Stormblast Magazine premieres first taste of MRSA’s debut full-length, Horrifier — inspired by classic horror cinema
Horror-fueled death metal beasts MRSA have released the lyric video for their crushing new single “I Am The Swarm” , now streaming via Stormblast Magazine . The track is the first look at their highly anticipated debut album, Horrifier , slated for release in late summer/early fall 2025 through CDN Records .
Formed in 2013, MRSA have built a reputation for combining face-melting death metal with theatrical horror elements, and “I Am The Swarm” delivers just that. Inspired by Clive Barker’s chilling tale The Forbidden — the basis for Candyman — the track captures the band’s signature mix of brutality and macabre storytelling.
“It’s the first sweet taste of this album’s full intensity,” says frontman Dean Corpse .
