FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Age of Fire Unleashes From the Forge Vinyl Edition for National Record Store Day – April 18, 2026
Charlottesville, VA – Heavy metal outfit Age of Fire is set to bring the heat once again with the vinyl release of their acclaimed album From the Forge , arriving April 18, 2026, in celebration of National Record Store Day.
Originally released in Fall 2024 to strong reviews across the metal underground and beyond, From the Forge delivers a relentless blend of classic heavy metal grit with a thrash and progressive edge. Now, fans and collectors alike can experience the album the way it was meant to be heard, pressed on vinyl and forged for the true believers of the genre.
Forged in 1988, Age of Fire carved out their own path in heavy metal with a sound rooted in intensity, atmosphere, and storytelling. Drawing inspiration from cataclysmic events, the darker corners of humanity, and the unknown, the band channels a sonic identity that hits somewhere between old-school aggression and progressive depth. After disbanding in 1991, the fire was reignited in 2018 by founding member Greg Brown, bringing new life to the project alongside Rick “Dynamic” Brown on bass and Bill “Rad” Morris on drums.
Since their return, Age of Fire has made serious noise, earning airplay across traditional radio, Roku TV platforms, and satellite stations worldwide. Their reach has extended into international media, with features in publications spanning the U.S., U.K., Europe, and beyond.
The band has also proven their power on stage, including a standout performance at the legendary Whisky a Go-Go on December 6, 2023, supporting Burning Witches on their world tour. Looking ahead, Age of Fire is set to open for Kings of Thrash on May 9, 2026, in Maryland, continuing their march forward with no signs of slowing down.
“The vinyl release of the band’s acclaimed album From the Forge drops for National Record Store Day, bringing the full experience to collectors and metal fans the way it was meant to be heard.”
With endorsements from Solar Guitars, Eastwood Guitars, Scorpion Drumsticks, In Tune Guitar Picks, and Dirtbag Clothing, Age of Fire stands as a band that respects the roots while pushing forward with purpose.

CONJURIST Unleash Debut Album I Am The Earth — A Primal Fusion of Atmosphere, Aggression, and Arcane Themes - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CONJURIST Unleash Debut Album I Am The Earth — A Primal Fusion of Atmosphere, Aggression, and Arcane Themes
Nashville, TN – Rising from the underground with a sound as immersive as it is unrelenting, atmospheric extreme metal project CONJURIST has officially released their debut full-length album, I Am The Earth , on Friday the 13th, March 2026.
Clocking in at just under 40 minutes across 10 tracks, I Am The Earth is a dense and dynamic sonic journey that blurs the lines between melodic death metal, post-black and blackgaze, doom, and hardcore. Written and recorded by Blake Bailey and brought to life through mixing and mastering by Robbie Bingham, the album delivers a carefully crafted balance of technical precision, raw intensity, and haunting atmosphere.
CONJURIST’s music dives deep beyond surface-level aggression, pulling listeners into a conceptual world steeped in mysticism, ancient history, mythology, and existential reflection. Themes of ritual, primal energy, and humanity’s connection to the Earth run throughout the record, giving it both a cerebral and visceral weight.
This vision extends into the band’s visual identity as well. The music video for the track “Solace for the Shaman” features members adorned in animal skull masks, evoking ritualistic imagery and a raw connection to something ancient and otherworldly. It’s not just music, it’s an experience rooted in symbolism and atmosphere.
Sonically, CONJURIST channels a wide range of influences while carving out something distinctly their own. Fans of bands like Gojira , Fallujah , Alcest , Meshuggah , Pallbearer , Converge , and Acid Bath will find familiar elements woven into the project’s expansive sound.
Early reactions are already highlighting the album’s unique identity. Mark’s Metal Minute praised the release, stating:
“This album is heavy, atmospheric, and weird in the best way. Musically it lives somewhere between blackened metal, doom, experimental, and extreme metal. The riffs seem ancient — slow, crushing sections suddenly explode into faster chaos. The theme leans hard into Earth, ritual, and ancient power. It feels primal.”
With I Am The Earth , CONJURIST doesn’t just introduce themselves, they make a statement. This is a band unafraid to push boundaries, blending genres and ideas into something that feels both timeless and forward-thinking.
The album is available now on all major streaming platforms.
For fans of: Atmospheric extremity, conceptual depth, and genre-defying metal that hits as hard as it haunts.

Crucial Velocity Returns with “Mortal Fallacy,” First in a Trilogy of New Singles - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Crucial Velocity Returns with “Mortal Fallacy,” First in a Trilogy of New Singles
Veteran hard rock/metal band Crucial Velocity is set to unleash their latest single, Mortal Fallacy , within the next four to six weeks via Golden Robot Records’ distribution platform, Robot Distro. Marking their first new music in over a year, the track also serves as the opening strike in a planned series of three singles set for release over the coming months.
Mortal Fallacy dives into the eternal search for something pure, only to uncover that the so-called “new messiah” is no better than the last. Frontman Androo O’Hearn delivers soaring, Queen-inspired layered vocals, while guitarist Michael Harris brings his signature virtuosity with a sharp prog edge. Behind the kit, Matt Thompson, fresh off touring with King Diamond, lays down the heaviest and most technical drum performance ever captured on a Crucial Velocity release.
“All music and lyrics are written by Nate Bauer,” the band states. “Musically, we’re picking up right where we left off after the Controller album. After two full-length releases, we’ve really locked in a sound that blends classic ’80s and ’90s metal with something modern. Heavy groove, strong melody, and a clear identity. This single is exactly what Crucial Velocity stands for.”
Fans of Queensrÿche, Black Sabbath, and Ghost will find plenty to latch onto, but Mortal Fallacy stands firmly on its own with layered harmonies, driving riffs, and a powerful, modern production.
Mortal Fallacy will be distributed digitally through Golden Robot Records and available on all major streaming platforms.

TAZER Unleashes Debut Album “Taze Is The Rule” — A High-Voltage Electro-Industrial Assault - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TAZER Unleashes Debut Album “Taze Is The Rule” — A High-Voltage Electro-Industrial Assault
Release Date: April 30, 2026
Genre: Electro-Industrial
For Fans Of: Combichrist , Rammstein , Rob Zombie
Label: Hellektrokution Records
Emerging from the shadows of Norway with a sound built to shock the system, TAZER is set to detonate the electro-industrial scene with their debut full-length album, “Taze Is The Rule” , arriving digitally on April 30, 2026 via Hellektrokution Records .
Cold, aggressive, and unapologetically intense, “Taze Is The Rule” delivers a crushing fusion of mechanical beats, searing riffs, and relentless energy. Spearheaded by the title track released March 9, the album stands as both a mission statement and a warning shot: this is discipline through sound, impact through voltage.
The album opens with “Your Sins Will Taze You Out,” deceptively pulling listeners into a moment of calm before unleashing a sonic assault that sets the tone for what follows. From there, the title track “Taze Is The Rule” establishes the band’s manifesto: direct, punishing, and absolute.
Tracks like “You Stabbed (Until He Was Dead)” explore the darker edges of human nature, weaving narratives of violence and consequence, while “Tazer Erazer” pushes toward transformation, wiping the slate clean with razor-sharp industrial force. “Raise the Voltage” cranks the intensity to dangerous levels, urging listeners to live at full throttle, while “Rest in Beatz” injects groove into the chaos without losing its crushing backbone.
“The Tazer Way” and “Taze Your God” double down on the band’s uncompromising ethos, rejecting authority and redefining belief systems under the TAZER doctrine. Closing tracks “Taze Like Me” and “Hellektroshot” drag listeners deeper into the experience, ending the album on a hypnotic, almost addictive high that lingers long after the final note.
Formed in 2024, TAZER has quickly carved out a distinct identity within the electro-industrial underground. Their debut single, “A Razor Can Slit, A Tazer Can Kill,” introduced audiences to their brutal, precision-driven sound. This was followed by their self-released EP “9001 Volts” , which expanded their reach and showcased their ability to blend electronic aggression with metal intensity.
Their breakout single “Striptazers” continues to gain momentum across streaming platforms, pulling in new listeners and building anticipation for this debut album.
TAZER’s lineup consists of:
Calico InHell – guitar & programming
Drumnibal – drums & vocals
Oni X01 – vocals & programming
Driven by a strict philosophy of impact, tension, and execution, TAZER isn’t just making music, they’re building a movement. And with “Taze Is The Rule” , that movement hits critical mass.

DEFEATED SANITY Vocalist JOSH WELSHMAN Talks New Music, U.S. Tour, And Death Metal’s Resurgence Defeated Sanity - @thebeast
DEFEATED SANITY Vocalist JOSH WELSHMAN Talks New Music, U.S. Tour, And Death Metal’s Resurgence
Defeated Sanity vocalist Josh Welshman recently spoke with Metal Devastation Radio’s Zach Moonshine for an in-depth interview covering the band’s latest activity, upcoming U.S. tour, and the current state of the death metal scene.
The conversation took place shortly after the band returned from a run of European festival appearances.
“We actually just came home,” Welshman said. “We were over in Europe for a week or so. We played a festival in Zurich two weeks ago, and then this past weekend we played Heidelberg Deathfest in Germany… it was great to be back over in Europe, especially as a primer for this U.S. run we have coming up.”
He added that the shows helped the band get back into performance mode following a break from touring.
“It was nice to kind of shake the cobwebs out a little bit before we hit the ground running on this U.S. tour.”
Regarding the band’s upcoming North American trek, Welshman clarified that while Defeated Sanity has headlined before, this marks their first U.S. headlining run in several years.
“It’s our first headlining tour in a few years in the U.S.,” he said. “We’re hoping the amount that we’re hyped for it is reflected in the audience every night.”
NEW MUSIC IN THE WORKS
Welshman also confirmed that new material is currently being developed, though he suggested it may surprise some fans.
“New music is on the way,” he revealed. “It might not be what people are particularly expecting… it’s material that Defeated Sanity has explored one time before about ten years ago.”
He continued: “Real fans will know what I’m talking about when I say it’s not like the brutal stuff. It’s something else. But we’ll also be doing the brutal stuff after that is complete.”
Despite the stylistic shift, Welshman emphasized that evolution has always been part of the band’s identity.
“Every album evolves a little bit in its own way. We stay true to the brutality, but every album does something a little different.”
SUCCESS WITH SEASON OF MIST
Defeated Sanity’s most recent album, Chronicles Of Lunacy , has seen increased visibility since the band joined Season of Mist .
“It’s been great,” Welshman said of the partnership. “The step up in PR has been great for us. Chronicles Of Lunacy has been a great success… our listeners have gone up, our PR has been better, and even the shows feel like the turnouts have been better.”
“I have nothing bad to say,” he added. “I’m very happy to be part of the Season Of Mist roster.”
FROM FAN TO FRONTMAN
Welshman, who has now spent over a decade with the band, reflected on his journey from fan to member.
“Defeated Sanity was one of my favorite bands,” he said. “To this day, it’s still very surreal to be in the band and to have contributed what I’ve contributed.”
He also spoke about performing older material he once listened to as a fan.
“It’s a very surreal experience to play songs that you were so familiar with as a listener… it hits different.”
Welshman noted that he is now the longest-serving vocalist in the band’s history.
“At this point, I’m the longest-standing vocalist… and I think technically been on the most releases. It’s nice to have that feeling after so many years, because imposter syndrome is totally a thing.”
MUSICAL ROOTS
Discussing his early influences, Welshman cited an entry point that may be familiar to many fans of his generation.
“Korn was one of the first metal bands I ever heard… Slipknot too,” he said. “That kind of got me into the sound of extreme music.”
However, his introduction to death metal came shortly after.
“The first death metal album I ever got was Cannibal Corpse’s Live Cannibalism . I saw the cover and thought, ‘This is insane.’ I was hooked.”
From there, he discovered bands such as Dying Fetus, Nile, and Disgorge.
DEATH METAL IS “GOING THROUGH A BOOM”
Welshman also weighed in on the current state of the genre, noting a noticeable increase in interest, particularly among younger fans.
“I feel like death metal is going through a boom at the moment,” he said. “The attendance at shows is going up, and a lot of younger kids are coming out.”
He attributed part of that resurgence to the post-pandemic live music landscape.
“After things bounced back, it felt like a lot of people discovered death metal while they were locked up… and now people are very hungry for live music.”
“The community has always been strong,” he added, “and I think it always will be.”
TOUR AND FESTIVAL PLANS
Looking ahead, Defeated Sanity will embark on a month-long U.S. tour beginning April 16 and running through May 16, covering much of the country.
“We’re literally on tour the entire month,” Welshman said. “So I just encourage anybody to come check out the shows… especially if you haven’t seen us before.”
In addition, the band is scheduled to appear at Hellfest in June.
“We’ve never played Hellfest before,” he noted. “So we’re all super excited—not just to play, but to watch all the bands too. It’s going to be like kids in a candy shop.”
As for what fans can expect next, Welshman kept it simple.
“New music is coming, the tour is coming… and we’re just excited to get back out there and see what’s on the horizon.”

Pennsylvania thrash metal force Cruel Bomb continues their upward trajectory with a major spotlight moment, earning a strong recommendation on Banger TV’s Overkill Reviews during their coverage of Hellripper’s Coronach . The feature places the band alongside elite company and further solidifies their growing reputation in the global metal scene.
This recognition comes on the heels of the band’s crushing self-titled full-length album, released August 15, 2025. A relentless barrage of razor-sharp riffs, punishing rhythms, and aggressive vocals, Cruel Bomb delivers a modern thrash assault rooted in the genre’s golden era while pushing forward with undeniable intensity.
Formed in 2018, Cruel Bomb has built their name the old-school way—through grit, sweat, and a no-compromise DIY ethic. Following a string of hard-hitting EPs ( Manhattan Mischief (2019), Trinity Terror (2020), and Man Made (2022)), the band’s debut full-length marks a defining moment in their evolution.
Recorded at Novro Studios, the album captures the raw energy and precision that fans have come to expect. Drawing influence from legends like Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica, and Exodus, while channeling the modern aggression of Power Trip and Hatebreed, Cruel Bomb hits with both nostalgia and fresh urgency.
The album’s visual punch is delivered by legendary artist Ed Repka, whose iconic work with Megadeth, Death, and Municipal Waste adds another layer of credibility and impact to the release.
Known for their ferocious live performances, Cruel Bomb has already shared stages with some of the scene’s heaviest hitters, building a reputation as one of the East Coast’s most punishing acts. With continued recognition from platforms like Banger TV, the band is proving they’re not just part of the underground—they’re leading the charge.
One thing’s clear: this bomb isn’t just dropping—it’s detonating worldwide.

Poland – Odium Records proudly announces the seventh full-length from cult Polish black/death metal veterans Hell-Born , simply titled “VII” . Featuring seven tracks of blistering blackened death metal, the album combines the raw aggression Hell-Born is known for with haunting melodic undertones that have defined their sound throughout the years. Recording, mixing, and mastering took place at Creme de la Creme Studio , ensuring a sonic experience that’s as dense and foreboding as the band’s vision.
The album will be available in multiple collector-ready formats:
11-panel digipak shaped like an inverted cross
Gatefold heavy vinyl
Limited edition wooden box
In conjunction with this new release, Hell-Born will also re-issue their cult mini album “Hell-Born” from 1996, celebrating its 30th anniversary. This first-ever vinyl and CD edition features new mastering and a treasure trove of previously unseen archival photos, honoring the legacy of a record that laid the groundwork for the band’s dark journey.

ROTTING EMPIRE Unleash Re-Recorded Classic “Images Of War” – New Single & Video Out March 29, 2026 - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ROTTING EMPIRE Unleash Re-Recorded Classic “Images Of War” – New Single & Video Out March 29, 2026
Ingolstadt, Germany – After a quarter-century of relentless riff warfare, German death metal veterans Rotting Empire return with a crushing new chapter in their legacy. The band will release their re-recorded single and official music video, “Images Of War,” on March 29, 2026 , delivering a modernized, bone-crushing take on the track that started it all.
Originally released as part of their 2006 demo, “Images Of War” has been resurrected and reforged for 2026 with devastating clarity and power. The new version captures the raw spirit of the early days while hitting harder than ever thanks to updated production and the band’s decades of experience sharpening their sound.
For 25 years, Rotting Empire have stood as a cornerstone of the German underground, carving out a reputation for blending classic European death metal with groove-laden brutality. Their sound sits firmly in the lineage of bands like Illdisposed, Bolt Thrower, Evocation, and Unleashed, while also channeling the weight and grit of Florida death metal.
Since forming in 2000 near Ingolstadt, the band has played over 100 shows and shared stages with heavyweights including Kataklysm, Crowbar, Asphyx, Grave, Vader, Six Feet Under, Fleshcrawl, and Vomitory. From festival appearances at Braincrusher Festival and Mammut Festival to club-level destruction, Rotting Empire have proven their staying power the old-school way: by getting on stage and leveling rooms.
Their discography includes the debut full-length Sui Generis (2012) and Buried In The Past (2022), both released via Rebirth The Metal Productions. Now, the band comes full circle by revisiting their origins with a re-recorded version of their very first release.
“Rotting Empire celebrated its 25-year band anniversary in 2025. Brand-new in 2026, we will release the re-recording of our debut release. The official music video and single mark the beginning, with the full album to follow later this year.”
The upcoming full-length album, also titled Images Of War , is scheduled for release on October 4, 2026 , continuing the band’s legacy of unfiltered, war-driven death metal.
The new single was mixed and mastered by Tobias Schill, delivering a massive, modern sound while staying true to the band’s old-school roots.

PATRIARCHS IN BLACK Unleash Epic BLACK SABBATH Cover “Supertzar,” Featured on BraveWords - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PATRIARCHS IN BLACK Unleash Epic BLACK SABBATH Cover “Supertzar,” Featured on BraveWords
Heavy metal powerhouse Patriarchs In Black are making serious noise once again with their latest release, a bold and crushing cover of Black Sabbath ’s deep cut “Supertzar,” now featured on leading metal outlet BraveWords .
Known for doing things their own way, Patriarchs In Black didn’t go for the obvious hit. Instead, they dug deep into Sabbath’s catalog and resurrected one of its most ambitious and overlooked compositions. The result is nothing short of massive. “Supertzar” delivers thunderous riffs, cinematic atmosphere, and a unique twist with haunting female vocals from Sarah Sovak, elevating the track into something both familiar and entirely new.
The lineup behind the track reads like a who’s who of heavy music. Drums are handled by Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig, Quiet Riot), guitars by Dan Lorenzo (Hades, Non-Fiction), and keys by former Pale Horse Named Death member Eric J. Morgan. In a true stamp of approval moment, original Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward personally checked out the track and gave it his blessing.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the cover, Lorenzo explains:
“When I revisited ‘Supertzar,’ I fell in love with it all over again. Sarah Sovak and Eric J. Morgan really helped us bring the song to life.”
“Supertzar” appears on the band’s latest release, Completely Covered In Black , out now via No Life Til Metal Records . The album showcases Patriarchs In Black’s love for classic heavy music, featuring powerful interpretations of artists like KISS, Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, Twisted Sister, and more, alongside standout guest performances from across the metal spectrum.
Formed in late 2021, Patriarchs In Black has quickly built a reputation for relentless creativity and collaboration, releasing multiple albums in rapid succession, each featuring a rotating cast of vocalists and bassists. Their ability to reimagine classic material while maintaining a heavy, modern edge sets them apart in today’s metal landscape.
With Completely Covered In Black , the band proves once again that honoring the past doesn’t mean playing it safe.
Stream “Supertzar” now and experience one of the boldest Black Sabbath covers in recent memory.

AGAINST I Confront Critical Divide With “Anti Life” – Sweden Rock Magazine Review Sparks Conversation Around Blackened Death Metal’s Modern Landscape - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AGAINST I Confront Critical Divide With “Anti Life” – Sweden Rock Magazine Review Sparks Conversation Around Blackened Death Metal’s Modern Landscape
Sweden’s relentless blackened death metal force AGAINST I continues to command attention with their latest full-length release “Anti Life,” out now via Twisted Flesh Recordings — a record that’s already stirring debate within the extreme metal underground following a newly published review in Sweden Rock Magazine .
Penned by critic Jesper Löfvenborg, the review recognizes the band’s staggering output since forming in 2022, noting that AGAINST I have already delivered three full-length albums alongside four EPs in just a few short years — a pace more reminiscent of a bygone era when bands lived in the studio and let the riffs fly fast and often.
Described as a “modern, melody-driven death metal with a pronounced darkness,” “Anti Life” showcases the band’s signature fusion of bleak atmosphere and aggressive precision. Frontman Fredrik Keith Croona’s distinct vocal delivery — strained, intense, and emotionally charged — drives the album’s nihilistic themes, reinforced by track titles like “In Death’s Grip,” “Descend,” “Where We Lay to Rest,” and “Symphony for the End.”
While the review highlights the album’s strong melodic backbone and shadowy tonal identity, it also places “Anti Life” within the crowded realm of blackened death metal, ultimately awarding the release a 5/10 rating and pointing to the challenges bands face in standing out within an increasingly saturated global scene.
Rather than a setback, the critique underscores a larger conversation — one that AGAINST I stands firmly in the middle of. In a genre overflowing with imitators, the band’s unwavering commitment to productivity, evolution, and sonic exploration continues to separate them from the pack.
Founded by prolific musician Fredrik Keith Croona (Cynical Existence, ex-Menschdefekt), alongside guitarist Mathias Back and drummer Anders Ström, AGAINST I has built its identity on blending extreme metal brutality with haunting melodic elements and subtle electronic textures. With previous releases like “Carnival of Excess” and “Songs for the Dying,” the band has steadily carved out a space that refuses to play it safe.
Their 2025 single “All Hope Is Gone” further pushed that boundary — a cold, punishing track that hinted at the darker and more refined direction realized in “Anti Life.” Self-produced and driven by a fiercely independent ethos, AGAINST I continues to operate without compromise, delivering raw and unfiltered darkness straight to listeners worldwide.
In a scene where many fade into the noise, AGAINST I is choosing a different route: consistency, conviction, and a refusal to slow down.
Love it or hate it — “Anti Life” is making sure the band stays in the conversation.

Rhinderpest Announces Self-Titled Debut Album Out Now – A Haunting Descent Into Blackened Death Metal - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rhinderpest Announces Self-Titled Debut Album Out Now – A Haunting Descent Into Blackened Death Metal
Release Date: March 13, 2026
Genre: Black Metal, Death Metal
FFO: Mortuary Drape, Varathron, Morbid Angel
Label: Apophenion Records
From the shadowy corners of the Pacific Northwest emerges Rhinderpest , a band steeped in the spirit of classic ‘90s extremity, now unleashing their long-awaited self-titled debut album , out now via Apophenion Records.
Blending the savage force of death metal with the eerie, ritualistic atmosphere of black metal, Rhinderpest is more than just a record, it’s an experience. Drawing from the raw, unfiltered energy of genre pioneers while injecting their own theatrical edge, the band crafts a sound that feels both ancient and immediate, like something unearthed rather than created.
Since 2021, Rhinderpest have been carving out a name across the Pacific Northwest with intense, theatrical live performances that blur the line between ritual and chaos. That same energy seeps into every track of this release, capturing a sense of unease, decay, and fleeting existence.
“The inspiration for this album came from visits to strange, forgotten places: crypts, lost mines, abandoned cemeteries, desolate mountain passes. The conclusion we drew from those visits is absurdity; where there is now an apparition passing by, soon it will no longer be. Was it ever real at all?”
That philosophy bleeds into the album’s core, a meditation on impermanence, illusion, and the thin veil between presence and absence. The result is a record that doesn’t just hit hard, it lingers.
The album was mixed by Rich Canut and mastered by Adam Pike , giving it a crushing yet organic sound that stays true to the grit and atmosphere of the underground while still delivering modern sonic weight.
With their self-titled debut now unleashed, Rhinderpest stand ready to stake their claim among the new wave of extreme metal bands honoring the old ways while forging something darker.

“ This is pure horror metal that fuels its eerie and thematically haunting tracks with just enough melody ,” writes AVL from Rue Morgue, capturing the band’s signature blend of southern-fried doom, horror punk theatrics, and melodic menace.
Frontman Jason Virus delivers his iconic low, ghoul-like vocals while the band’s riffs channel influences from Danzig, Black Sabbath, and early ’90s alt-metal. With over three decades in the scene, SUGAR VIRUS continues to evolve their dark, cinematic sound with each release.
The current lineup:
Jason Virus – Vocals
Spenser Lewis – Guitar
The Timmy Vancura – Guitar
Joshua Jackson – Bass
Tyler Mathis – Drums
Kill the Messenger is a 100% DIY creation, written, produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Jason Virus, marking the band’s heaviest and most atmospheric chapter yet. Fans can also catch their latest video, “His Name is Father,” showcasing the album’s eerie, southern-infused horror metal.

Patriarchs in Black Release Bold New Single “Supertzar” – A Powerful Reimagining of a Black Sabbath Deep Cut - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Patriarchs in Black Release Bold New Single “Supertzar” – A Powerful Reimagining of a Black Sabbath Deep Cut
NoLifeTilMetal Records continues its strong run in 2026 as Patriarchs in Black unveil their latest single, “Supertzar,” a daring and atmospheric reinterpretation of one of Black Sabbath ’s most ambitious and underappreciated compositions.
Fans can listen to the track here:
While many bands lean on the obvious classics, Patriarchs in Black take a different path. “Supertzar” is a deep cut that few would attempt, delivering a nearly rock opera–like experience. The track blends crushing guitars and thunderous drums with haunting, angelic female vocals from Sarah Sovak, creating a massive and cinematic soundscape.
The lineup on this release is nothing short of heavy music pedigree. Johnny Kelly ( Type O Negative ) delivers his signature powerhouse drumming, while Dan Lorenzo ( Hades ) drives the track with crushing riffs. Former Pale Horse Named Death member Eric J. Morgan adds depth and atmosphere on keys, helping elevate the song into something truly epic.
Adding to the track’s credibility, original Bill Ward himself gave his stamp of approval after hearing the rendition.
Dan Lorenzo shares insight into the inspiration behind the track:
"When I wrote the song 'Where You Think You're Going' off the 'Home' album with DMC, Johnny Kelly and I were talking about other hard rock songs that utilized female vocals. Johnny mentioned 'Supertzar'. I hadn't listened to that track in years and when I reexamined it I fell in love with it. Sarah Sovak and Eric J. Morgan really helped us bring the song to life."
With “Supertzar,” Patriarchs in Black prove once again they’re not here to play it safe. They’re digging deep, taking risks, and delivering something that feels both classic and completely fresh.

The Wait Is Over: W’t’M Brings Modern Metal Fire on April 10th - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Wait Is Over: W’t’M Brings Modern Metal Fire on April 10th
Italian-Danish modern metal project W’t’M returns with their newest single, a potent blend of melodic intensity, hard-hitting riffs, and soaring vocals that fans of Halestorm, Within Temptation, Pretty Maids, and Deep Purple will immediately connect with.
Formed in 2022 as a remote collaboration between Italian singer Marica Moire and Danish musicians led by bassist Ole Quist, W’t’M has quickly evolved from an online experiment into a fully realized modern metal force. The addition of Michael Bastholm Dahl (ex-Artillery) in 2023 brought dynamic vocal duets and a commanding stage presence, defining the band’s signature sound: a seamless fusion of atmospheric melodies and explosive rock energy.
Following their 2025 debut album Witness the Madness and a series of high-profile European festival appearances—including Nordic Noise Festival, Copenhell Pre-Event, and Death Island Festival—W’t’M has continued to grow their international presence with live performances across Poland. The band’s relentless dedication to melodic intensity and high-energy performance culminates in this new single, produced at Hop House Studio by Andreas Linnemann and released via Popshit Records.
Ole Quist , the band’s bassist and primary creative force, shares:
"This single captures everything W’t’M is about—powerful melodies, emotional depth, and pure metal energy. We can’t wait for fans old and new to hear it."

VAJRA WALKED THROUGH THE RUINS OF POMPEII. WHAT THEY BROUGHT BACK WILL STOP YOU COLD. - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VAJRA WALKED THROUGH THE RUINS OF POMPEII. WHAT THEY BROUGHT BACK WILL STOP YOU COLD.
“SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN (POMPEII REIMAGINING)” — OUT NOW
New York, NY — Progressive metal/art rock band Vajra has released their haunting reinterpretation of Pink Floyd’s “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun,” available now on all major platforms. Arriving as a Pompeii Reimagining , the track stands as something rare: a piece of music that earns the weight it carries.
This is not a cover. It’s a continuation.
Originally sparked by the practical need to extend a live set, the song evolved into something far more immersive. Inspired by the stark, elemental atmosphere of Live at Pompeii , Vajra spent years living inside the composition before recording it. Replicating it would have been easy. That was never the goal.
“The song feels alive… like a portal. It asked something of us. We realized that to carry it forward, we had to enter its heat.”
Pilgrimage
Vocalist Annamaria Pinna and guitarist Dave Sussman traveled to Pompeii and Herculaneum, walking the same streets, standing in the amphitheater where the original performance was filmed. They studied Pliny the Younger’s firsthand account alongside archaeological and volcanological records of the eruption’s final hours.
“My family is from that region. Maybe they were there, or knew of it when it happened. I don’t know. But I feel that story in my cells. If we were going to reinterpret this song, we had to honor the people of Pompeii as fully and honestly as we could.”
The Music Video
The accompanying video was written, shot, edited, and produced entirely by Pinna and Sussman. Blending original footage captured in Pompeii and Herculaneum with AI-assisted visuals, it reconstructs the city’s final 24 hours through a first-person lens. What begins as an ordinary day quickly turns catastrophic.
It doesn’t just tell the story. It puts you inside it.
Echoes Through Time
More than five decades after its creation, the original composition still resonates. Vajra expands its architecture into something heavier, slower, and more cinematic. Pinna’s ethereal vocals drift through the mix like smoke through stone, while the hypnotic pulse remains intact.
The ritual is still there. The tension builds differently. The silence at the end lingers longer.
“We feel that the song is sacred, and it is still echoing. So are the images. There’s something unfinished in it. Something still moving.”
Why This Song. Why Now.
Pompeii didn’t fade away. It vanished in less than a day. An ordinary morning turned into total destruction with no warning.
That idea doesn’t feel distant anymore.
“There are forces that can reroute our lives overnight. What feels stable can shift instantly. Our time here is brief. That awareness changes everything, including how you create.”
Released on the Spring Equinox, a moment of balance between darkness and light, this reimagining stands as both remembrance and a wake-up call.
The song is out now. The video is out now.
Listen. Watch. Then sit with it.

Annamaria Pinna — Vocals

GODLESS Unleash “Architect of Torment” – New Single Marks 10 Years of Relentless Death Metal - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GODLESS Unleash “Architect of Torment” – New Single Marks 10 Years of Relentless Death Metal
Indian extreme metal powerhouse GODLESS are set to release their blistering new single, Architect of Torment , on May 1, 2026 . Celebrating a decade of uncompromising death metal, the band follows a trajectory that has taken them from India’s underground to international stages, including Wacken Open Air , Obscene Extreme Festival , and SWR Barroselas Metalfest .
Formed in 2015, GODLESS have built a reputation on thrash-infused, aggressive death metal that refuses to compromise. From their debut EP Centuries of Decadence (2016) to their acclaimed full-length States of Chaos (2021), the Hyderabad quartet have consistently pushed boundaries, earning attention from Rolling Stone India , Metal Injection , and Invisible Oranges , while topping Bandcamp’s global thrash and death metal charts.
Architect of Torment sees GODLESS expanding their sound while retaining their signature intensity. “The track balances crushing riffs, tight grooves, and guttural vocals with a more melancholic and atmospheric dimension,” says the band. “Moving between relentless heaviness and eerie restraint, it explores institutionalized dehumanization, following a man trapped in a system where he becomes both victim and architect of the suffering around him.”
The single was produced by GODLESS and mixed & mastered at Rorysound Studio in Sweden by Lawrence Mackrory , delivering a sonic experience that blends aggression with immersive depth.
Fans of early-Decapitated, Morbid Angel, and Misery Index will find Architect of Torment a powerful statement of GODLESS’ evolving sound—a perfect introduction for new listeners and a testament to their decade-long reign over India’s extreme metal scene.
The single drops May 1, 2026 , ahead of an India tour and a massive 30-city European headline run, including the legendary Obscene Extreme Festival .

Nocturnal Ceremony Unleashes “Seasons of Hate” Official Video, Cementing Their Return to Extreme Metal Dominance - @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nocturnal Ceremony Unleashes “Seasons of Hate” Official Video, Cementing Their Return to Extreme Metal Dominance
Independent modern death metal titans Nocturnal Ceremony continue their triumphant resurgence with the release of the official video for “ Seasons of Hate ,” a standout track from their debut album Obsidian (March 4, 2026). Following glowing international reviews from publications like Heavy Metal Philosophy and Deadly Storm Zine , the new visual accompaniment further showcases the band’s mastery of haunting atmosphere, crushing riffs, and blackened death metal intensity.
The “Seasons of Hate” video plunges viewers into a ritualistic, shadow-drenched world where ancient passions collide with modern brutality. True to the album’s tone, the visuals mirror the music’s eerie depth—fog-laden landscapes, spectral imagery, and visceral intensity combine to create an immersive experience that pulls fans deep into Nocturnal Ceremony’s dark universe.
Deadly Storm Zine previously described Obsidian as “strange, captivating, and magical,” likening the album to wandering through fog-covered cemeteries at dawn while ghosts drift between gravestones. Tracks like “Seasons of Hate” exemplify that hypnotic, blackened energy, balancing raw aggression with atmosphere and emotional weight.
Highlights from “Seasons of Hate” and Obsidian include:
A dense, crushing sound that commands attention while evoking haunting imagery
Dark, imaginative songwriting that bridges ancient mysticism and contemporary extreme metal
Hypnotic blackened death metal energy that lingers long after the final note
Originally formed in the early 1990s, Nocturnal Ceremony vanished before fully realizing their potential. Now, more than three decades later, the band delivers a debut album that proves some darkness only grows stronger with time.
Produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by Thomas Madsen, Obsidian captures the band’s raw ferocity and cathartic depth, delivering an unrelenting sonic journey through shadow, memory, and emotion.
Nocturnal Ceremony says of the album:
"Sharing our music is a way of alleviation, up to the point of being cathartic. It is a way to express emotions that simply don't have any words, or a name. Releasing these songs is an act of letting go of some demons. It is about accepting what life now is and who you have become, to perhaps ultimately find some small measure of peace. Maybe by listening, you can too. We are Nocturnal Ceremony – welcome to our darkness."
Fans of Igorrr , Behemoth , and Bloodbath will find plenty to sink their teeth into as “Seasons of Hate” and the rest of Obsidian continue spreading throughout the underground metal scene.
