From 2019 the band consisted of Linus Hernvall and Stein-Odin Johannessen. The name change came to life after much consideration due to the new sound, new members with William Bergbacka in front with his unique voice in 2021. 2019 and 2020 became a dark time in the history of the group. Corona pandemic struck the globe, and the continuing struggle to find the right members started to slow the band down. At the mid of 2020, everything came to a holt. It wasn´t until the summer of 2021 when William Bergbacka came in for audition that everything changed. A short but effective two-hour online audition was all it took. With the first demo received only five hours later, they booked a work session to record and produce vocals for two of the eight songs on the new record. William Bergbacka came and delivered a masterpiece of a performance throughout the album. Sonata Di Morte has turned out better and more alive than they could ever have hoped for.  Shortly after Robin Lagerborg joined and tock up the duties on the rhythm guitar.  Sonata Di Morte will be the debut album for Die With Fear, but the 3rd full length album and the 4th release in the history of the band. The word is Latin for eagle and with this in mind, stepping out from their heavy metal aerie in Poland are Aquilla to deliver ‘Mankind’s Odyssey’, their debut album of full-on trad metal.                 With ‘Mankind’s Odyssey’, Aquilla take us on a sci-fi journey through intergalactic faster than light travel and instead of us ending up in 2741, the band go backwards to 1981 with an album which wouldn’t be out of place in Tyne & Wear. Therefore, ‘Mankind’s Odyssey’ is a warm sounding album, it has a familiar NWOBHM style sound as tracks such as ‘Pathfinder’, ‘The Awakening’ and ‘Arrival’ draw out the NWOBHM nerds looking for a fix of Tokyo Blade, Tygers of Pan Tang and Angel Witch whilst the metal vest wearing trad loving fans of Crystal Viper, Sabire, Enforcer and Cauldron suddenly put down their vinyl and take a wandering over to get a glimpse of Aquilla.                 In the trad metal world, there isn’t anything here that Aquilla do that hasn’t already been done before. However, Aquilla do this very well and when faced with an album of this nature, fans of heavy and trad metal invoke the message of Star Fleet: “to seek out new life and new civilization, to boldly go into the record shop and buy this album”. It was built from the ashes of a previous, garage thrash metal band, which also acted as a training ground for rehearsals, songwriting, playing live shows, and everything that a band has to master. The founding stone of Aquilla is the love for old-fashioned heavy and speed metal. "Our initial movement was heavily inspired by bands known under the banner of New Wave of British Heavy Metal and New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal with entries like Skull Fist, Enforcer, Riot, Randy , and Angel Witch among many others." Aquilla's main theme is a blend of science-fiction and 80s aesthetics. Every aspect from lyrics to stage performance is connected by our original lore inspired by both old-school and nowadays pictures such as 2001: Space Odyssey, Dune, Alien, Blade Runner or Interstellar . Despite some line-up changes, the band’s roster always lined up friends from the local metal community and in 2018 it established with Blash Raven on vocals, Chris Scanner on rhythm guitars, Kris Invader on lead guitars, Hippie Banzai on bass, and Pete Slammer on drums. Throughout the years of Aquilla’s existence, they played numerous gigs across Poland. Years of presence in the polish underground granted them opportunities to play as a supporting act for bands like Skull Fist, Striker, Manilla Road (on a warm-up show), and Crystal Viper . They were also to play with Gloryhammer, Cauldron and Sabire , but due to the coronavirus pandemic and other circumstances, those performances didn’t get to happen. Aquilla also got to be a part of the first edition of Helicon Metal Festival , which is one of the biggest underground heavy metal-oriented festivals in Poland. In 2019, they had their abroad debut on Trveheim Festival Vol. 4 , one of the most prominent festivals centered around NWOTHM and NWOBHM in Germany. There they had an opportunity to play alongside bands like Enforcer, Tokyo Blade, Glacier, Riot V, Stallion and many others. After the festival they were featured on its social media page as their personal highlight of the year. Shortly after that, the pandemic struck, and they were forced to stop playing gigs with some exceptions, like Heavy Rock Total ! Festival in 2021 in Leipzig. Thankfully, corona did not have only a negative side. Thanks to the world slowing down and additional free time, they were able to focus all of their work power on composing and recording Aquilla’s debut LP album — Mankind’s Odyssey , a first installment in their story-driven universe, which is to be further developed on future releases. Formed in liaison with drummer extraordinaire and perpetual bandmate Mark Zonder, WARLORD managed to rise to prominence amidst crushing competition right in the middle of the post-NWOBHM / US Heavy Metal explosion of the early 1980s. Among the main distinguishing factors that contributed to WARLORD’s elevated position in the pantheon of US Metal is the characteristic and classically trained guitar- and song-writing prowess of William J Tsamis. Like no other musician of the times, he had the ability to marry earth-shattering heaviness with melodic sensibility in the creation of larger-than-life compositions that, when draped in language and imagery related to the eternal battle between good and evil, reached unparalleled intensity and grandeur. In addition to his work with WARLORD, William J Tsamis also channeled his creativity into the lesser known, but equally potent and arguably more personal projects LORDIAN WINDS and LORDIAN GUARD. Of special notice are the two LORDIAN GUARD albums he released with his late wife Vidonne Sayre Riemenschneider on vocals, which despite material shortcomings come across as some of the most unique and brutally honest Heavy Metal records of the 1990s.  Although WARLORD never attained mass popularity on the magnitude of some other acts at the time, the continued impact of William J Tsamis’ works on Heavy Metal should not be underestimated. Like all great guitarist-composers, Tsamis developed his own mode of expression that is as instantly recognizable as it is difficult to pin down with words. Adhering to the European school of classically influenced electric guitar playing, he managed to combine the primeval force of Heavy Metal with a deep-trawling sense of majestic melancholy. Such a unique approach always wins out in the end, and the upcoming tribute album is a testament to the influential role William Tsamis’ music has played, and continues to play, on Heavy Metal musicians of all backgrounds and ages across the globe. Approved and endorsed by WARLORD’s management, “A Crack in the Sky” features brand new recordings of timeless classics, all exceptionally covered by 16 outstanding bands, young and old, hailing from different parts of the world. Thy Enemy is one of the first bands to form at "Not Whole Studios" (studio & venue), the original members were Ethan Hartley (vocals), Bronson Bateman (rhythm guitar), Alan Tydlacka (bass), and Gary Porter (drums). Soon after their first song "Crushing Weight" was written, James Rafferty (lead guitar), and Jordan Babcock (vocals) joined to help add more depth at guitar, and to create a dual vocalist band. Thy Enemy decided to name their first EP "Chapters" due to a couple member changes, along with some sound/style changes. After recording their first single "And Then it All Went Black", vocalist Ethan Hartley left due to personal reasons. New Promo: Thy Enemy (USA) - Unattainable - (Metal) - @thebeast

Release Date: Feb 27, 2022 FFO: Hatebreed, Despised Icon, Unearth Location: Harmony, ME Thy Enemy is a heavy metal band hailing from the woods of Harmony, Maine, that formed in the month of September 2018. Thy Enemy is one of the first bands to form at "Not Whole Studios" (studio & venue), the original members were Ethan Hartley (vocals), Bronson Bateman (rhythm guitar), Alan Tydlacka (bass), and Gary Porter (drums). Soon after their first song "Crushing Weight" was written, James Rafferty (lead guitar), and Jordan Babcock (vocals) joined to help add more depth at guitar, and to create a dual vocalist band. Thy Enemy decided to name their first EP "Chapters" due to a couple member changes, along with some sound/style changes. After recording their first single "And Then it All Went Black", vocalist Ethan Hartley left due to personal reasons. Soon after the "Chapters" EP was finished being recorded, lead guitarist James Rafferty left for personal reasons as well. Thy Enemy stared adversity in the eyes, and did not slow down, adding current vocalist Korey Brown and lead guitarist Jonathan Condon. Thy Enemy looks to redefine heavy metal, fusing thrash, hardcore, and deathcore influences. They were also to play with Gloryhammer, Cauldron and Sabire , but due to the coronavirus pandemic and other circumstances, those performances didn’t get to happen. Aquilla also got to be a part of the first edition of Helicon Metal Festival , which is one of the biggest underground heavy metal-oriented festivals in Poland. In 2019, they had their abroad debut on Trveheim Festival Vol. 4 , one of the most prominent festivals centered around NWOTHM and NWOBHM in Germany. There they had an opportunity to play alongside bands like Enforcer, Tokyo Blade, Glacier, Riot V, Stallion and many others. After the festival they were featured on its social media page as their personal highlight of the year. Shortly after that, the pandemic struck, and they were forced to stop playing gigs with some exceptions, like Heavy Rock Total ! Festival in 2021 in Leipzig. Thankfully, corona did not have only a negative side. Drawing inspiration from the lore of Dark Souls, there are many themes of comparing the light to the darkness and how there is a balance within us all.   “The Void”   is something we all face as human beings; it is the evil in the world that can us take over, such as temptation, violence, and suicide. The band details more about the EP: “We put a ton of energy and passion into producing this EP by ourselves, making this release an incredible feat for us as producer/musicians and as a couple. It’s amazing to look back on ourselves as teenagers who shared a love for metal, and now being extremely proud of the music we created together. As cliché as this may sound, we want people to love our music as much as we do. Taking on the process to self produce this EP was not an easy decision to make. Due to the overwhelming amount of knowledge a producer/engineer/mixer should know, we often doubted that we could ever achieve great production quality without going into a real studio. But we continued to work consistently, learning something about production day by day that eventually led to our decision to fully produce this EP. We want to continue to learn from this release and hone our skills as musicians and producers so our music can have better and better quality as time goes on.” The band hopes that people will connect to the emotion and sadness of the music, as well as enjoy the diversity of each song. "The album is mostly about government experiments, greed, and conspiracies', but also about sleep disorders because I have suffered from them since childhood and because of that it was an easy theme to write about."   says vocalist Marlee Ryley. “Silhouettes of Horror”   contains ten original songs and a cover of   ABBA 's classic hit   “Gimme Gimme Gimme” .
