Teaser Trailer for Death Reigns Documentary on Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Festival Released Online! - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Teaser Trailer for Death Reigns Documentary on Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Festival Released Online

We are thrilled to announce the release of the teaser trailer for Death Reigns, a documentary highlighting the intense battle between Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Festival and the religious locals of small-town Tennessee. The teaser, which premiered at the Hub City Film Festival on September 27th, gives an early glimpse into the festival's clash with local fundamentalists and conservative politicians. The full teaser is available now on YouTube.

Death Reigns is directed by Tennessee filmmaker Randall Kendrick, known for The Steel Garden. This documentary captures the story of Raven Moonla and Zach Moonshine, radio hosts and promoters who dared to organize an underground metal festival in a deeply religious region. Their efforts sparked outrage from local religious and political groups but also united those who felt alienated by the Bible Belt's restrictive culture.

The film follows the trials and triumphs of the Metal Devastation Festival, shining a light on the resilience of the organizers and attendees. Through their perseverance, the festival has become a symbol of defiance and freedom in the face of cultural opposition.

Filming will continue at the 2024 Metal Devastation Music Festival, set to take place on October 5th in Jackson, Tennessee. Metal fans are encouraged to attend and become part of the crowd featured in this exciting documentary.

ADORIOR's Long-Awaited Album Bleed on My Teeth Out Now via Dark Descent Records - @thebeast

After nearly two decades of silence, apocalyptic black/death nihilists ADORIOR have returned with their latest full-length assault, Bleed on My Teeth. Released today through Dark Descent Records and Sepulchral Voice Records (for European orders), this album marks the end of a 20-year wait and a triumphant return to the extreme metal scene.

Bleed on My Teeth is available on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats, and fans can order their copies now at darkdescentrecords.com/shop. The album is also streaming on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Alongside the album release, ADORIOR has dropped a music video for their track "L.O.T.P. - Vomit Vomit Vomit Bastard," a violent and visceral display of the band's unrelenting aggression. Watch the video here: .

A Monument of Extreme Heavy Metal

ADORIOR has always embodied the essence of true extreme metal, and Bleed on My Teeth is no exception. It delivers a sonic avalanche of thrashing speed, pitch-black death, and uncompromising aggression, unapologetically challenging the modern metal landscape. The album was expertly recorded at Priory Studios by Greg Chandler and brutally mastered by Patrick Engel, resulting in a raw, cruel, and crushing sound.

Following up on their 2005 release Author of Incest, Bleed on My Teeth reanimates the dangerous and repulsive energy that ADORIOR is known for. It rejects the watered-down trends of modern metal, presenting a nightmare of pure, nihilistic extremity. The album’s eight tracks pull no punches, bringing back the devil-serving, blasphemous ferocity that has always defined the band.

With artwork by Belial Necroarts, Bleed on My Teeth encapsulates the dread and violence of ADORIOR's worldview. It’s a record meant for the black-hearted and the damned, serving as a brutal reminder of what true extreme metal is.

Tracklist for Bleed on My Teeth:

    Begrime Judas
    Ophidian Strike
L.O.T.P. - Vomit Vomit Vomit Bastard
    Precipice of Fire
    Sips of Sarin
    Scavengers of Vengeance
    Moment of Mania
    Bleed on My Teeth

Lineup:

    T. Slutsodomizer - Guitars
    Jaded Lungs - Vocals
    D. Molestör - Drums
    S. Assassinator - Guitars
    R.C. - Bass

With Bleed on My Teeth, ADORIOR stands tall as the true nemesis of pseudo-rebellious metal, delivering a feral, unapologetic sound that breaks through the sanitized walls of the modern scene.

Press Release: BalashToth Unleashes New EP "=Equation=" Along with the Release of the Third Single and Video "Shame x Failure" - @thebeast

Release Date: September 26, 2024

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BalashToth Unleashes New EP "=Equation=" Along with the Release of the Third Single and Video "Shame x Failure"

Ireland – The wait is over! BalashToth, the solo project of former Casketgarden guitarist Balazs Toth, proudly announces the release of their second EP, =Equation=, now available in digital and limited digipack CD formats. The CD, titled "=Anti-Life/Equation=", includes both the latest EP and the project’s first release, offering fans a comprehensive collection of BalashToth's raw, riff-driven melodic death and thrash metal. The EP is available on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms.

To mark the occasion, BalashToth has also released the third video from the EP, "Shame x Failure," partially directed and shot by Boris Sarafutgyinov, vocalist of the legendary German death metal band Fleshcrawl, Deprived Salvation, and his solo project Boris The Savage.

Musically, "Shame x Failure" is one of the most complex tracks on the EP, beginning with a relentless death/thrash attack and evolving into a progressive sound reminiscent of Tool. Lyrically, the song tackles the modern-day weaponization of smear campaigns, used to silence and discredit opinions and nullify the lifelong achievements of individuals who once enjoyed wide acclaim. As with all the songs on the EP, the title comes from the "anti-life equation," a concept introduced by DC Comics that represents a formula capable of stripping away free will.

The new EP explores themes of alienation, societal manipulation, and human struggles, blending folk music-infused melodies with aggressive death and thrash metal. Tracks like "Loneliness + Alienation" and "Folly" have already been released as singles, earning critical praise for their intensity and depth.

BalashToth has established itself as a standout act for fans of At The Gates, Dimension Zero, The Haunted, and Carcass, delivering a sound that honors old-school melodic death metal while pushing the boundaries of modern thrash.

Founded by Balazs Toth, based in Ireland since 2012, BalashToth began as a YouTube channel dedicated to guitar work before evolving into a full-fledged project with original compositions. Following the success of the 2023 EP Anti-Life, which was recognized as one of the Top 3 best Irish metal EPs of the year by Burning Metal IRL, Toth has continued to hone his craft with DIY production, blending relentless riffs with thoughtful themes that resonate with contemporary political and social struggles.

For Fans Of: At The Gates, Dimension Zero, Carcass, The Haunted

=Equation= is now available on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms. The limited digipack CD version includes both =Equation= and the first EP Anti-Life, offering a complete experience of BalashToth's evolution.

The EP’s title, Verbundenheit, translates to "connectedness" in English, reflecting the project’s thematic focus on the connection between the primal and the ethereal. KdK delves deep into the realms of darkness, creating soundscapes that transcend the physical world, drawing listeners into an introspective journey of self-reflection and raw emotional depth. Tracks on the EP highlight Knecht Geiper’s signature lo-fi production, which gives the music its harsh, unpolished edge—perfect for fans of German Ambient and Raw Modern Conscious Black Metal.

Founded in Munich, Germany, Kravt durch Krebs is the brainchild of Knecht Geiper, who has been steadily carving out a niche in the black metal underground. Inspired by the early black metal pioneers, KdK’s music balances relentless aggression with a subtle infusion of ambient and expressive elements. Geiper’s attention to atmosphere and raw intensity has garnered comparisons to legends like Woods of Ypres and Paysage D’Hiver, establishing KdK as a formidable force in the modern black metal scene.

Verbundenheit is now available on all major streaming platforms. This EP marks the next step in KdK's musical journey, further solidifying the project’s presence in the black metal underground while hinting at untapped creative potential yet to come.

What To Consider Before Taking A Payday Loan - Financial Responsibility Tip From Experts - @thebeast

Image by Frantisek Krejci from Pixabay

When unexpected expenses pop up, and payday feels like ages away, a loan might seem like a lifesaver. But hold your horses! Before jumping into this quick fix, it's crucial to understand what you're getting yourself into. Payday loans can be a double-edged sword—they offer immediate relief but can lead to a cycle of debt if not handled carefully. This guide will delve into what experts suggest you should consider before taking out a payday loan. Let's navigate this financial maze together and ensure you're making the smartest move for your wallet.

Understanding the True Cost of Payday Loans

First things first, let's unpack the real cost of payday loans. They might look simple on the surface—a small loan to tide you over until your next paycheck. However, the devil is in the details. Payday loans often come with sky-high interest rates and fees that can spin your head.

Imagine borrowing a few hundred dollars and then being slapped with fees that amount to a significant portion of the loan. We're talking about annual percentage rates (APRs) that can soar into the triple digits. That's a hefty price to pay for quick cash. These costs can quickly snowball, especially if you're unable to repay the loan on time.

Reading the fine print and understanding exactly what you agree to is essential. Calculate the total amount you'll owe, including all interest and fees. Don't just focus on the immediate cash in hand. Consider how the repayment will fit into your budget. Can you cover it without falling short on other essential expenses like rent or groceries?

Experts advise you to consider only a payday loan if you're confident you can repay it in full and on time. Otherwise, you risk rolling over the loan, incurring additional fees, and falling into a debt trap. It's a slippery slope that can lead to long-term financial stress. So, before you sign on the dotted line, ensure you've done the math and fully understand the cost involved.

Exploring Alternatives to Payday Loans

Before committing to a payday loan, exploring other options is wise. You might be surprised at the alternatives available that won't put such a strain on your finances. For instance, have you considered reaching out to friends or family? It might be uncomfortable, but borrowing from someone you trust can save you from exorbitant fees and interest rates.

Another avenue is to speak with your employer. Some companies offer paycheck advances or employee assistance programs. It never hurts to ask, and you might find a far less costly solution than a payday loan. Employers often appreciate the initiative and may be willing to help you in a pinch.

Credit unions and community banks sometimes offer small, short-term loans with much more favorable terms. If you're a member, you could qualify for a loan with lower interest rates and more manageable repayment plans. Even if you're not a member, joining a credit union can provide access to these benefits.

Don't overlook the possibility of negotiating with your creditors. If the financial crunch is due to bills or existing debts, reach out to those you owe. They may be willing to set up a payment plan or offer a temporary deferment. Companies often prefer to work with you rather than risk default.

Consider selling unused items or picking up a side gig to generate extra cash. Platforms for selling goods online make turning unwanted items into money easier than ever. Gig economy jobs like ridesharing, food delivery, or freelance work can provide quick income to bridge the gap. These options might require more effort but can prevent you from accumulating debt.

Assessing Your Ability to Repay Without Hardship

Let's get real about your financial situation. Before taking out a payday loan, assessing whether you can repay it without causing yourself further hardship is crucial. It's easy to assume that your next paycheck will cover the loan, but unexpected expenses can throw a wrench in that plan.

Create a detailed budget that accounts for all your income and expenses. Include the payday loan repayment in this budget. Will you still have enough to cover your necessities? If repaying the loan leaves you scraping the bottom of the barrel, it might not be the best move.

Consider any upcoming expenses that could affect your ability to repay. Car repairs, medical bills, or even seasonal costs like higher utility bills can impact your finances. Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs when you least expect it. Planning ahead can help you avoid a tight spot.

Also, think about the stability of your income. If your job situation is uncertain or if you have irregular income, relying on future earnings to repay a loan is risky business. You don't want to find yourself between a rock and a hard place if things don't go as planned.

Experts suggest building an emergency fund to cover unexpected expenses. Even a small cushion can make a big difference. It might not help you right now, but starting to save can prevent similar situations in the future. If you're not confident in your ability to repay a payday loan without hardship, it's a strong signal to consider other options.

Taking out a payday loan is a significant financial decision that shouldn't be taken lightly. By understanding the true costs involved, exploring alternative solutions, and honestly assessing your ability to repay without hardship, you can make a choice that's in your best interest. Remember, financial responsibility isn't just about solving today's problems—it's about setting yourself up for a stable future.

Before you leap, take a moment to weigh your options. If you're unsure, reach out for advice. Sometimes, the best solution is a combination of small steps rather than one big leap. By approaching the situation thoughtfully and carefully, you'll navigate this challenge and become stronger on the other side. Finally, if you are wondering where to buy kratom from, check out the following article!

Sybreed New Lyric Video for "System Debaser" Featured At Bravewords! - @thebeast

Sybreed Unveils New Lyric Video for "System Debaser" Ahead of Highly Anticipated Slave Design Reissue!

Super massive thanks to our good friends at the legendary Bravewords.com for featuring Metal Devastation PR clients Sybreed and their new video!

Swiss industrial metal pioneers Sybreed have unleashed their brand-new lyric video for the track "System Debaser", a song originally written in 2003 but shelved during the production of their iconic debut album Slave Design. Now, as part of the much-anticipated Slave Design reissue, "System Debaser" has finally been recorded and revealed to fans for the first time—marking a significant moment in the band's history.

The Slave Design reissue, set for release on October 4, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Sybreed’s groundbreaking 2004 album. This special edition has been fully remastered by renowned engineer Jens Bogren, featuring stunning new artwork by Erik Kirchner and two newly recorded tracks, including a modern version of "Bioactive" and the previously unreleased "System Debaser."

Kirchner, who designed the revamped cover art, shared his excitement:
"I am beyond thrilled to finally reveal the official cover art I designed for Swiss industrial metal band Sybreed. In celebration of Slave Design's 20th Anniversary, Drop honored me with the opportunity to reimagine the iconic album's entire artwork. His only request was for the original cover concept to remain the same and for the new cover to appear modern and void of human features. The interior album art panels illustrate the potentially bleak future of a human civilization enslaved by its own biomechanical creations."

Pre-orders for the Slave Design reissue CD are available now, with vinyl pre-orders to be announced later this year. Fans of Sybreed won’t want to miss this epic re-release, featuring a modern twist on the album that helped define the industrial metal genre.

Watch the new lyric video for "System Debaser" and get ready for an exciting celebration of Sybreed’s legacy!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sybreed Announces 20th Anniversary Edition of Debut Album "Slave Design" and Unveils New Single "System Debaser"

Industrial metal pioneers Sybreed are set to re-release their seminal debut album, Slave Design, in a special 20th Anniversary Edition on October 4th, 2024. This highly anticipated reissue comes two decades after the album's original release in 2004, offering fans a refreshed experience of the record that helped define the "death wave" genre—a potent blend of New Wave and Death Metal.

In addition to the remastered tracks, the 20th Anniversary Edition of Slave Design will feature a re-recording of the fan-favorite track "Bioactive" and a previously unreleased song titled "System Debaser," both of which were recorded in 2023. Sybreed’s music has always envisioned a bleak, dystopian future where the integrity of the individual is threatened by the insatiable thirst for control from those in power—a theme more relevant today than ever.

Slave Design is a cornerstone in the industrial metal scene, featuring on the soundtracks of iconic films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hellboy: Sword of Storms. With this special re-release, Sybreed reaffirms their status as a legendary band, continuing to influence and resonate with a dedicated fanbase around the world.

Formed in 2003, Sybreed quickly rose to prominence in the industrial metal scene with their unique fusion of New Wave and Death Metal, a style they dubbed "Death Wave." Over a decade, the band released four critically acclaimed albums—Slave Design (2004), Antares (2007), The Pulse of Awakening (2009), and God Is An Automaton (2012)—before disbanding in 2013. Their legacy continues to thrive, with fans and musicians alike still drawing inspiration from their innovative sound.

Press Release: Death of Giants Unveils Haunting Music Video for Their Cover of Iron Maiden’s “Only the Good Die Young” - @thebeast

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Death of Giants Unveils Haunting Music Video for Their Cover of Iron Maiden’s “Only the Good Die Young”

A Melancholic Take on a Classic, Now with Visuals to Match the Emotional Weight

Norwegian melancholic doom-metal band Death of Giants has released a powerful music video for their evocative cover of Iron Maiden's "Only the Good Die Young." Originally featured on their 2023 album Ventesorg, this reimagined version transforms the iconic track into a deeply emotional and sorrowful anthem.

No Clean Singing described the cover as "slow and dreamlike," while Angry Metal Guy praised the album Ventesorg for its “profound emotional resonance.” The album, and this track in particular, is rooted in the personal grief of frontman Morten Søbyskogen, who wrote Ventesorg to process the loss of his wife to brain cancer. The Norwegian word "ventesorg" translates to "anticipatory grief," which aptly reflects the album's overarching themes of mortality and sorrow.

The video, released on August 29, 2024, intertwines live performance footage with poignant imagery, amplifying the track’s exploration of loss and grief. Søbyskogen explains:
"I wanted to reshape this song into something that reflected my experience with grief. This video captures different aspects of grief like confusion and denial. 'Only the good die young' is stating the unfairness of all lives taken too soon."

Musically, the cover combines delicate piano, sweeping strings, and crashing chords with Søbyskogen’s versatile vocal delivery—ranging from deep, guttural growls to soaring cleans—creating a dynamic that is both fragile and powerful. The music was produced by Øyvind Voldmo Larsen at Lionheart Studio in Oslo, while mastering was done by Markus Teske at Bazement Studio in Germany.

This new release is highly recommended for fans of My Dying Bride, Candlemass, and Woods of Ypres, offering a unique take on Iron Maiden’s classic while maintaining the core emotional depth of Death of Giants’ melancholic doom-metal sound.

'In Chaos' New Album 'Hope Wears Black' Reviewed By Metal Integral Magazine! - @thebeast

Hope Wears Black by In Chaos Reviewed by Metal Integral Magazine

Portuguese thrash metal titans In Chaos have received high praise from Metal Integral Magazine for their explosive new album, Hope Wears Black. In a glowing review, the band is hailed for delivering an essential thrash metal record for 2024, cementing their place in the international metal scene.

Formed in 2010 and known for their relentless dedication despite numerous lineup changes, In Chaos has emerged stronger than ever. Their debut album From Chaos Rises Order (2016) introduced their signature blend of heavy metal and mid-tempo thrash. Now, with their sophomore release, Hope Wears Black, the band has taken their sound to new heights.

Metal Integral describes Hope Wears Black as "a top-tier thrash album" that draws parallels to the legendary Bay Area thrash scene, particularly likening André Marinho's vocal style to that of Megadeth's Dave Mustaine. The album’s sharp, syncopated rhythms and melodic prowess offer a fresh take on thrash, with tracks like Something You Can't Be setting the stage with a Megadeth-inspired sound.

The review highlights the album's transformation from a solid first half to a more intense second half, with tracks like War Is Coming standing out as a defining moment. The basslines, reminiscent of Billy Sheehan, and the overall speed metal structure are lauded for opening new horizons for the band. Songs like Venom and Roots of Hate push the boundaries of thrash, showcasing In Chaos' technical mastery, prog elements, and powerful arrangements.

Metal Integral’s reviewer expressed admiration for the album’s climactic closer, praising the "complex riff, epic solos, and white-hot rhythm" that deliver a striking finish to the album. In Chaos’ ability to blend speed thrash with pounding metal, along with their exceptional musicianship, has left fans and critics alike in awe.

The review concludes by commending the band for crafting a high-level work that could make "San Francisco feel like the capital of Portugal." After eight years, Hope Wears Black not only lives up to expectations but elevates In Chaos to the forefront of the thrash metal revival.

Hope Wears Black is available now, and fans can expect more thrilling performances and releases from In Chaos as they continue to conquer the global metal scene.

For fans of: Megadeth, Bay Area thrash, technical thrash metal.
