually played together. Ever,” he admits. “Bob would send me tracks, I’d do drums, then it’d go to Fredrik, then Terry.”

Yet the result sounds like a band that’s been locked into the same room for years.

“It sounds like a live f***ing band,” Pete says. “That’s because we’re all professionals, and it was meant to be.”

That kind of chemistry can’t be manufactured. You either have it or you don’t.

Classic Heavy Metal Values, No Apologies

Axe Dragger proudly stands on the shoulders of classic heavy metal without copying it.

“Bob’s whole thing was like, ‘I want old Priest, old Riot,’” Pete explains. “And I was like, man, nobody even talks about Riot anymore.”

This is fist-pumping metal. No irony. No filters.

“You can pump your f***ing fist to every tune on this record,” Pete says. “Studded bracelet mandatory.”

Album Art, Lyrics, and Doing It the Right Way

Pete also spoke passionately about album artwork and lyrics, two things modern music often treats as disposable.

“That’s the kind of record where, back in the day, you’d flip through the bins and go, ‘This has got some nasty s*** on it,’ and buy it just off the cover.”

Lyrics mattered too.

“I used to pull out the booklet and read the lyrics while the record played,” he says. “So we made sure that mattered on this too.”

No AI. No shortcuts. Just metal done by humans who grew up respecting the craft.

Ripple Music and a Perfect Home

The album lands on Ripple Music , a label trusted by underground heavy music fans worldwide.

“Todd at Ripple rules,” Pete says. “For him to hear this and go, ‘Yep, I want this,’ that meant a lot.”

Sometimes the right label isn’t about genre. It’s about belief.

Ozzy, Sabbath, Kiss, and the Roots of It All

The interview took a powerful turn as Pete reflected on Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, and Kiss.

“Those guys were my superheroes,” he says. “If it wasn’t for Ozzy and Sabbath, I wouldn’t be here doing this today.”

It wasn’t nostalgia. It was gratitude.

“Ozzy is forever,” Pete adds. “That man is my whole childhood.”

That reverence is baked into Axe Dragger’s DNA.

What’s Next for Axe Dragger

Despite being spread across Minnesota, Texas, California, Washington DC, and Sweden, Axe Dragger is already moving forward.

“We’ve already got riffs for the second record,” Pete laughs. “Bob needs to chill.”

Two more singles will drop before the album’s release on March 6, 2026 , and live shows are firmly in the discussion.

“We all agree we need to play at least once together,” Pete says. “This can’t just live on a hard drive.”

Final Word: The Numbers Don’t Lie

When 108,646 listeners from around the world tune in live for a heavy metal interview and radio show, it says everything. The demand is still there. The hunger is real.

Axe Dragger isn’t chasing relevance. They’re proving it already exists.

“This is my favorite thing I’ve ever done,” Pete says. “I’ll put my stamp on this forever.”

Heavy metal is alive, global, and louder than ever. Turn it up. Drag the axe.

Chemicide’s “Violence Prevails” Named One of 2025’s Best Thrash Metal Albums by Loudwire - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chemicide’s “Violence Prevails” Named One of 2025’s Best Thrash Metal Albums by Loudwire

Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that Chemicide , the Costa Rican thrash metal powerhouse, has earned high praise from Loudwire , naming their latest release Violence Prevails as one of the best thrash metal albums of 2025 .

Loudwire praised the band’s fifth full-length as “a classic thrash tour de force, harking back to the halcyon days of leather jackets, battle vests, acid-washed skinny jeans and high-top sneakers.” The review highlights the album’s intense riffs, blistering solos, relentless rhythms, and bellicose vocals, noting that the band delivers powerful messages about violence and its effects on society without ever preaching.

The album concludes with a daring, high-speed cover of Metallica’s “72 Seasons” , which Loudwire calls “one of the boldest decisions we’ve heard on a thrash album this year — and a roaring affirmation of Chemicide’s bonafides.”

Violence Prevails is available now on all major streaming platforms and for purchase worldwide. Fans of old-school thrash and modern thrash titans alike will find themselves drawn into Chemicide’s relentless energy and uncompromising sound.

Metal Devastation PR Clients Earn Major Year-End Honors from No Clean Singing and The Obelisk - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Metal Devastation PR Clients Earn Major Year-End Honors from No Clean Singing and The Obelisk

Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that two of its artists, ChestCrush and Black Moon Cult , have been recognized among the Best Releases of 2025 by two of the most respected voices in underground heavy music, No Clean Singing and The Obelisk .

ChestCrush – Soul Extractor
Named one of the Best Releases of 2025 by No Clean Singing , Soul Extractor was praised for its uncompromising aggression, bleak worldview, and sheer sonic punishment. Released in April 2025, the album marked a stark evolution for the now multinational death metal act, leaning fully into disdain, rage, and hostility without offering a second of relief.

No Clean Singing highlighted the album’s lasting impact, describing it as a relentless barrage that leaves listeners worn down long after it ends. Tracks such as “Total Rejection” , “As The Damned Writhe In Eternal Woe” , and the infamously titled “Every Single Word That Comes Out Of Your Filthy Hole Is An Infectious Lie Spreading Disease” were singled out for their suffocating heaviness and unfiltered hatred. Soul Extractor was recognized as a standout release for its refusal to compromise and its ability to transcend genre lines through pure brutality.

Black Moon Cult – Ophidian Future (The Children of Yig)
Also earning high praise in 2025, Black Moon Cult were included in The Obelisk’s Best Releases of the Year , with Ophidian Future (The Children of Yig) additionally receiving the honor of Debut Album of the Year . Released via Black Doomba Records , the album was lauded for its volatile blend of heavy rock, metal, and psychedelia, and for establishing the Toledo, Ohio trio as a powerful new presence in the heavy underground.

The Obelisk praised the record’s cohesive identity, dynamic songwriting, and forward-looking potential, noting how its twisting rhythms, groove-heavy foundation, and distinctive atmosphere made it both nascent and accomplished. The album’s ability to merge multiple heavy styles into something uniquely its own ultimately secured its place as one of the year’s most important debuts.

Metal Devastation PR extends sincere thanks to No Clean Singing and The Obelisk for their continued support of underground and independent heavy music, and congratulates ChestCrush and Black Moon Cult on these well-earned achievements.

Unreleased Wayne Static Footage Discovered During Early Documentary Preparation - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Unreleased Wayne Static Footage Discovered During Early Documentary Preparation
Previously unseen 1999 interview surfaces during archival digitization

As preliminary work quietly gets underway on an upcoming documentary exploring the relationship between Wayne Static and Tera Wray, filmmaker Matt Zane has uncovered rare, unreleased footage of Wayne Static that has remained unseen for more than 25 years.

Although the documentary is not slated to officially enter production until January, Zane has already begun the process of digitizing hours of archival tapes filmed with the couple. During this early review, one tape stood out from the rest, marked only with a handwritten label that read: “1999.”

Once digitized, the tape revealed a previously unseen interview with Wayne Static, filmed shortly after STATIC-X completed its first run on Ozzfest in 1999. The footage captures Wayne at a pivotal moment, right as the band was gaining traction and his career was beginning its rapid ascent.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Zane. “It was raw footage from the first time I officially filmed Wayne. Almost 20 minutes of him right when everything was starting to happen. The tape is over 25 years old and it still plays.”

While the documentary’s primary focus centers on the relationship between Wayne Static and Tera Wray, the newly discovered interview predates that chapter of Wayne’s life by several years. Despite that, Zane believes the footage offers meaningful insight into Wayne beyond the public persona.

“There are a few things in there that really show Wayne’s depth as a person and his sense of humor,” Zane explained. “It adds context, and I’ll definitely be including some of it.”

Further details regarding the documentary will be announced as production progresses.

See some of the video here:

According to Zane, the film is intended to be a personal, emotionally driven account centered on the bond between Wayne Static and Tera Wray—a story he maintains the couple explicitly wanted him to tell.

The crowdfunding campaign for the documentary is currently live on IndieGoGo.

Antania Signs with Sound Works Direct Japan, Joining Ranks of Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Antania Signs with Sound Works Direct Japan, Joining Ranks of Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos

California-based genre-defying extreme metal innovators Antania continue their meteoric rise, now announcing their partnership with Sound Works Direct Japan (SWD) for representation in Europe and Japan. The deal places Antania alongside some of the heaviest hitters in extreme music, including Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos , solidifying their status as one of the most inventive forces in modern metal.

After storming stages across the globe with their unique fusion of black, death, doom, industrial, and experimental bass music, Antania’s unorthodox approach— no guitars, no strings, only crushing basslines, feral beats, and sheer metallic aggression —continues to set them apart. Their latest video for “ BloodLove ,” directed by Matt Zane and inspired by British serial killer Joanna Dennehy, showcases the band’s ability to merge dark storytelling with relentless sonic brutality.

Joel Spielman , manager at Extreme Management Group , comments:
"Antania has always pushed boundaries in extreme music. This partnership with SWD is a natural step for them, opening doors to new audiences and territories that are hungry for something truly unique."

Representing Antania in Asia, SWD Japan adds:
"After touring Japan with Marduk last November, it’s a real pleasure to work with ANTANIA and represent them in the Asian territory, helping them grow their presence here. This marks the beginning of a long journey together."

With influences ranging from Ministry to Slayer to The Prodigy , Antania’s sound hits like a sledgehammer— uncompromising, intense, and unapologetically brutal . Fans in Europe and Japan can now expect increased activity from the band, from festival appearances to exclusive releases, as they continue expanding their dark, genre-defying empire.

Brazil’s relentless metal force, As The Palaces Burn , return with a searing new single and video, UNITED OBSOLETION , premiering December 16, 2025. Taken from their acclaimed album ZODIAC , the track delivers a raw, uncompromising vision of a society teetering on collapse, where manipulation overrides critical thought and chaos becomes a calculated tool.

UNITED OBSOLETION doesn’t pull punches. It exposes collective exhaustion, institutional decay, and the emergence of a world driven by disinformation, fear, and division. From empty rhetoric to blind passions, the song captures the suffocating pressure of a system reshaping itself over the weakest.

The music video translates this grim reality into a visual manifesto, portraying moral decay, social unrest, and the unseen forces guiding our choices. It’s an unflinching reflection of modern times — a statement that sometimes silence is complicity, and obsolescence is shared.

As The Palaces Burn comment on the track:

“UNITED OBSOLETION is our mirror to the world we see — a reminder that to question, resist, and stay awake is more crucial than ever. The video amplifies that message with imagery as bold as the music itself.”

With ZODIAC already cementing the band’s reputation for crushing riffs, precise musicianship, and melodic heft, UNITED OBSOLETION pushes their message further — challenging listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and find strength in awareness.

Velvetcut Unleashes Grunge-Infused Anthem “Chameleon” – Out Now - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Velvetcut Unleashes Grunge-Infused Anthem “Chameleon” – Out Now!

Helsinki, Finland – Finnish alternative rock outfit Velvetcut is back with a blistering new single, “Chameleon” , released Thursday, December 18th via Rockhopper Music . Following their comeback album The Great Chameleon (New Skin) , this track acts as an “afterparty single,” carrying forward the band’s bold, transformative sound.

“Chameleon” merges gritty, grunge-infused riffs with a contemporary alternative edge, drawing sonic nods to Stone Temple Pilots, Life of Agony, and System of a Down . With punchy, anthemic energy, Velvetcut delivers soaring vocal harmonies over electrifying guitars and a driving rhythm section, creating a track that is both familiar and fresh.

Thematically, “Chameleon” explores transformation and adaptability, reflecting Velvetcut’s growth as musicians and songwriters. The evocative lyrics and dynamic arrangements make it a standout track that resonates with long-time fans while attracting new listeners.

Velvetcut has carved out a distinct place in the alternative rock scene, fusing grunge’s raw power with melodic sensibilities. Their previous release marked a triumphant return after a brief hiatus, and “Chameleon” continues that journey, pushing the boundaries of their evolving sound.

“Chameleon is kind of an afterparty single for The Great Chameleon (New Skin) album,” the band says.

STELLAGEN Releases New Album A Fraction of Infinity — Out Now - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STELLAGEN Releases New Album A Fraction of Infinity — Out Now

Sydney’s rising metal force STELLAGEN has officially unleashed their second full-length album, A Fraction of Infinity , out now on all major streaming platforms and available physically via Bandcamp.

Known for blending the melodic punch of power metal with the aggression of melodic death and thrash, STELLAGEN delivers their most ambitious and emotionally charged release to date. The album features eleven tracks packed with intense riffing, soaring choruses, dynamic vocal shifts, and a relentless sense of scale.

The previously released single “I Regret” stands as a centerpiece of the album, showcasing the band’s signature balance of melody and ferocity, pairing raw emotion with crushing heaviness and memorable hooks.

A Fraction of Infinity dives deep into themes of existential dread, cosmic insignificance, betrayal, survival, and transformation. Musically, the album fuses intricate melodic death metal riffing with powerful, anthemic choruses, weaving clean and harsh vocals together with shredding leads and complex arrangements that reward repeat listens.

Led by vocalist and guitarist Phil Brown, STELLAGEN continues to carve out their identity with emotionally driven songwriting and tight, technical musicianship. The album features Robin Stone on session drums, with mixing handled by Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, Dream Theater) and mastering by Brett Caldas-Lima at Tower Studio. Album artwork by Ben Fowler of 4th Perspective perfectly captures the dark, expansive atmosphere of the release.

For fans of Rage, Dark Tranquillity, and Children of Bodom, A Fraction of Infinity is a powerful statement from a band pushing forward without forgetting where metal came from.

Wayne Static, STATIC-X , and Matt Zane at Center of Widely Covered Metal Industry Dispute

Metal Devastation PR proudly acknowledges and thanks the metal media community for the extensive coverage surrounding our client, filmmaker Matt Zane, and his forthcoming documentary centered on the lives of the late Wayne Static and Tera Wray.

Major outlets including Blabbermouth, Metal Injection, MetalSucks, Lambgoat, The PRP, MetalAddicts, and numerous others have published detailed reports addressing the recent cease and desist issued by the Wayne Static estate, as well as Zane’s response and continued commitment to completing the film.

The coverage outlines the complex and highly publicized dispute between an artist’s estate and a filmmaker with a long-standing personal and professional relationship with the subjects of the documentary. Zane, who directed multiple music videos and projects for Wayne Static and STATIC-X, has publicly stated that his intention is to honor the story Wayne and Tera personally asked him to tell, emphasizing that his film differs in scope and purpose from the officially sanctioned STATIC-X documentary currently in production.

Media reports have also highlighted Zane’s extensive background in the rock and metal world, including award-winning documentary work and collaborations with artists such as Zakk Wylde, John 5, DMC, Wednesday 13 , and STATIC-X themselves. Despite public criticism and legal pressure, Zane has reiterated that the project will move forward while respecting the estate’s control over unreleased music and officially licensed material.

As the situation continues to develop, the widespread coverage demonstrates the metal community’s ongoing interest in discussions surrounding artistic legacy, creative rights, and the preservation of music history. The conversation has sparked strong reactions across fans, artists, and industry professionals alike, reinforcing the importance of responsible, accurate press coverage in moments of controversy.

Metal Devastation PR extends its appreciation to all media outlets involved for presenting the facts, providing context, and keeping the discussion transparent and accessible to the global metal audience.

Wayne Static Estate Issues Cease and Desist to Matt Zane — He Vows: “This Won’t Stop Me” - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wayne Static Estate Issues Cease and Desist to Matt Zane — He Vows: “This Won’t Stop Me”

Los Angeles, CA — The estate and family of late STATIC-X frontman Wayne Static have issued a cease and desist letter to filmmaker Matt Zane , following their recent public statement in which they “strenuously object” to Zane’s announcement of an unauthorized documentary focusing on Wayne Static and his wife, Tera Wray .

The legal notice arrived just days after the family made clear they were prepared to take action to halt any unapproved production. In a statement, the families said, “We are not interested in the further development of any unauthorized biography or documentary...”

Zane, however, remains defiant.

“This won’t stop me. I’m ready and willing to take this as far as it goes. If it ends up in court, so be it. This movie will be made and released if it’s the last thing that I do,” said Zane.

Zane has also questioned why his project has been singled out when multiple unauthorized documentaries about Wayne Static already exist online.

“If you go to YouTube right now you’ll see multiple unauthorized documentaries about Wayne Static with hundreds of thousands of views. None of them were threatened with legal action. I’m the only one served with a cease and desist letter — and I haven’t even started production yet. Why am I being singled out?” Zane stated.

Since news of the estates disapproval broke, Zane has faced intense backlash from segments of the fan community. He believes much of the criticism stems from a lack of awareness about his long-standing personal and professional relationship with Wayne Static and Tera Wray.

“Most people attacking me simply don’t know my history with Wayne and Tera or the work I’ve done over the past 15 years,” Zane explained.

Zane pointed to his filmmaking credentials and extensive work within the rock and metal world.

“My first documentary, DV Karloff: The Altered Noise , won an award at the American Horrors Film Festival. I’ve worked with Zakk Wylde, John 5, DMC, Wednesday 13 and more, directing commercials and music videos. STATIC-X themselves hired me for multiple music videos, commercials, and social media content. Wayne hired me for all of his video work after STATIC-X. My career may have started in adult films, but I haven’t been in that world for many years.”

Despite presenting what he considers clear facts, Zane says some critics refuse to reconsider their stance. The controversy has prompted him to reflect on a private exchange he once had with Wayne Static.

“Since this all started, it made me remember something Wayne told me once that’s helped me stay focused. I actually searched to see if I still had the email so I could relay it properly,” said Zane.

According to Zane, Wayne Static wrote:

“I’ve always felt people are too dumb to understand what’s really going on around us. It seems like you share that feeling.”

As tensions escalate, the dispute appears far from over. Whether resolved privately or in court, Zane insists the documentary will move forward — setting the stage for a highly publicized clash between an artist’s estate and a filmmaker claiming to honor his late friend’s legacy.

Rock Hard Magazine Spotlights Metal Devastation PR Artists in Massive New Issue - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rock Hard Magazine Spotlights Metal Devastation PR Artists in Massive New Issue

Big wins still matter, and this one is a monster.

Metal Devastation PR proudly sends a huge thank you to the legendary Rock Hard Magazine for featuring several of our artists in the latest issue. This edition is stacked to the ceiling, with Alter Bridge, Yungblud, Moonspell, Amorphis and more on board, which means serious circulation and real-world exposure. The kind that actually moves the needle.

That spotlight shines directly on St. Unholyness, Mordeth, On The Loose, Kaldeira, Psyc 6, and Jord , putting these artists in front of fresh eyes and new ears across the global metal community. This is exactly what strong, long-game PR is supposed to do.

Featured Artists Highlights

PSYC 6
Hailing from Sweden, melodic groove metal outfit Psyc 6 are currently forging ahead with a new lineup and new material. Their single Swallow the Pill pulls no punches, taking aim at a broken healthcare system and the emotional numbness it creates. Darker times demand darker music, and Psyc 6 are leaning into that truth with intent. A new album is planned for 2026.

MORDETH
Brazilian death metal veterans Mordeth return with Hermetic Creation , a brutal and thought provoking dive into sci-fi occultism. Blending atmosphere with raw aggression, the band explores the fusion of spirit, machine, creation, and destruction. Rooted in Hermetic philosophy and powered by South American intensity, this release proves Mordeth are still evolving without losing their teeth.

ON THE LOOSE
Portugal’s On The Loose deliver epic, theatrical doom metal on Path to Serenity . Founder Marco Marouco describes the album as a turning point, moving from depression toward balance and clarity. Lyrical themes explore awareness, resistance, and the reality that what matters most is how we choose to live between the beginning and the end.

KALDEIRA
From Reunion Island, Kaldeira introduce a bold new chapter with Fournaise . Formerly known as The Hill Is Burning, the band embraces a stronger identity tied to the volcanic origins of their home. Their progressive metal sound blends Western heaviness with the raw, ritualistic energy of Maloya, creating something fierce, cultural, and unmistakably their own.

ST. UNHOLYNESS
Germany’s St. Unholyness confront darkness head-on with Through High Holy Haze . Fueled by personal trauma and hard-earned self awareness, the band’s stoner doom approach thrives on contrast and provocation. Their message is blunt and honest. Growth comes from conflict, and light only exists because shadow does too.

JORD
Swedish atmospheric black metal project Jord draws inspiration directly from nature itself. Founder Jörgen Ström writes much of the material while walking alone through forests, allowing silence and space to shape the music. Influenced as much by Alcest, Katatonia, and cinematic composers as by black metal tradition, Jord delivers emotional weight, mystery, and quiet power.

Why This Matters

Rock Hard Magazine is not just another feature. It is a trusted institution in heavy music, with decades of credibility and a readership that still buys magazines, still listens deeply, and still supports bands that earn it.

This is what effective metal PR looks like. Real coverage. Real platforms. Real results.

Metal Devastation PR is proud of every artist featured, and grateful to Rock Hard Magazine for continuing to support underground and independent metal worldwide.

That’s what it’s all about.
