Pyre Fyre - Self Titled - Reviewed By Metal Digest ! Check it out
https://metal-digest.com/2023/08/14/pyre-fyre-pyre-fyre/
/>
New Jersey upstarts Pyre Fyre follow on from a handful of well received singles and have now released their first substantial collection of songs with a self-titled EP/mini album. In the resurgent and well populated Stoner genre it is nigh-on impossible to carve your own niche without heading to the extreme, and Pyre Fyre quite wisely avoid heading too far out to be accessible and strike a neat balance somewhere along the Stoner/Fuzzed-out Psychedelia sliding scale, and simply write solid tunes.
Seven songs in a scrape over 18min is pushing it to call this an album in the accepted sense, but in a scene known for excessive long-form compositions, it is somewhat refreshing to have short and snappy songs devoid of flab and repetition. When things head further down the Psych route, such as the excellent “Arachnophobia” and “Cordyceps” that close out the record, the band really fall into a groove that is every bit as good as the biggest name artists in the Stoner and Doom world.
Yep, there isn’t exactly a whole heap of content, but what there is is really quite good. Nothing groundbreaking or exceptional; but it’s a thoroughly good listen and a foretaste of what these guys may well be capable of in the future. Metal Digest
Release Date: June 29, 2023
FFO: Melvins, Sleep, Boris, Motorhead
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Bio: Pyre Fyre is a heavy metal band from New Jersey featuring Dan Kirwan on Bass and vocals, Mike Montemarano on drums and vocals, and Dylan Wheeler on guitar and vocals. Starting out as a fuzzed-out two-piece, the band quickly shifted gears into darker and heavier territory, with the addition of guitarist Dylan Wheeler in 2022 after a series of lineup changes. Touching on hardcore punk, sludge, thrash, and psychedelia, Pyre Fyre’s debut finds the band celebrating their diverse roots as well as expanding the scope of the modern heavy metal lexicon.

Hailing from the Keystone State, US, Forced Hand is one of many bands doing its part to carry on the legacy of bands such as Lamb of God, BLS, and Pantera. Let’s face it; these icons are nearing their exit, and when taking a well-deserved bruised and bloodied bow, to whom will they pass the torch? It may not be Forced Hand, but then again, why the hell not? With their second EP, ‘War,’ the guys bring a brutal, unapologetic ass kicking the world seriously needs. Riding a balance of Blythe and Anselmo, with the occasional venture into Grindcore, Bryce Schreyer’s vocals pair nicely with the pummeling rhythms the band provides. There’s plenty of Thrash, crash, and threats to the vertebral bodies with songs that get in, do their damage, and go merrily along their way.
The first three tracks are gloriously violent and filled with melodic fury. Unfortunately, while stellar, these songs borrow heavily from a well-worn playbook, coming off as more adulation rather than innovation. But then enters the final track, “Bellicose,” where my eyes widened, and my jaw dropped. The band introduces clean(ish) vocals, multi-layered production, and even strings! Where the hell has this been, and more importantly, is there more? Combine more songs like this with a tincture of time, and this may be where the proverbial torch is passed. Outings like this assure me that the future of Metal is alive and well…and could be living in Pennsylvania. Who knew? Metal Digest

Three years after the last effort “Digitotality”, the Czech Exorcizphobia come out with a new album: “Spiritual Exodus”! The themes covered in the new album range between reincarnation, mental conditioning and altered visions of reality. Band formed in 2006 native to the Czechia, it adopts an old-fashioned thrash metal late 80s, with an inclination towards the New Jersey/Bay Area "school" but with a modern and personalized touch. In their songs you can hear influences from Overkill to Anthrax. In "Spiritual Exodus" we meet a very aggressive Thrash Metal, but sometimes also "melodious". Strong tones and heavy rhythmic guitars with pounding rhythm on drums are the master in all the songs, leaving a little 'back to perception the voice and perhaps even the solo guitars. Problems of mixing or production? Let’s start with “Initiation”: an instrumental start that after a few minutes leaves the field with granite riffs and a disruptive and aggressive energy! “Violence And War”, although pounding and continuous of “Initiation” has a character of his own, a violent and angry attitude, with grooves and massive riffs that are very reminiscent of the Thrash style of the 80s/90s. A good deal. “Reflection”: maybe the song I prefer, short as a duration but not as intensity and involvement. The voice changes completely tone becoming almost melodic with an excellent galloping rhythm. As if to want to trespass into a more catchy Thrash Metal, but without daring too much. “Down The Rabbit Hole” takes us to a tighter pace with Anthrax riffs. "Those Who Oppose" recalls '90s Heavy Metal pieces as a compositional or inspirational nature, I dare say to the "Black Album". "Ring-Pass-Not" is a piece in which we find the best of the influence of the Death Angel and Testament, also great protagonists of the American historical Thrash.
"Through A Glass Darkly": the pace slows, but the level of arrangement remains faithful to the stamp imposed on the album. The voice also becomes less furious and more distinctive. A nice piece with its overwhelming riffs and solos of very good workmanship. Here, if I close my eyes I feel like listening to a Heavy/Thrash band from the late '80s. To close the record we think “Tiwanaku”, an instrumental that begins with a classical guitar with sweet notes that accompany the start of the drums and then unleash the guitars that raise the rhythm. An instrumental that lasts 7 minutes, seems almost to accompany the listener with more melodic and rocking sounds at the end of the album, leaving behind all the roar, anger and aggression that has accompanied us here. Only around the final minutes the pace is slightly faster, but keeping that more Heavy component. Nice solo around the fifth minute. Overall a song that didn’t mind at all, the right conclusion of a well-made album. Beautiful artwork on the album, it gives a good idea of the themes covered in "Spiritual Exodus".
Favorite songs: “Reflections”, “Through A Glass Darkly” and the instrumental “Tiwanaku”. allaroundmetal

Exorcizphobia is back with new LP! The album is titled “Spiritual Exodus“ and in many ways continues where its predecessor “Digitotality“ from 2020 ends. Through the themes as reincarnation (Reflections, Ring-Pass-Not or Through a Glass Darkly, which is musicalized poem of general George S. Patton), altered states of consciousness (Initiation) or alternative points of view on our reality (Down The Rabbit Hole, Those Who Oppose), finding itself in the atmosphere of combining the ancient and current. The aesthetics of this aproach is even audible. Old school fashioned thrash metal is combined with modern and distinctive touch. The whole record concludes in seven plus minutes long instrumental called “Tiwanaku“ which links the music with fantastic artwork made by Paolo Girardi.
“Spiritual Exodus“ will be out through DOOMENTIA RECORDS on Vinyl (black, color gatefold), CD and MC. Special CD edition for Japan will contain songs from EP “Friend Of Lunacy“ and will be out on CARNAL BEAST. Release date of the physical formats is September 22. Album will be out on all digital platforms on September 25, except bandcamp (6th of October – bandcamp Friday). The band will be promoting the album on the german club tour with Israeli band BLACK SACHBAK.

Xenomorph – Delusions Ov Morality - Reviewed By zwaremetalen ! Check it out here

/>
Films can be a source of inspiration for music or art, or vice versa. In some cases, this interaction is so close that it develops into a phenomenon that effortlessly stands the test of time. For example, Swiss surrealist artist HR Geiger (whom we all know from the album cover of Celtic Frost 's To Mega Therion ) used his unique artistic style to create the antagonist from the influential horror film Alien (1979) and all subsequent films in the franchise. . This antagonist is an alien, endoparasitic creature referred to as “Xenomorph”. The Alien films stood out not only for the artful design of their alien creature, the uncompromising, gruesome images and the hard action scenes, but also for their unprecedented atmosphere creation, both in images and in music. These Tech Noir (an artful mix of Film Noir and science fiction) films evoke a constant feeling of fear, threat, deception and hopelessness, which means they require some effort from the viewer. But that is precisely why they can now be regarded as milestones in film history.
Whether Xenomorph 's Delusions Ov Morality will also make it into the history books remains to be seen, although the band is doing everything it can to put itself on the map with its unusual approach. Because yes, in this case the saying Nomen est Omen really applies one hundred percent. This band from Cincinnati, America, has come up with the brilliant idea to connect the hopelessness inherent in the Alien films with the hopelessness of the American Rust Belt, of which Cincinnati is a part. This “Manufacturing Belt”, an area south of the Great Lakes, was once the epicenter of the American heavy metal and automotive industries of the first half of the twentieth century. However, in the middle of the same century, decline and exodus began (due to various economic causes), as a result of which the now abandoned Manufacturing Belt was given the new name “Rust Belt”: an area characterized by unemployment, vacancy and crime.
A perfect breeding ground for the blackest of metals. At least that is the opinion of Mr. , then called Xenomorph8472 , a fairly obvious reference to Species 8472, another terrifying species of aliens you might recognize from Star Trek: Voyager. It is not entirely clear to me to what extent appendix 8472 is currently still being used, but it is clear that Mr. “Nihilistic Rustbelt Black Metal”, that became the appropriate name for the music he made, but on the debut album Rüstwelt it still took some time to find its precise meaning. The promo mentions Darkspace as a source of inspiration and that can certainly be justified thematically, atmospherically and purely musically. Dominating, programmed (?) drum clatter, icy high screeching, razor-sharp, melancholic riffs and a good portion of chaos and madness, that pretty much sums up the first album. The music was also characterized by the frequent use of samples. Rüstwelt was a more than solid album that would make any lover of more turbulent and chaotic black metal happy, although the production was so dry and flat that it failed to find much depth. You hear Darkspace in it, but also Crimson Moon or old Emperor . So it wasn't entirely clear what direction Xenomorph would take with this new EP.
The structure is absolutely fantastic. All too often with black metal releases you hear a short run-in, after which the band wants to get out of the starting blocks as quickly as possible. Not here (not at Rüstwelt either, by the way). No, the intro includes a full-fledged track of more than three minutes, where deep drone synths form the background for the story of HR Geiger and his Alien. Just like on the debut album, samples are used, in this case original audio from an interview with the artist himself. Well, if you want to stay true to your subject, then this is definitely the way to go. It not only creates atmosphere (the synths evolve into an apocalyptic goosebumps theme that immediately catapults you back to the horror films of the eighties: wonderful!!), but also brings you as a listener closer to the subject of the music. The monumental synth sound, combined with the (unintentionally) nasty voice of HR Geiger, sucks you inexorably into the lightless depths of the endless cosmos, where bloodthirsty monsters await you. What a strong start, and we haven't heard a second of black metal yet...
After this introduction we immediately hear the title track. The now obligatory sample, from the first Alien film (here you can also hear where the album title was found...) is followed by raw, mid-tempo black metal, evolving around broad, brutal and clumsy tremolo riffs, tight, industrial drumming and icy vocals. The repetitive melody lines in the guitars and the full, deep sound make it a remarkably pleasant listen, although it lacks some excitement and is also a bit too anonymous for a title track if you ask me. It is in line with what other raw black bands bring, but compared to the work of their peers, Delusions Ov Morality is much more tangible, concrete and (despite the deliberately "rusty" production) it has a much more accessible sound.
“This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training.” If you want to use a quote from Aliens, then it is indeed better to choose this classic. Non Arma, Nulla Militaris means about the same as that quote, but compared to the title track there is a lot more firepower here. And with exactly the same elements. Xenomorph has simply increased the tempo here, tightened up the sound a bit and started playing with the rhythm a bit more. And in good Alien tradition, everything is set ablaze this time. Non Arma? The flamethrowers, reflected in merciless screams, continuously spray death and destruction here...
The fourth song, To the Void (Agnus Dei) , takes us to Alien³ and is based on a number of quotes from the religiously inspired prisoner Leonard Dillon, which you hear throughout the song. A clear concept has been built up for this track, but I still have the feeling that there is not enough musically in return. I think the lonely-feeling lead and its structure at the beginning (underpinning with synths, progression with tremolo) are successful, as well as the way in which the second sample provides a seamless transition to a faster and fiercer part. Despite the clear theme (both in terms of content and in the repeated riffs used), I never get the feeling that the music tells as fascinating a story as the film. The song relies too much on the samples and not enough on the music. Too bad actually.
The chronology is also retained on Mère Des Monstres , because this time the sample at the beginning of the song indeed comes from Alien: Resurrection. This time Ellen Ripley herself is central. It is a pretty fundamental quote for the film and the series, but once again Xenomorph continues to stumble on the spot. The raw black metal itself is solid, the tremolo riffs come into their own and the sound is nicely balanced (voice, guitars and drums are all perfectly distinguishable, something that can be a problem in this genre). but it doesn't really get anywhere memorable.
Had Xenomorph chosen to end this EP after Non Arma, Nulla Militaris , I would certainly have been positive about what I heard. Not world class, but well composed raw black metal with a very nice concept. The last two songs, however, do not add much, although I understand that they were necessary because of the chronology of the films that is woven throughout Delusions Ov Morality . Unfortunately, we only hear the impact and fury that was characteristic of Rüstwelt only sparsely on this EP. Even the pumping bass drums have largely disappeared (and been replaced by a much softer version). There is too much playing it safe, especially in the second part of this release, and it comes across as a bit uninspired. All in all, Xenomorph doesn't get any further than “decent” here. Fans of raw black metal will certainly enjoy this, but they will also have to admit that there was more to it. I think the intro is completely brilliant. I advise anyone who wants to give Delusions Ov Morality a chance to limit themselves to the first three tracks. Success assured. zwaremetalen

Short Bio: The Hated Dungeon Dwelling Nihilistic Black Metal Artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. The 3rd Nihilistic Rustbelt Black Metal Release, Delusions Ov Morality, is a journey beginning with the conception of HR Giger's Alien, and subsequent film quadrilogy interpretations of this concept. The name sake of this music project, Giger's Alien undergoes metamorphosis through the minds and imaginations of each soul, culminating in a truly formless, yet dangerous being that brings inner strength and power to those aligned with it. The tracks on this extended play explore the points of view of different characters in the original four films, connecting the timeless attraction of these cinematic experiences into the eternal individual's own specific realm of existence.

Review by Sandre the Giant
aMERCIAN brutal death metallers VULNIFICUS are back with another EP this year, following on from their ‘Inexplicable’ compilation from last year. Keeping the ‘I’ theme going, (reminds me of German death thrashers Dew-Scented, I wonder whatever happened to them?), their newest EP is called ‘Inextricable’. It is due out in November and brings to mind the finest of NYDM brutality.
Opener ‘Intrinsic Inclination’ is a monstrous, gurgling rampage. A very bass-prominent assault, the guitar work is technical but much is hidden behind an impressively thick production sound. It really ramps up that murky ugliness that the band have traded well in in the past. ‘The Internecine Incarnation’ is utterly relentless in its execution, massive chugging riffs dominating the speakers while vocalist Eston Browne growls like an uncaged abyssal beast. The EP finishes with an instrumental version of the opener which really gives you the opportunity to appreciate that musicianship. There’s also less of the more industrial/blackened ambient effects that previous work has featured, which is an interesting direction.
It is another blast of brutality from VULNIFICUS, whose work is always a pleasure to listen to. They really have taken the spirit of the NYDM scene death metal heritage to heart and are focused on keeping that legacy going. Hopefully we can get a full length release from them in the near future, because I have a feeling it would be even better than ‘Inextricable’. thoseonceloyal
Release Date: November 3, 2023

Location: United States
VULNIFICUS was formed in October 2021 with the idea of bringing death metal back to its early sounding roots.
VULNIFICUS pushed death metal back to its extreme limits with their debut "INNOMINATION", released November 26, 2021. Drawing comparisons to old Cannibal Corpse, Condemned, Defeated Sanity, Mortician and others, VULNIFICUS signed a deal with New Standard Elite and shortly released their debut single "Induced Rampage".
VULNIFICUS began to record the follow up to their debut EP in December 2021, titled "INVOCATION". "INVOCATION" which released June 10, 2022 to an overwhelming response from fans and put the brutal death community on notice with the release of their singles "Coerced Into Compliance" and "The Incredulous Invocation"
Unfortunately, the first tour in the band's history could not be completed as Wilson decided to leave the band. Shortly after, left as the sole member of VULNIFICUS, Eston recruits Jamison Parker (Prophecy of Suffering), Mike Jones on bass and Evan Daniele (Dead and Dripping) on guitar. Together with the completed lineup, VULNIFICUS prepares to debut this group for their next offering on New Standard Elite.

RICH KID EXPRESS - "Under The Purple Lights" (EP) - Reviewed By Metal Digest ! Check it out here

Sometimes just one little petty thing can put you off a band and I won’t lie… it was the use of dollar signs as s’, who do you think you are? Gene $immon$?! This is how I felt when Rich Kid Express delivered ‘Under the Purple Lights’, their first EP since their 2020 debut album.
Once I got over my prejudices, I realised that ‘Under the Purple Lights’ is an excellent EP. This is one of those releases which is fully modern but manages to pull on the nostalgic heartstrings of the 70’s and 80’s with its beautiful underlying synths through each track. Furthermore, this EP is wonderfully produced and allows the great riffs within to really shine. In fact, you wouldn’t think this was a new band because Rich Kid Express shows all the experience well beyond their years, you think that they’d been doing this for years. Alongside this, the vocals are really captivating, they have that proper gravelly raucous sleaze style and if you’re a fan of anything from Alice Cooper and Kiss through to Zodiac Mindwarp and Million Dollar Reload, then this is the band for you.
Seriously though, if you like classic sounding hard rock, melodic rock or sleaze then get into Rich Kid Express because it is good stuff, just you know, try not to get distracted by those dollar signs! Metal Digest
Release Date: September 15, 2023

With influences from the glam rock era of the seventies to the "Headbanger's Ball" era of the eighties, Rich Kid Express is not to be taken too seriously but has a knack for big hooks and riffs. Exploring the World of Online Live Dealer Casinos - @thebeast
In recent years, online gambling has taken the world by storm, offering players the convenience of playing their favorite casino games from the comfort of their own homes. While traditional online casinos have been around for quite some time, a relatively new and exciting addition to the world of online gambling is live dealer casinos. These innovative platforms provide players with an authentic and immersive casino experience, combining the convenience of online play with the excitement of a real-life casino.
What Are Live Dealer Casinos?
Live casinos are a relatively new concept in the world of online gambling, but they have quickly gained popularity among players looking for a more interactive and immersive gaming experience. Live gambling uses actual dealers who run the games in real-time, in contrast to traditional online gambling like you can find after the Quatro Casino login , which uses random number generators (RNGs). This means that players can see the agent, interact with them, and watch the action unfold in real-time through a video stream.
The Technology Behind Casinos
The technology behind gambling is truly impressive. These casino houses use high-definition cameras to stream the action from a specially designed studio or a real brick-and-mortar casino. The dealers are trained professionals who are not only knowledgeable about the games but also skilled in interacting with gamers in a friendly and engaging manner.
To enhance the gaming experience, gaming also features a real-time chat function that allows players to communicate with the dealer and other gamers at the table. This adds a social element to the games, making them feel more like the experience of playing in a physical casino.
Popular Games
Live dealer gambling offers a wide range of popular casino games that you would find in a traditional casino. Some of the most common games include:
Blackjack: In live blackjack, players can interact with the dealer and other players while trying to beat the dealer's hand without exceeding 21.
Roulette: Live roulette allows players to place bets on the outcome of a spinning wheel, with a dealer managing the game.
Baccarat: Baccarat is a popular card game, and in the live dealer version, players can enjoy the thrill of watching the cards being dealt by a real dealer.Live Baccarat: Baccarat is a well-liked card game, and in the live dealer version, players can experience the thrill of seeing a real dealer deal the cards.
Poker: Many gambling houses offer various poker variants, giving gamers the opportunity to test their skills against others.
Game Shows: Some dealers even feature game shows like "Dream Catcher" and "Monopoly Live," which add an extra layer of entertainment to the experience.
Advantages
There are several advantages to playing at gambling. Firstly, they offer a more authentic and immersive casino experience, bridging the gap between online and land-based gambling. The interaction with real dealers and other gamers creates a social aspect that traditional casinos cannot replicate.
Additionally, gaming provides a higher level of transparency and trust. Players can witness every action as it happens, eliminating any concerns about the fairness of the games. This transparency is crucial in the world of gaming, where trust is paramount.
Conclusion
Casinos have revolutionized the gambling industry by offering gamers a more immersive and interactive gaming experience. With the advancement of technology and the growing demand for authentic casino experiences, it's no surprise that casinos are becoming increasingly popular.
Whether you're a seasoned gambler or new to the world of casinos, exploring the world of online casinos can add a whole new dimension to your gaming enjoyment. So why not give it a try and see for yourself what makes these casinos so special?

Monica Marozzi was born on March 22, in Carpi (Modena, Italy) and took private singing lessons for about 15 years. During this period of time Monica learned the best techniques mandatory to learn the correct use of voice. A passionate music lover, her favorite music genres are metal and the subgenre of symphonic metal that distinguishes movie soundtracks, together with orchestral sounds. After various experiences all over Italy, in 2021 Monica took part in the production of a German album by writing a text which features her vocal performance, in fact she oversaw both its composition and vocal part. This is how they launched their project named Eterea. One of their pieces was produced in partnership with Giacomo Voli, who oversaw the song writing and musical composition and also joined the choir. Gabriele Boschi was the orchestral arranger. Beltfed Weapon - Darkened Demise EP - Featured & Interviewed By lelahelmetal! - @thebeast
Beltfed Weapon - Darkened Demise EP - Featured & Interviewed By lelahelmetal ! Check it out here at this link:
https://lelahelmetal.blogspot.com/2023/12/interview-beltfed-weapon.html
/>
Release Date: June 25th, 2023
FFO: Iced Earth, Morbid Angel, Exodus
Location: Seattle, WA
Featuring an all star cast of musicians:
Frank Hetzel (guitar, songwriter)
Jeff Loomis - ( Arch Enemy ) (lead guitar)
Kragen Lum ( Exodus / Heathen ) (lead guitar)
Tim Aymar ( Control Denied / Pharaoh ) (vocals)
Steve Tucker ( Morbid Angel ) (vocals)
J.D. DeServio ( Black Label Society ) (bass)
Jason Viebrooks ( Exhorder ) (bass)
Dagna Silesia (bass)
Bryan Newberry ( Into Eternity ) (drums)
After releasing their third EP, the highly acclaimed Raining Plague, in 2015, Seattle metal band Beltfed Weapon had a rough time locking down dedicated musicians. So, band founder and guitarist Frank Hetzel took matters into his own hands. Instead of wasting time auditioning new musicians, he wrote a batch of songs on his own and then recruited an all-star lineup to work with for the new EP, Darkened Demise.
A two-decade music business veteran, Hetzel has met and befriended some of the greatest artists from various subgenres of metal over the years. And once they heard the new Beltfed Weapon songs, members from bands as diverse as Morbid Angel, Exhorder, Into Eternity, Arch Enemy, Black Label Society, Testament, and Heathen were excited to help. Working with talented guest musicians wasn’t a completely novel concept for Hetzel, who played with Testament bassist Steve DiGiorgio, former Marduk drummer Fredrik Widigs, and Arch Enemy guitarist Jeff Loomis when he needed-some in-studio help for Raining Plague. But for Darkened Demise, Hetzel knew what he wanted from the start, and who he wanted to work with, and couldn’t be happier with the five new songs. “It’s definitely the best thing I’ve ever done,” he says.
The first Beltfed Weapon track in five years, “Headfirst Into Hell,” is a multidimensional assault that features clean vocals by Tim Aymar of Control Denied (the last band to include Death founder Chuck Schuldiner). The song is both rousing and roiling, rife with thrash riffs, double- bass drumming, and prog/power metal rhythms; Loomis and Heathen’s Kragen Lum added guitar solos.
Loomis also played on the piledriving “Accept Your Insanity,” which is rounded out by Black Label Society bassist J.D. DeServio, and Into Eternity drummer Bryan Newberry. The title track of the EP is an apocalyptic thrash-death number that features Morbid Angel’s Steve Tucker, whose feral growls contrast with Aymar’s more melodic singing (Tucker performs on two of the five songs and Aymar commands the other three).
Darkened Demise is both skull-crushing and musically diverse. More than that, it’s a labor of love – a project Hetzel pursued by himself with a bunch of friends and guests he invited along for the ride.
“It has been a long process, but it has been very therapeutic and rewarding,” he concludes. “To have all these people on it that I’ve been listening to for decades is incredible. If we sell records, great, but I feel great just knowing how it all came together and how well it came out.”

I Colori del Buio - Weird Tales - Reviewed By bringerofdeathzine ! Check it out here
http://bringerofdeathzine.blogspot.com/
/>
I Coliri del Buio are a band from Italy that plays a mixture of black, doom and gothic metal and this is a review of their self released 2023 ep "Weird Tales".
Dark soundscapes and whispered vocals start off the ep before going into a heavier direction while the keyboards bring in elements of gothic metal. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very melodic style along with the vocals bringing in a mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls.
All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody. Clear vocals can also be heard at times along with the music also being very heavily rooted in the 90's era, when t he music speeds up a small amount of blast beats can also be heard and most of the recording also sticks to a slower direction.
I Coliri del Buio plays a musical style that goes back to the 90's era of black, gothic, doom and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover horror themes.
In my opinion I Coliri del Buio are a very great sounding mixture of black, gothic, doom and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Burn Your Witch". 8 out of 10. - bringerofdeathzine

DEICIDE Unleashes Ferocious New Track "Bury The Cross...With Your Christ" in a Blasphemous Christmas Gift to Fans - @thebeast
In a defiant move that shatters the tranquility of the festive season, Death Metal legends Deicide have unleashed a savage new song and video, "Bury The Cross...With Your Christ". This audacious release is a testament to their unyielding commitment to the genre, offering a brutal contrast to the traditional Christmas spirit.
“Welcome to the Feast of Fools and bow before your lord almighty the end is upon us….bury the cross,” remarks Glen Benton.
Watch "Bury The Cross...With Your Christ" here:
The track was forged in the depths of Smoke & Mirrors, with Deicide at the helm of production. Engineering wizardry was provided by Jeramie Kling, with Taylor Nordberg lending his skills. The final alchemy of mixing and mastering was conjured by Josh Wilbur.
The video was a collaborative masterpiece, directed by David Brodsky for My Good Eye: Music Visuals, who also took on the roles of cinematographer, editor, graphics, and post-production FX. Allison Woest, also from My Good Eye: Music Visuals, contributed as producer, assistant director, cinematographer, and editor. Kelly Harris brought the special effects makeup and practical FX to life. Gerard Barscheski portrayed the distraught father, adding a compelling human element to the project.
Embodying the essence of blasphemy, this latest offering stirs the cauldron of anticipation for their bone-crushing record, Banished By Sin, expected next year. This upcoming album is poised to reinforce Deicide's reign in the infernal realms of Death Metal.
Moreover, Deicide is set to headline the Decibel Metal and Beer Fest, promising a performance drenched in the sacrilegious echoes of their early '90s era. The band will perform a special set, resurrecting the demonic spirits of their landmark albums - Deicide, Legion, and Once Upon the Cross. This is a call to arms for fans to witness a historic ensemble of Florida's most ruthless Death Metal.
Cover Art by Nestor Avalos
About Deicide:
Originating from the depths of Tampa, Florida in 1987, Deicide was conjured by Steve Asheim and Glen Benton. Rising to infamy with their second album, Legion, they have since become a monolithic figure in the Death Metal universe. Their catalog of destruction includes twelve studio albums, a live album, two compilations, and two live DVDs. Notably, their first two albums, Deicide and Legion, stand as monumental achievements in Death Metal sales. Deicide, notorious for their relentless assault on the senses and unapologetic brutality, is on the verge of unleashing their thirteenth album – a testament to their undying legacy in crafting the most punishing soundscapes in Death Metal.

Jingle Bells Done by Six Feet Under? Here's What It Would Sound Like - @thebeast
In a quaint, charming town in the United States, a crowd is gathered before a stage, eagerly awaiting a concert by Six Feet Under , marketed as "Festive Death Metal."
The first familiar notes of "Jingle Bells" begin and the crowd relaxes. All of a sudden, Santa Barnes steps up to the microphone, grunting out "Merry motherfucking Christmas," and a guitar slide announces the grinding of a groove metal rhythm that fills the area.
Violently headbanging, Santa growls the lyrics of "Jingle Bells," closely followed by the downtuned guitars and a strong bass foundation. The concertgoers are shocked, and an old couple is currently being checked by an EMT.
This is what "Jingle Bells" in the Six Feet Under style sounds like. Otu of Moonic Productions has allowed us to reimagine the classic in the style of menacing Florida Death Metal. There's even a slower, chugging segment dedicated to Brutalf, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
While the lyrics don't fit the usual Chris Barnes fare, the tune is as groovy and heavy-sounding as it can be and would be a rightful contender against your neighbor's playing of "normal" holiday songs.
Enjoy the Holiday cheer with Santa Barnes below:

U.S. Senator Criticizes Allocation Of Covid-19 Relief Funds To SLIPKNOT, KORN, NICKELBACK, And Other Musicians - @thebeast
A U.S. Senator Rand Paul has criticized the allocation of millions of dollars in Covid-19 relief money to bands like SLIPKNOT , KORN , NICKELBACK , and more. This criticism raises concerns about the appropriateness of providing relief funds to rock bands during the pandemic.
In a recent report by Paul addressing the U.S. government’s spending grievances, he criticized the wasteful expenditures made by the government, including the grant program.
While the grants were meant to assist struggling venues and artists affected by the COVID-19 lockdowns, several renowned touring artists, such as SLIPKNOT, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, and NICKELBACK, also benefited from the program, receiving millions in taxpayer dollars.
Paul expressed his concerns about how the funds were utilized, noting that artists were not obligated to use the money to support their staff, and there is no transparency regarding how the funds were actually spent.
According to Paul, “so-called ‘small business owners,’ such as Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and SMASHING PUMPKINS, received up to $10 million each. Even NICKELBACK received $2 million.”
As per the report, SLIPKNOT received a substantial amount of $9.7 million through the grant. Additionally, their ‘Knotfest’ festival was granted $1,050,736. KORN was awarded $5.3 million, Melissa Etheridge received $3.9 million, Usher received $3.1 million, and Leann Rimes received $2 million. It is worth noting that several other recording artists were also recipients of the grant funds.
Paul‘s apprehensions regarding the grant arise from the financial aspect of how the money was utilized. He expressed his concerns stating that although some may argue that these funds were used to sustain the support staff, there was no obligation for artists to do so. As a result, there is no means of ascertaining how these unrestricted funds were ultimately utilized.

Plague Bearer - Summoning Apocalyptic Devastation - Makes Decibel Magazines Top Death Metal Albums 2023! - @thebeast
Plague Bearer - Summoning Apocalyptic Devastation - Makes Decibel Magazines Top Death Metal Albums 2023 ! Check it out here
https://www.decibelmagazine.com/2023/12/22/five-for-friday-death-metal-2023/
/>
Release Date: March 3rd, 2023
FFO: Drawn and Quartered, Imprecation, Thy Infernal
Location: Seattle, WA
Born on the wings of pestilence out of a thirty year slumber, Plague Bearer rides into our diseased world with a vision of "Summoning Apocalyptic Devastation." Primarily known as a primitive blackened Satanic brother to Seattle death metal legends Drawn and Quartered, Plague Bearer have produced a string of underground demos and EPs over the years but never committed to a definitive full length until now. Nameless Grave Records presents "Summoning Apocalyptic Devastation," a devastating triple pronged vocal assault supported by brutal melodic riffing and pummeling drums heralding the end of this pathetic existence. The purpose of the band? The master of sixty hundred sixty six riffs has but one word: "Evil."
Plague Bearer in its most primordial form created death metal demos in '93 and '94, but lineup changes resulted in a rebranding to Drawn and Quartered in '96. Nevertheless, guitarist K (Drawn and Quartered, Draghkar, Serpent Rider) was determined to keep the Satanic flame alive, slowly amassing simpler, eviler blackened riffs with partner H (Drawn and Quartered, ex-Vetus Obscurum) and putting out a demo in 2001 and EP in 2006 with Nuclear Winter Records (Dead Congregation). In 2017, K and H reunited with long-time ally T on drums, along with vocalist Nihilist (ex-Abazagorath, ex-Lord Gore, ex-Thy Infernal), to infect the Pacific Northwest with live rituals.
From the first second, the album explodes into a orgy of double bass and crawling tremolo riffs in celebration of "Unholy Black Satanic War Metal." Although there is a clear lineage to be traced from the earliest days of extreme metal in Plague Bearer's sound, the music has slowly drifted through time untouched by modern trends. The sinister melodies of "Defiled by Sodomy" throb and groove in a hypnotic hymn to Lucifer, punctuated by stuttering double kick and cymbal flourishes. There is an unmistakable youth and vigor driving the album, and album closer "Christbane" bets it all on the stomping Satanic energy of its Venom-esque main riff.
The production of the album is clear without being sterile, allowing every instrument to freely breath and speak. Guitars, bass, and vocals were self-engineered at K's home studio The Plague Pit, while drums were recorded with Jon Schluckebier at Radioactive Recordings. Mixing duties were handled by Andrew Lee (Ripped to Shreds) at The W. Dungeon, and it was mastered by Loic of Krucyator Prod.
While "Summoning Apocalyptic Devastation" is laden with the legacies of its storied members, it never loses its individuality. Existing beyond the stylistic trappings of death and black metal, Plague Bearer raises a middle finger to the modern scene. Evil is the only way!
