ICYMI: Royal Hunt - Dystopia - Reviewed By Heavy Metal Heaven webzine ! Check it out here at this link: https://www.heavymetalheaven.it/2021/04/26/recensione-royal-hunt-dystopia/
If you know at least a little bit about the world of progressive metal, you will surely know who the Royal Hunt are. Among the second most important lines of the genre, they have been around even since 1989: since then they have pursued a long, very prolific career. Career in which they developed their very personal genre, which mixes a very melodic prog base with a power substrate. At first accompanied by a very classic heavy, over time the band pushed rather into symphonic territories. A component that also prevails in Dystopia.
Even the fifteenth full-length album in Royal Hunt's careeris an album that in some ways suffers from many years of activity. But luckily it doesn't do too much: on the one hand, in fact, the class of a veteran band like the Danes is audible. Between excellent melodies, very catchy, and several clichés reread however in a way that weighs very little, you feel that we are not in front of the latest arrivals.
On the other hand, unfortunately, Dystopia is not exempt from some problems. The most obvious is a certain prolixity on the part of the Royal Hunts: the structures they set go on too long, often with repetitions. In some tracks it makes sense, but I think cutting a few parts too much here and there was better.
This factor is at the origin of a fairly ondivaga lineup: also the fault of a certain discontinuity. If some songs are fully voted to power, others tend more progressive, and between these two souls there is sometimes a small cleavage. Although as a rule the symphonic element manages to keep them together.
In general, Dystopia largely manages to go beyond its flaws. It won't be perfect, least of all the best in Royal Hunt's career, but it still has something to say musically. Something worth listening to, even beyond the craft with which the group packaged it.
Inception F541 is the typical intro of this type of record: it begins with slight environmental effects, but after a short time the orchestrations come into play. The result is a small symphonic fresco, often enveloping, but which at times gives the idea of stretching the broth a little too much. It goes on for over two minutes, and already shows a tendency to exaggerate in the prolixity of the Royal Hunt in Dystopia. Although for now, it doesn't bother much: as an interlude for Burn it's not bad.
The latter emerges from another brief interlude of ambient sounds, but soon moves to something more powerful. At first expanded and prog, it soon takes a power road. It is a dualism that also recurs in the backbone of the song: the verses are more decomposed, although they are not too tortuous. Indeed, they are guided by the symphonic bursts of André Andersen's keyboards.
More bare bridges (with the exception of the final fitting, rich in orchestrations) then bring the music to the choruses. Direct, powerful, they are symphonic power metal textbook, with a melody that, however typical, affects very well and turns out to catchy the right. Classical is also the structure (with the exception of the long symphonic tail, even a little distressing in the finale), an alternation usually simple: only in the center do intricate and fast solos look beautiful, with just a splash of prog at times. They also enrich a great piece, simple but valid enough to be the absolute peak of the record!
At this point, with The Art of Dying Dystopia shows the calmer and more progressive side of Royal Hunt. A dark start, with plumbee orchestrations and arcane choirs, then the scene opens. We find ourselves in a very expanded piece: some sections are straight only from the rhythm section and slight orchestral sounds. Others are more metallic, but melody and calm also reign in this norm, making it almost undertrack.
However, there is also room for returns from the beginning: at times gloomy, thanks even to doom influences, elsewhere they are less oppressive. In these cases, they usually introduce more open, melancholy refrains, in which D.C. Cooper duets with choirs. And at times, as well as in the verses, with a famous guest like Mats Levén.
Aside from a twilight solo by Jonas Larsen in the middle, there's not much else in a song that after five minutes (and one last chorus a wire is too stretched) goes out and seems over. But then the music recovers, and strongly: at first there is only a sigh, but soon the orchestrations launch a remarkable escalation. A new dark first part soon leaves room for a still shady, but catchy power moment. He hammers for a short time, before concluding a song that, despite its defect, remains enjoyable and of a very good level.
Before dystopia's two ballads, I Used to Walk Alone begins with rainy sounds and a piano that anticipates the melody of the chorus. The densest moment of the piece, it also has metal elements, albeit slight: instead, the many intertwined voices and choirs dominate. At the origin of a light, serene aura: it envelops in a pleasant way even beyond a basic melody that has not succeeded, very banal.
In any case, verses are usually more rarefied, they often see only the piano or orchestrations under the duet between Alexandra Andersen and another level guest such as Mark Boals. Only at certain times are there also percussion and a higher density, without breaking the delicacy of the complex. Which, moreover, proceeds in a very linear way: apart from some guitar veins by Larsen and some small variations, there is not much to report. And the result is an episode that lets itself be listened to with pleasure, but on the whole it is only discreet.
At this point, the Danes raise their heads with The Eye of Oblivion: it starts from a choral intro but then ters back on power coordinates. It is a component present above all in refrains: they resume the start in an even more intense way, with an almost evocative, majestic, very valid touch. But the rest also has energy: the verses, however bare at times and with andreas passmark's bass in evidence, have a nice dynamism. Sometimes accompanied by outlets in which Larsen asserts himself, they flow well; however, the fractions in which the pace slows down are also excellent. They give a thoughtful touch to everything that cooperates well with the melancholy evoked by most solutions.
And so, it matters little if the central duel between the guitarist and Andersen, often neoclassical in tone, goes on for too long. How does it not bother if at times the structure tends to repeat itself: despite the defect, it results in a high-level piece, the best that Dystopia has to offer together with Burn. Sign that royal hunts make it better if they move on power beaches!
With Hounds of the Damned, the Danes are now back turning on their prog side. A short expanded intro, with almost industrial sound soon turns into a more orchestral landscape. From the strong theatrical nature, it develops to become an extroverted central part, of great impact.
It is the absolute best moment of a song that, however, even for the rest does not disfigure too much. Verses, for example, with vague returns of the basic pattern on a lighter, almost intimate approach, work well. And in their way the choruses do too: although their melody lacks a bit of charisma, in general they are pleasant. Especially thanks to their nostalgic calm, which has a good impact.
The usual valid solo on the one hand and a few too many repetitions of the refrain on the other do the rest. The complex turns out to be quite good, but leaves some regrets. If he had been up to his brightest cues, he could have been much better than that!
The Missing Page is nothing more than an entirely symphonic long interlude, which takes up the basic melodies of Burn and The Art of Dying. It turns out to be pleasant, but basically it doesn't help much, if not as an intro (still long and too extensive) for Black Butterflies, which then enters the scene expanded. But it's just the beginning: soon drummer Andreas "Habo" Johansson leads her to faster pace, while the Danish's power influence comes back out. The same base unfortunately holds refrain from the little biting: with a vocal melody from Cooper really stale, little explosive, they don't have much to give. A little better goes instead with the verses: intimate, light, with electronic influences, they are cute with their progressive piglio. But too little to lift the track altogether.
Moreover, this time, it does not help too long, on the contrary: with a structure without almost variations and always the same themes, it is an even stronger limit. The result is a song that fails to achieve even sufficiency. It also disappears on an album like this, of which it turns out to be the undoubted peak in negative.
Luckily, royal hunt retires to Dystopia in the finale thanks to Snake Eyes. A short intro of acoustic guitar, which preeps its themes, then comes to life the second ballad in the lineup. It can already be heard in the verses: on a calm, very intimate basis, various guests of the Danes alternate. Accompanied by refined influences, which bring back to the hard melodic and the AOR of the eighties, it is an excellent base, dreamy and valid. And it best introduces refrains.
Densest, they also remember the eighties a lot. But without knowing stale: the vocal melody is catchy, the wealth of orchestrations is remarkable, and the result wraps very well. The song's tendency to get a little more electric as time passes is also excellent. Enhance the piece without breaking its delicate and enveloping aura; the same can be said of the fact that this time the Danes are not exaggerating with prolixity. The structure is simple, apart from an expanded and more symphonic tail there is nothing else: good for a simple piece, in its six minutes, but excellent. So much so that you're just behind the best of the record!
The latter is practically over, but the actual closure is entrusted to Midway. A short outro divided between a Larsen arpeggio and Andersen's orchestrations,it has little meaning, with its minute and a half scarce. At least, however, he has a beautiful melancholy: this allows him not to disfigure in the queue. And to be, in fact, a good word of farewell for such an album.
As already mentioned in the introduction, beyond everything Dystopia still deserves a listening, especially from those who love certain sonorities. Of course, there remains a great regret within it: it was not for its faults and in particular for the prolixity of the Royal Hunts,it could have been excellent, or perhaps even more so. But after all, even so it is not a very serious problem: if you appreciate Danes, or if you love power, prog and symphonic you are still recommended. You will find yourself in front of a work that may not be exciting but very enjoyable, which will give you a few hours in good musical company! - 77/100 Heavy Metal Heaven webzine

The Metal Music Database on Whatgear for Rock fans - @thebeast
ICYMI: Whatgear music is a database that lists the great musicians of our modern era and the equipment they use to create, record, produce, and perform their music. Music of the 20th and 21th century has evolved over the years, and it has included so many genres of music. Whatgear lists some of the metal music instruments used by popular musicians. It is mostly artists in the rock and pop genres that produce metal music.
Metal music is loud and aggressive, and there are many people who enjoy this type of music. The genre includes individuals, but it includes mostly bands. There are bands that make the best use of metal instruments, and musicians like Jeff Beck and Steve Vai are professionals in this genre.
Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar
Out of all the electric guitars, a Fender Stratocaster is a great fit. This is a metal instrument that Jeff Beck uses. The guitar has a high-class tone, and it is very smooth and comfortable. It comprises of two types-- the Fender Strat Plus Series and the Fender Custom Classic Series. Many American Stratocasters have been produced from this electric guitar. It took 12 years to produce the Strat Plus, and that’s why it’s such an instrument with special features. The Strat Ultra had some extra pickup variations, and an ebony fingerboard was also created.
The Fender Custom Classic Series has a combination of vintage and modern features of the Strats guitar. It includes components such as three modern classic pickups, and it has the bridge pickup surrounded by a copper wire.
Metal Music and its style
Metal musicians admit that classical composers are inspirational to their musical journey. As much as metal music has its unique style, it has some inspiration from classical music. Some of these musicians compose styles such as heavy metal and rock. Heavy metal music is louder and more aggressive than other styles of rock music. Usually, musicians would use more than one guitar and add extra drums.
Rock Instruments listed on Whatgear
Whatgear music lists a couple of drums and keyboards used by rock and metal artists. The sounds are loud and powerful. They use more effective instruments and equipment than other musicians. The equipment sounds powerful and rhythmic. For instance, Chris Cornell uses the Radial JR-5 Remote for live performances. Being a multi-switch remote control, the Radial JR-5 was designed for the Radial JX44 Air Control wireless guitar. It was also designed for the stage amp switcher. This remote consists of 5 footswitches that are used to select amplifiers and instruments.
Drums
The Ludwig Amber Vistalite Drumkit is a great drumkit for rock performances on stage. John Bonham uses this drumkit during live performances. The drums come in massive sizes, and they have an attractive amber colour. John Bonham is popularly known for using this instrument, and he has a signature set in his name.
Bass Guitars
Whatgear lists the Schecter Ultracore VI as one of the bass drums. The Schecter Ultracore VI is used by Robert Smith, a bassist. He, just like John Bonham , has a signature bass guitar to his name. It has a bridge pickup, middle pickup, and neck pickup. It comes in variations of colours similar to silver. The material of this guitar is Mahogany. Another bass instrument includes the Vintage Fender Precision Bass used by Mac Miller. This bass guitar has four strings, a maple fingerboard, a one-piece 20-fret maple neck, and a single split-coil humbucking pickup. This guitar cannot be easily transported, unlike other bass guitars.
Metal music has been appreciated for many years, and the instruments and equipment are all valuable for the genre. Appreciating metal music, especially rock is golden because the work put into it reflects in the music produced.

The band’s sound is influenced by groups such as After The Burial, Converge, Born of Osiris, Poison the Well, Beyond Creation, The Contortionist and other groups in the hardcore and metalcore sphere of music. In September 2018, NO LIGHT ESCAPES released their debut album, The Introspect under the TECHNICAL DAMAGE name. The album was followed by an extensive run of shows throughout Western Canada in support of its release in 2018 and 2019.
In late 2019, NO LIGHT ESCAPES returned to the studio to begin the production of their sophomore album with Tim Creviston (Spiritbox, Misery Signals). Right Stripped - Daylight Into Darkness - Streaming At Rock On The Rise Radio! - @thebeast
FYI: Right Stripped - Daylight Into Darkness - Streaming At Rock On The Rise Radio ! Check it out here at this link: https://rotrradio.rocks/
Band: Right Stripped
Album: Daylight into Darkness
Label: Carney Media Group
Release Date: March 6th, 2021
Genre: Power Metal
Description:
Right Stripped’s third album “Daylight into Darkness” is a mixture of modern American power metal, orchestral, and progressive elements. The opening track “We Will Rise” features prominent orchestral parts, big lush backing vocals in the choruses, and two blistering guitar solos. “Now That You’re Sober” and the title track “Daylight into Darkness” feature a less prominent orchestral sound, but substitute heavy riffs from guitarist Josh Carney and bassist Dave Ross, and soaring vocals mixed with brutal screams from vocalist Joe Kiesgen. The album is full of intricate double bass and syncopated rhythmic motives from drummer Tim Diephouse, who brings the rhythm section together in a very grooving, musical way.
The album also has some softer, acoustic elements with songs like “Requiem”, a song written about the tragic death of high school friend of Carney and Kiesgen, and “Carry Me Home”, which both feature prominent orchestral parts. The album finishes off with a ten-minute epic track, “Against the Tide”, which features a cinematic soundscape introduction, following with mixed-meter heavy riffs and breakdowns, powerful sung vocals, and devilish screams.
Right Stripped is influenced by many progressive elements; however, they believe in putting musicality first, not complexity. “Daylight into Darkness” is the band’s first album in over 10 years, and their best work to date.

Bio:
Right Stripped was formed in 2005 by high school friends Josh Carney (guitar) and Joe Kiesgen (vocals). Carney and Kiesgen recorded an initial demo, titled “Plaguing Words” shortly after teaming up, of which only 300 copies were printed. Later in 2005, the band added Dave Ross (bass) and Tim Diephouse (drums) to the line-up, and they started work on their 2006 album release “A Doubtful Life’s Anthology”. “ADLA” was full of orchestral and power metal inspired songs, with the title track being an eight-part, 25-minute epic that ends the album.
The band toured all over the US Midwest, mostly in the Great Lakes region, for 5 years, selling thousands of copies of “ADLA” and selling out their entire stock of the album in the process. During this time the band experimented with some new songs, with less prog and power metal influences. The band ultimately decided to change their sound a bit with a more modern metal approach on their 2010 album “Absence of Humanity”. The album features heavier riffs, shorter songs, and focuses more on the core rhythm section of the band, and less on orchestral elements.
Right Stripped took a hiatus from touring and writing in the 2010’s, to focus on family and side projects. In 2018 the band re-formed and started writing new material, blending the best of their original prog/power metal sound with modern American metal influences. In 2021, the band released their third, and hardest hitting album “Daylight into Darkness”, a blend of melodic metalcore, lyrical power metal, and impactful orchestral elements.

New Promo: GENTLE SAVAGE - Lovin' Ain't Easy - (Hard Rock) - @thebeast
Gentle Savage's characteristics stem from the ancient Karelian magic spells combined with the feel of European mega cities hum and spin. With a musical DNA twirling back to the earliest days of rock music, Gentle Savage roars with their heavy, yet dynamic style. Their message is clear; 'Don't you worry 'bout a thing. Just let our magic in and we'll take care of the rest'.
Check out the new single on Spotify and add them to your playlists!
GENTLE SAVAGE have released a lyric video for their new rocking single 'Lovin' Ain't Easy', graphic & digital art by Kristian K XP, watch it here:
'Lovin' Ain't Easy' is available on all major streaming services, at: https://smarturl.it/gentlesavage_lovin
Order 'Lovin' Ain't Easy' at https://smarturl.it/GS_Lovin_Single_2021.
Lead vocalist Tornado tells the whole story on the single:
Lovin' Ain't Easy is a presentation of a persons emotional state when without really knowing why, one has been rejected and left stranded by the loved one. In this case the narrator is a male person, but it could be anyone who lives in an intimate relationship with another human being. The mood is neither sad nor aggressive. It's more like the narrators love affirmation. He leaves the decision whether to quit or to continue in the hands of the beloved woman who's leaving home.
The atmosphere, melodies and harmonies borrow musically from the wonderful 70's era. Spiced with modern production and sound engineering Lovin' Ain't Easy leans towards The Beatles and Alice Cooper. A careful listener can find some delicate details in the soundscape, submerged in the background and filling up the scenery. This tune is closest to the feel of Gentle Savage when the band first started writing music and it is planned to be a stand-alone single, not included to the upcoming 'Midnight Waylay' debut album.
As previously announced, Due to the current Covid pandemic GENTLE SAVAGE are forced to postpone their debut album 'Midnight Waylay' release to later this Spring. The new release date will be announced soon.
Tornado on the debut album: "Midnight Waylay depicts a ‘taking it easy in the daytime, turning into a beast at night’ kind of lifestyle. Just like a hunter strikes from the shadows, ruthless and silent, these songs can without warning rock your world. As a concept the album Midnight Waylay is best appreciated when served whole, but each song has its own character and works well independently. Find your own adventure, let yourself loose!"
Watch the videos for the previous singles:
"It is all about the songs. And their internal message. That's the basic philosophy behind Gentle Savage."

Down The Void - Groovy Wolf In The Sky - Featured At Arrepio Producoes! - @thebeast
FYI: Down The Void - Groovy Wolf In The Sky - Featured At Arrepio Producoes ! Check it out here at this link: https://arrepioproducoes.com.br/noticias/?n=nSD34pa1TM
FFO: Motorhead, Tool, Pantera, Alice in Chains
About:
Raw rock straight from the soul. Down the Void are an exciting new band from Toronto, Canada. The fierce three-piece are known for their electrifying performance style and ability to really wow audiences with their spellbinding shows. Thrashing guitars, gritty vocals and hard-hitting rhythms; their signature sound is bold, untamed and dripped in raw rock energy. Inspired by artists like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Pantera and
Alice in Chains, the group blur the line between lo-fi metal and heavy rock. Each band member brings their own unique set of sounds into the mix. On bass we have Nick Wolf who’s progressive approach to playing ensures the band continue to push boundaries and experiment into uncharted territory. On guitar and vocals we have Lou Sky, a dedicated blues man who brings luscious licks and rugged, raspy vocals. Finally we have Groovy T on drums, an all round rhythm wizard who’s always filling the gaps with awe-inspiring fills.
Check out this video!
The band first made their mark back in 2018 with their debut album “Midnight Sun”. The eight track epic set the stage for what would soon be an exhilarating rise through the underground rock scene. They followed up this record in 2020 with the album “Suburban Legends''. Again this cemented them as a fierce force to be reckoned with in the industry. Their latest release “Perpetual Motion” takes us on a adrenaline-drenched thrill ride through the world of heavy rock and beyond. Their songs are all an insight into their unique way of viewing the world. Through their spellbinding songwriting they talk on subjects that are often tough to speak about like loneliness and the demons we face on a daily basis. Their music is for people like them who may feel alone or forgotten. Together they create something completely fresh that’s simply oozing with originality. They endeavor to always go that extra mile for their fans by constantly working to create the best music humanly possible.
The life, the vision:
All members of the group have played in bands since they were kids. They note that music was the only constant in their lives and the driving force behind their existence. It’s gotten them through some of their toughest times and brought them so much joy over the years. The group met five years ago when Lou was searching for a new band following the end of his high school band. He found Groovy T and decided to form a band with him. The two brought in Lou’s old childhood friend Nick and the group was finally complete. The three went on to trailblaze through the Canadian music scene performing shows relentlessly. Following the release of their debut album “Midnight Sun”, the group had some success. Their tracks were featured on radio stations, with them even getting the opportunity to open up for well-known acts like Anvil, Liliac and SevenSpires. Their second album was recorded in the Canadian wilderness after they locked themselves in a cabin for 17 days. Though Covid has put the breaks on them touring and performing this new material, that’s not stopped them from rocking. They are currently working on a four song EP which is due to be dropped in summer 2021. Expect to be hearing a lot more of Down the Void in coming years.

Most Famous Metal Musician Gamblers – The Biggest Highrollers - @thebeast
FYI: Musicians, especially Metal Musicians, know how to work hard and play hard. Play cards, that is. Gambling has a strong tie with metal music because both have something to do with being edgy, taking risks, and living dangerously. Gambling is actually a popular theme for many songs. The music of Megadeth and Iron Maiden talk about what bad things can happen if you gamble. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that many metal musicians are also the biggest highroller casino patrons.
Motorhead’s founder and frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, a pretty unique character , was known to be a keen gambler. Everyone knew it, including his fans. This was largely because of the documentary about his life. One of the band's most popular songs, Ace of Spades, was even written by Lemmy. But it wasn’t the cards that interested this hard playing musician. He was more interested in playing the slots. If he is not in the studio or on stage, he can be found spinning the reels at his favorite gambling venues in London.
Steve Albini, on the other hand, spends his free time on the poker tables of the best casinos. This legendary producer and Shellac's vocalist and guitarist loves pitting his card skills against the best poker players in the world. Despite this musician’s busy performance schedule, Albini was able to carve time to work on his game. He has made several appearances in both the seven-card stud and no-limit hold em poker games of the World Series of Poker Seniors Championship. In one of these four appearances in the tournament, he was able to finish in 12 th place.
Another big name in the music industry and a great poker player is Anthrax’s vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Scott Ian . Admittedly, it was not easy for this musician to find a balance between honing his card-playing skills and writing music for the band. Scott Ian has always been interested in the game, but it was his win in the charity game hosted by VH1 that motivated him to play poker competitively. Thanks to online casinos, he was able to train to be good enough to play in the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic and the World Series of Poker the year after that. During his free time, it was claimed that Ian arranged home poker games for him and some of the biggest heavy metal names. Allegedly, the group is made up of Slash, Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, and Kirk Hamett of Metallica.
Is there something about being the lead vocalist and guitarist of a metal band that makes them extra interested in playing poker? Godsmack’s Salvatore Paul Erna, for example, loved the game so much that he got a tattoo of four aces on fire all over his back. Erna is such a big name in the heavy metal industry that it was surprising how he found the time to master the game. But master it he did.
Gambling presents not just a great opportunity to take risks but also is a good way to take a break from the crazy life of a musician. These artists, despite their astounding performance commitments, still made time to get a game in or two of their favorite online casinos because of the love for the game.

State Of Mind - Self Titled EP - Reviewed By Headbangers Zine, Gigs & Records! - @thebeast
FYI: State Of Mind - Self Titled EP - Reviewed By Headbangers Zine, Gigs & Records ! Check it out here at this link: https://www.headbangerszineandgigs.nl/e-hbzine/album/649982_state-of-mind
This American band from Texas was formed in the year 1994, first recording was from ’95. This band lost already two band members to addiction that resulted in death. RIP Scott and Brett. Never heard from this band before and they are hard to find online, but the band is playing classical Metal at its finest. The music is a bit progressive and the vocals are very much similar to those from the Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne. A nice new self-titled EP of a band I never heard from before. - Headbangers Zine, Gigs & Records
In 1994, four friends got together and decided they wanted to entertain the world. They decided to name their band ' State Of Mind' ( SOM ) because that is what music is to them, a State of Mind . Their influences are old school metal gods such as, Ronnie James Dio , Judas Priest , Black Sabbath , Queensryche , Iron Maiden , Pantera , Led Zeppelin etc.
The music is hard hitting and described as New Classic Metal . With the flavor of their influences guiding their way. The lyrics are written to describe ones State of Mind in any given situation, and to give those feelings an outlet other than addiction or suicide. They have lost two band members to addiction that resulted in death. RIP Scott and Brett.
They put out their first studio recording in 1995. A six song, self titled cassette recorded on the only ADAT machine in their area at that time. The latest CD was released in 2019 along with a music video released in Dec 2019. They are now composing new music for their second CD which will be titled “ Shattered ”, and working on another music video.

Nocturnal Hollow, one of the most prolific and consistent groups in Venezuelan metal, returns with its new studio album Triumphantly Evil.
After six acclaimed record labels, both at a Latin American and global level, the distinguished extreme metal ensemble premieres its seventh full-length release, which arrives to definitively consolidate its position as standard bearers of the Swedish Death Metal style in the region.
"We always try to experiment by getting to a level above our abilities," states the band. "The sound approach is the same, always faithful to the roots of Swedish Death Metal. However, we tried to add certain elements of our musical tastes so that the result of this album was different."
The album Triumphantly Evil was released on February 21, 2021. This seventh record of the band is presented as a faster and more aggressive one. Those are the elements that the musicians sought to capture in this record work.
The lyrics of the album deal with Satanist themes, but not from the most literal and diabolical aspect of the concept, quite the opposite. Nocturnal Hollow immerses the listener in the dark and recondite aspects of the human being.
We all have a very dark part within us, side that Triumphantly Evil will help us to wake up. It is time to surface our inner demons.
NOCTURNAL HOLLOW is a Death Metal outfit that originated in Venezuela in 2010. Designed and led by José Escalante, to this day they continue to write brutal content that positions them as references.
Composed of musicians with a long history both in local bands and in international projects, their music recalls the golden age of the genre offering a direct and raw proposal for fans.
They are supported by major record labels that have printed, distributed and played their music around the world. In turn, important zines and blogs have described the music of Nocturnal Hollow as "consistent and competitive to the world market of Extreme Metal".
They are currently promoting their seventh studio album Triumphantly Evil, a record that stands out for its aggressiveness and density. Everything is pushed even further to the extreme.
Category musicians for a group that has a vast trajectory in heavy music, to the point that the media consider Nocturnal Hollow as one of the most important bands in the Swedish Death Metal genre in Latin America.
